Dmitri stepped closer to the bar, his eyes never leaving Elías's face. "I came here to find you," he said, his voice low and filled with a desperate sincerity.
Elías scoffed, his expression hardening. "After everything you did? Why?"
"Because I made a mistake," Dmitri confessed, his voice raw with remorse. "I was blinded by fear, and I pushed you away. I lost you, Elías, and I can't live with that."
