"Is that… Miss Lovegood?!" Professor Flitwick exclaimed in surprise. "What is she doing here?!"
"Oh, no! What she's doing is far too dangerous!" Professor McGonagall said. "Mr. Dreyar has just completed an unprecedented magical creature Animagus transformation, and no one knows if he's still in control of his mind!"
Hearing Professor McGonagall's words, Professor Flitwick became even more anxious. The girl in front of them and Victor, who had transformed into a Bifang in the sky, were the only two people who had been acknowledged by the Ravenclaw Diadem. As the Head of Ravenclaw, he absolutely could not let anything happen to them. So, he immediately cast a spell on himself and flew over.
Under the night sky, the Bifang was circling in the sky with its fiery flames, its emerald-like eyes moving as it noticed the girl flying up to it from below. Suddenly, the flames parted to create a path, and the girl arrived at the Bifang's side unharmed.
Luna tilted her head and looked curiously at the beautiful creature she had never seen before. She couldn't help but want to reach out and touch the flowing, crimson feathers.
The Bifang was quite large, at least three meters tall with a wingspan of about seven meters. Luna's hand sank directly into the feathers, and a smooth, soft sensation immediately came through. Not far away, everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that the Bifang had not harmed Luna.
Then, with another loud, clear cry, the flames around the Bifang and the fierce wildfires below were all absorbed into the Bifang's belly. The Bifang's body then began to twist and contort, and a few seconds later, it transformed back into a human.
Victor reached out and gently touched the golden hair of the girl in front of him, saying with a smile, "Luna, how did you know it was me?!"
"A feeling…" Luna replied softly, stroking Victor's chest, then asked curiously, "What was that just now?"
"A Bifang, a divine creature!"
"Bifang…" Luna felt that the name was a bit hard to pronounce. It was at that moment that the professors and the rest of the Fairy Tail members also flew over.
Before Victor could thank the professors for their help, Hermione flew up to him, red in the face, and shouted angrily, "Victor, why did you lie to me?!"
"Huh? Lie to you? What are you talking about?!" Victor asked, looking confused.
"This evening, I asked you if you were hiding something from me, and you said no!"
"I wasn't hiding anything from you. You asked me if I was hiding a secret from you, and my Animagus training isn't a secret."
"You… you're just arguing!" Hermione was so angry her face was flushed. She raised her little fist, but to her surprise, Victor shamelessly hid behind Luna, so she couldn't hit him at all.
The members of Fairy Tail, Dumbledore, and the others looked at the scene with a long ellipsis floating above their heads. Snape sneered, said two words, "How pathetic," and then Apparated back to school.
Dumbledore, on the other hand, let out a sigh of his own, "Oh, to be young again, to experience the wonders of love!"
"Headmaster, they're just children!" Professor McGonagall looked at Dumbledore in confusion, wondering why he would think that.
A moment later, Victor wrapped his arms around Hermione's waist like a drum, and ignoring the little witch's struggles, he began to thank the professors, "Professors, thank you very much for tonight! If it weren't for your help, I'm afraid my Animagus transformation would have gone very wrong this time."
"Mr. Dreyar, even though you succeeded, I must tell you that it was extremely dangerous for you to recklessly attempt a magical creature Animagus transformation like that!" Professor McGonagall immediately scolded. "If we hadn't noticed what was happening, can you imagine what the consequences would have been?!"
"Haha, there always has to be a pioneer in the world, right? Otherwise, how would humanity progress?!" Victor replied with a laugh, not showing a hint of fear on his face. His only regret was that he hadn't created a fixed magic-gathering circle in advance, which would have prevented the scary situation from happening.
Professor McGonagall, seeing that Victor was still laughing, could only sigh helplessly. "In any case, congratulations, Mr. Dreyar! You have successfully made history and broken a millennium-old rule of the Animagus transformation!"
"Thank you, Professor!"
"Excellent! While it was a close call, the matter has finally been resolved smoothly. We should head back to Hogwarts!" Dumbledore said, clapping his hands. "Hopefully, there's still pudding left for us at the feast!"
But it was then that the little witch began to shout, her face flushed crimson. Waving her little fist, she yelled, "Victor, you brute! Put me down now…"
With so many people watching, being held at the waist like that was too embarrassing! But Victor ignored her. Instead, he hoisted her over his shoulder and laughed, "Everyone, let's go back and party!"
And so, Victor's Animagus training finally came to a successful, albeit eventful, end.
As November arrived, the weather turned colder, and a chilly breeze began to blow through Hogwarts.
Since Victor had already used a Thought Projection to finish the second-year Charms and Transfiguration classes, he decided to switch things up for a while and see what other interesting classes there were in the third year besides the compulsory Potions and Herbology. After some deliberation, Divination caught his eye.
The Divination classroom was in the North Tower. Entering through a circular trapdoor, and the room looked like a mix between an attic and an old-fashioned tea shop, and it was very spacious.
The Divination professor at Hogwarts was Sybill Trelawney, the one who had made the prophecy about the Chosen One over a decade ago, which led to Harry becoming the orphaned savior not long after he was born.
Sybill Trelawney (Sybill Patricia Trelawney) was a half-blood witch and the great-great-granddaughter of the famous seer, Cassandra Trelawney. As it happened, today's Divination class was for the third-year Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs.
