Chapter 40 - Fury

Uvogin Is Furious, Super Destructive Punch Shows His Power!

A ten-meter-long slash, dark as ink, tore through the air with a whistling shriek—

It came first, intercepting Uvogin's fist with ruthless precision!

His pupils shrank.

Even while using Jue to erase his presence, Roy still caught him?

Startled, Uvogin twisted his body mid-air with brute force, pulled back his fist, and narrowly dodged Roy's blade!

"Puff~"

The sound was soft—like a knife slicing through tofu.

The slash grazed the tip of his nose, sheared off a lock of his hair, and crashed into the building behind, cleaving off a corner like it was paper.

He didn't need eyes on his back—just the sound alone told him how terrifyingly sharp Roy's strike was, laced with Armament Haki.

Jue wasn't omnipotent.

In that state, one couldn't use Nen to reinforce the body—defenses became meaningless.

One clean hit… and he'd be seriously injured, if not worse.

"Especially this Tianwei guy…

His blade feels even faster than the last time!"

But the most frightening part?

Even after erasing his presence with Jue—Roy still found him.

Which could only mean one thing…

"He's mastered En! He's using Kenbunshoku Haki… like a radar."

Uvogin and Nobunaga exchanged a glance.

Both understood immediately: Trouble.

They were right.

Even though Roy's first slash missed, his second followed up immediately—

His stick-blade swung again, its arc blinding.

Whoosh!

Dozens of blade strikes appeared in the blink of an eye—each one sharp, fast, and homing in on Uvogin like they had GPS.

"Tenghu-style Swordsmanship: Continuous Slash!"

A basic combo… but under Roy's speed, precision, and Haki-infused cuts, it became a relentless barrage.

Each slash had eyes.

"So it is En," Uvogin gritted his teeth.

He stopped holding back.

Maximizing his speed, he dodged wildly—sliding, ducking, and twisting to escape the barrage.

But he looked utterly disheveled.

He was being pushed—by a blind man.

"His En is really something…" Nobunaga muttered, fingers resting lightly on his sword hilt.

He could use En too—his range was about four meters. No one could sneak within it.

But Roy's slash?

It came from a distance.

And judging by the radius…

"Way larger than mine," Nobunaga muttered.

Atop the withered mountain—

Silva sat cross-legged, arms folded, staring at the screen.

Jeno sat beside him, expression calm.

"Father, you already knew, didn't you?" Silva asked.

Jeno looked nonchalant on the surface—but inside, he was shocked.

I've only been gone a few days… and Roy's En evolved again?!

Last time, it was just over 400 meters…

But now?

That looks like… 600 meters?!

Indeed. After unlocking more of the Fujitora template, Roy's Observation Haki had advanced again.

With a perception radius of 600 meters, not even a leaf rustling in the wind could escape him.

"Not bad," Jeno said, stroking his beard with a wise old man expression. "He's improving."

Silva nodded, offering rare praise:

"Just based on his En… he's stronger than his father was."

Jeno: "…"

Can you not leave out the second half of the sentence and pretend you're being deep?

Jeno shot Silva a look. Silva, of course, remained expressionless.

"But," Silva continued, "if the opponent chooses to trade blow for blow, brute force versus technique…"

"En can detect, but it can't stop a direct hit."

Especially when that opponent was none other than Phantom Troupe's strongest combatant.

Taking one of his punches was worse than taking a missile to the face.

The Zoldycks weren't feared across the world just for their strength—

Their intelligence network was second to none.

If they wanted to know anything about someone—criminal, Hunter, or otherwise—

They got it.

The Phantom Troupe was no exception.

"Let's just wait and see," Jeno said quietly. "From what I know of that kid…"

"He's going to lose his patience soon. The fight won't drag on."

Silva frowned.

He'd heard of Roy one-shotting Wu Tong…

But wrapping this battle up quickly, against Uvogin?

Unless the gap was overwhelming…

"Still… I feel he's going to get punched," Silva muttered.

"Then just watch," Jeno said, closing his eyes again.

Back on the battlefield—

Roy's slashes rained down like a storm, cutting through everything in sight.

Uvogin finally snapped.

Enraged and fed up, he roared:

"Enough already! You're seriously pissing me off!!"

He canceled Jue completely.

No more stealth. No more dodging.

He stepped forward twice—short, explosive movements—instantly closing the distance.

Then he reared back his fist, and swung it forward with all his might:

"Super Destructive Punch!!"

The wind screamed.

His massive fist, cloaked in raw Nen, ripped through the air like a warhead.

In the original story, this was the punch that annihilated the "Earthworm" of the Ten Dons' Beasts.

That creature had dived deep underground, but even so, it was vaporized on the spot.

Now, Uvogin brought that same monstrous power forward—

A punch capable of wiping out a small hill—headed straight for Roy.
