After waking up sore and complaining, Gray can be seen getting his morning workout. "Seriously, who would have thought I could be working out willingly..." After being done, he took a shower and put on his clothes.

"Before I buy anything for the house, I will explore around for a bit, and might find an even better house, so no use in getting those materials for now. I will need a backpack to carry my supplies."

{Camping Backpack} (60 Gold)

{Fire Axe} (150 Gold)
"I think the basic backpack will do for now. I don't have many things, I'll probably take the tools with me, at least the hammer, my canned goods, and that should be it." After buying the backpack and Fire Axe, he decided to go ahead and buy the system's map. Once he took his items out of the inventory, he decided to put the fire axe back into it since it was heavier.
After making his way down the stairs, he looked through some windows looking for zombies or anything. Once he saw the empty street and driveway, he stepped out through the back door. Looking at the new Tab that appeared on his HUD.

"Huh, neat, I thought I would have it on my vision, but I guess this way it won't distract me, maybe future updates will add that option." Gray started making his way up the street, still heading north.
After he noticed a few houses on his map, Gray started moving towards them still keeping a vigilant eye, "If I find lone wandering zombies I should probably take them down, get used to killing them and get some more experience fighting them, of course if i see a few of them even more than 3 I should probably avoid them, no need to take unnecesary risks." Plans already forming in his head, he kept walking and looking around.
Finally, after reaching the first house, he saw it was a one-story house, but this one had blood on the windows, even some of them were broken. "Might be for the best to avoid that one, although I could probably try the same thing I did with the first house." Gathering his courage, he walked up to the house and knocked hard on the door with the bamboo spear. Running back towards the trees, he waited a few seconds before he finally saw movement from inside the house.
"Oh, shit, there was one inside..." Gray muttered while looking at the zombie as it made its way out the window, and looking around, until finally Gray stepped out of his hiding place holding the fire axe with both hands. The zombie turned and started walking/limping towards him with its arms stretched out.
"Cmon, you can do it, you've done it before, you got this," Gray said, hyping himself up before walking up to the zombie with the axe already held high. As he swung downwards, he heard a sick crunch and a whimper from the zombie. Looking down at the fallen zombie, he saw that it was still alive. "Damn, I guess I didn't swing it that hard, or I might be that weak, only time will tell, but let's get this over with." He held the axe with both hands again and swung once more. This time, the axe went through the zombie's head, and it hit the ground.
"There we go, it sucks that I don't get rewards for killing them though, but I do get passive income, so I can't complain." Gray tried to clean the axe as best as he could on the dead zombie's clothes. Once he was done with that, he started walking towards the house, looking inside through the windows. After knocking on the door a few more times, trying to make sure no more zombies came out, he tried to open it, and to his surprise, it did.
Walking inside, the first thing that hit him was the smell. "Ugh, good thing I haven't had breakfast," Gray gagged and decided to be fast about his looting, going to the kitchen cabinets, he rummaged through everything and eventually found one good can of spam.
Walking outside the house with his backpack a bit heavier. Looking at his map, he decided to keep going, after all, it's only been around 20 minutes since he left the house. Continuing his walk, he kept rethinking his fight with the zombie, if he could call it that.
After a few hours of walking around each house and killing a few lonely zombies, he finally made his way back to the first house he looted and planned to barricade. "Phew, I guess this could be my cardio workout, killing two birds with one stone." After putting his axe in the inventory, he sat down in the living room, resting while looking for the materials needed. Maybe I should eat while I'm looking for the materials, yeah, let's do that.
Gray could be seen rummaging through his backpack and pulling out two cans, one of them being a can of spam and one of beans, mixing them on a plate, he started eating. "Hopefully, after a few more days, I will start making enough gold to buy any kind of food I want because this is not it," Gray said while looking over at his HUD, looking at his current gold.

After finishing eating, he stood up and took out the hammer from his backpack. At the same time, he pulled the fire axe from his inventory to get ready for all the materials, and after thinking for a bit, he decided he was going to buy them in instances and whatever he was gonna need at the time.
Walking outside the house, he decided he was going to start with the front windows, two of them to be exact, buying two 2x4's (4Ft) wooden beams, "woah, so if it is the same item, it stacks? That's good to know!"After setting them down next to the first window, he bought the box of nails, setting them on the windowsill. He rested his axe next to it in case he saw or heard a zombie.
Buying the sheet of plywood, next he lined it up against the window, getting some help from the windowsill, after making sure it was kind of centered, he started nailing it to the wall. After putting around 10 nails, 5 on each side, he grabbed one 2x4 and started nailing it to the plywood horizontally using enough nails since he was going to have extra anyway. After being done with that one, he moved on to the other.
Moving back from his work, he looked impressed, "Damn, I guess helping out my grandpa with his construction work wasn't in vain, at least I know how to nail things to the wall." It took Gray around 15 minutes per window, and after a while, he was finally done and resting in the living room.
"I guess it should be boarding up windows instead of barricading, heh," Gray muttered with a little bit of self-pity. I wonder what I should do about the doors; they still need to be usable. I should probably block one of them off, but in case something does get in, that means only one way out...ugh, this is so hard, thinking is not my strong suit, yeah, let's just wait and see.
After locking both doors and putting the chairs under the knobs, he headed upstairs to get some well-deserved rest. Once inside the room, he laid down his backpack next to the bed, walking up to the bathroom, he washed his face and hair in the sink, looking over at his leftover gold, a meager 40. I should probably not buy anything else until I've bought two more upgrades...
After taking a 3-hour nap out of boredom and being a bit tired, he looked outside the window. The sun was still high in the sky, frowning. He was tired of having to guess the time. Looking over at the HUD, he decided to buy the system-integrated clock.
I know I said I shouldn't buy anything else before the upgrades, but they are like 2 days away, so I need to at least know the time.
{System-Integrated Clock} (50 Gold) Upgradable
"And I'm down to 179 Gold great...but at least now I can tell the time and it looks to be...3:15 pm cool." Gray hoped that some of the upgrades would let him set up alarms or even tell him the sunrise and sunset timers, but for now, this was enough.
