In Northern Quadrant Siege Capital
There is a boy with black raven hair sitting on a park bench in front of a mini market. He looks up at the night sky which stretches out wide and is filled with stars, raising his right hand he brought a can of drink to his mouth and then he took a sip.
"Ah, a can of cola after work is the best"
The boy yawned then there was silent.The boy's eyes came back into focus and looked at the can of cola in his hand.
"This might be the last time I drink cola"
This boy is named Natsuki Subaru, he is 18 years old, he works at the mini market behind him and not long ago he was infected with a nightmare spell,he thought that when he was over 16 he would be safe from that damn spell but luck not on his side.For the past 2 years he was really comfortable with his life he got a job Living in a nice house inherited from his parents who died when he was 13 years old due to an accident on that day he was really devastated but he didn't want to give up,he fought to live, even though he was alone, he continued to struggle to find a stable job to feed himself until now.
'I'm really are screwd, right? I thought i would be lifving a good life, you know, getting a decent job, buying a PTV, and maybe in the future, I'll get a beautiful elf girlfriend,but that doesn't seem to be the case'
He sighed then got up and left, he headed to the police station to turn himself in, he walked leisurely, looking up at the night sky one last time before he Challenging his first nightmare.
'I'm going to die, aren't I?'
Subaru fell silent once again thinking about the life he lived,Walking he looked to at his right then stopped to notice the big screen attached to the side of the building. On the screen it shows a field full of flowers, there are many people there from children to old people, they look very happy,They were running around, laughing and playing as if nothing bad had happened.This is propaganda created by the government to create a calm atmosphere and make the citizen more relaxed.
'Could such a situation become a reality?...All humans would probably die before it would come true.But maybe if I survive I might be able to be a hero who saves humanity maybe'
Then he chuckled
"Who am I kidding even if I'm survive what can I even do?"
And with that he kept walking and yawning until he arrived in front of the police station, although he was a little hesitant, he stepped inside,many officers looked at him thinking maybe he lost something or got mugged.
"Are you looking for something?"
Subaru looked at the officer with eyes filled with resignation and said
"As demanded by the Third Special Directive, I am here to surrender myself as a carrier of the Nightmare Spell."
All the officers who heard this immediately opened their eyes wide in shock.
"When did the symptoms appear?"
"two days ago"
The officer looked a little relieved to hear that and then he pressed a button on his terminal and said
"Attention, code red in the lobby,I repeat the code red in the lobby"

A few minutes later, Subaru was taken to besment of the police station, his hands and feet were tied and he was laid on some hospital bed .He saw that he was surrounded on the right and left by officers with firearms not for long someone walks to the room that he is in That person has brown hair and Beautiful mustache.
"What's your name, kid?"
"Natsuki Subaru"
"So Subaru Are you familiar with what is in a nightmare?Maybe you heard it from the internet or from your friends"
Subaru paused for a moment, digging through his memories of his knowledge of nightmares.
"What I heard from my friend is that real nightmares are very different from what is in dramas and webtoons because they are all just propaganda made by the government.In real nightmares there are things that are truly unpredictable."
That's a lie Subaru doesn't have any friends. Subaru heard this from eavesdropping on an awakened who was shopping at the mini market where he worked. That awakened was telling his complaints to his friend who was just mundane.
"Correct,In there you are really faced with unexpected and dangerous things, you could be waking up in the middle of the ocean or in the middle of a forest full of monsters."
'I really want to hear that'
Hearing the officer's words, Subaru only became more nervous but it also makes him sleepy.

Hearing that, Subaru could only nod, not knowing what to answer but because of that Subaru also started to think

Seeing Subaru nod, the officer continued.

Subaru started to close his eyes after he closed his eyes all the sounds disappeared he became alone.When he opened his eyes he Surrounded by darkness in that darkness he wanted to look right and left but he couldn't,he tried to walk and run but that also didn't work then he tried to scream but to no avail It's as if Subaru doesn't have a body.There are only eyes and ears.
In the darkness, Subaru's eyes suddenly saw something in a far, Something looks unclear but over time it becomes clearer and clearer, it looks like a human silhouette.It looks like a woman covered in a dark fog that prevents Subaru from seeing her form.
[Do You Love Me?]
The woman spoke in a very soft tone and was pleasant to hear.Subaru who heard her voice Immediately flooded with a strange feeling, Subaru felt nostalgic and filled with longing But suddenly Subaru's feelings were filled with desire, he wanted to answer the woman's question.
not long after that Subaru felt something, his mouth returned,with feelings that Subaru himself didn't understand in his heart he answered.
"Yes"
Silence immediately filled the entire area, there was no sound, only silence.But a few moments later The woman opened her mouth as if to say something, But Subaru couldn't hear her.suddenly he heard what the woman said.

Darknes everything became black again.
