The living room was tense. Joon-ho sat on the sofa, straight-backed, glaring at the man across from him. His father. The old man leaned comfortably against the cushions like he owned the place, smirking.
On the other side, Hye-mi, Soo-yeon, and the old lady sat together, all with dark expressions. The air felt thick.
The man suddenly looked at Soo-yeon. His sharp eyes softened for a moment. "You're pregnant?"
