The Nahesa are one of the more unwelcome groups of people due to their unusual appearance. Nahesa appear as human with snakelike features, such as snake eyes, scaly skin, and forked tongues. They are one of the taller races standing at 6 to 7 feet tall and have a broad build. Their hair is generally black or brown and their skin is darker shades. Nahesa eyes usually are yellow, brown, and orange, but other colors have been observed.
Nahesaiian people do not tend to leave their territory. If you see one on the mainland, consider yourself lucky. More reclusive than the Mao, they stay within their own communities and towns and don't even think of the outside world. If you have made friends with one though, they will stay loyal to you for life. Most are willing to die protecting their friends and families. They live on a large tropical island full of lush greenery, fitting for their elemental, the Gaia Elemental. Their island is scattered with large towns to small villages, all with a chief, but they all answer to their Elemental. Their buildings are not the most extravagant, but they build large temples dedicated to the three deities, Creo, Demolior, and Statero. They worship all three because of their heavy belief in natural balance between good and evil.
Like the Mainlanders, the Nahesa believe in celebrating the remembrance of their dead. They will hold ceremonies and rituals giving thanks to their fallen yearly, and have the belief that when they die, they do not go to paradise with the Creo, but instead are reincarnated into the ecosystem around them.
Nahesaiian names have not changed much since their separation from other civilizations. They have a Hawiian naming system.
