Chapter 117 - Chapter 117

"Since you want to see my other techniques so badly, I'll grant your wish!"

Creed raised his sword with his right hand, extending his left as he shouted: "ROOM!"

A transparent sphere of white light bloomed from his palm, expanding in an instant to two or three hundred meters, covering both him and Katakuri like a giant dome.

"Chestnut Mochi!"

Sensing danger, Katakuri immediately closed his eyes and activated another move.

Above him, a giant donut manifested, bristling with countless spikes covered in Armament Haki, shooting out in all directions like a rain of arrows, leaving no blind spot.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Creed appeared beside him, blocking the spikes with his sword, only to realize Katakuri had vanished.

In Creed's eyes, a windmill-like pattern spun—the Mangekyō Sharingan.

Tsukuyomi only worked within five meters, so he had intended to move closer. But Katakuri, closing his eyes in advance, had slipped away.

"Foresight of the future!"

Creed frowned at this near-broken ability.

"Hraaah!"

Walls of mochi rose from all directions, pressing in to bury him.

"There you are!"

"ROOM!"

"Extreme Evil Sword!"

Creed's figure vanished, reappearing hundreds of meters away above Katakuri, sword slashing down with hellish visions erupting, sword energy crashing like a mountain.

Within his ROOM, Katakuri could not escape pursuit!

"What is this ability?!"

Katakuri was stunned as Creed appeared again without warning. He hurriedly infused his trident with Armament Haki to block, but it was too late.

Above Creed's body, a massive spectral ribcage and arm formed in blue light. The colossal arm smashed down.

Susanoo!

Boom!

Caught off guard, Katakuri spat blood violently, staggering.

"Power Mochi!"

But he refused to yield, bursting from the ground with a desperate strike.

Then he saw Creed's blood-red eyes, tomoe spinning. His heart sank—he knew he was finished.

Wounded, his mind slipped, unable to use Observation Haki to foresee the future. Tsukuyomi struck true.

After such a prolonged battle, under Creed's relentless tide of attacks, Katakuri could not maintain future sight at all times.

"Ding, congratulations to the host for obtaining a Purple Treasure Chest."

"Ding, congratulations to the host for defeating 4/4 SSS-level treasure-holding opponents. Condition to unlock SSSS-level ability extraction met."

"Ding, congratulations to the host for unlocking SSSS-level ability extraction. Reward: Five-Colored Treasure Chest."

The system's messages filled Creed with joy—his efforts had paid off.

Beyond the rewards, his only attribute below SSS had risen—his Endurance advanced.

Now, all his stats were SSS or higher!

Without delay, while Katakuri lay unconscious bound in seastone chains, Creed began extraction.

"Extract Katakuri's Observation Haki!"

"Extracting SSSS–level Observation Haki (Future Sight)… full extraction requires three hours."

"Extraction complete! SSSS–level Observation Haki (Future Sight) acquired. Successfully fused with prior SSS+ special attribute (Perception of Good and Evil)!"

"Fusion complete. Host's Observation Haki now possesses two special attributes…"

Creed immediately checked his status:

[Host]: Creed

[Attributes]: Strength: SSS, Agility: SSS, Endurance (Defense): SSS, Spirit (boosted by Conqueror's Haki): SSS+

[Abilities]: SSSS–level Observation Haki, SSS+ Armament Haki, SSS+ Conqueror's Haki, SSS+ Swordsmanship, SSS Kick Technique, SSS Physical Arts, SSS Giant Power, SSS Navy Rokushiki…

[Talents]: Dragon God Mode (extracting, 15% complete, requires ten months)

[Devil Fruits / Special Abilities]: Ope Ope no Mi, Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, Lightning Control, Pika Pika no Mi

[Stored Abilities]: SS-level Fist Arts, SS-level Marksmanship

[Overall Strength]: SSS+

[Rinne Sword Path]: Animal; Hungry Ghost; Hell; Human; Asura; Deva; Extreme Evil Sword (66%); Perfect Sword (0.1%)

From his fight with Katakuri, the gains were immense—not only had Endurance and Giant Power advanced, but his Spirit grew stronger, and even the Perfect Sword had progressed!

And this wasn't counting the treasure chests.

Creed felt that even if Big Mom herself now came after him, it would be worth it.

Once the extraction finished, he tossed the unconscious Katakuri back to Oven and Baron Tamago, then fled with Ain.

Having beaten two of Big Mom's beloved sons and wrecked her factories, the situation was dire—if they didn't leave now, Big Mom herself might descend in fury.

On the way back to base, Creed felt uneasy.

Though his harvest was great, the Navy would surely be under tremendous pressure because of his actions.

It was possible his position as base commander was over.

"Commander, maybe we should lay low for a while… not return just yet," Ain asked nervously.

"No worries. Once we hand over the twenty billion Berries taken from Katakuri, Sengoku will pat me on the shoulder in praise. Maybe he'll even give me ten admiral candidates," Creed replied cheerfully.

Privately, he opened the two treasure chests.

Purple chests were common, but this Five-Colored Treasure Chest was a first. He was curious.

The last Tri-Colored Chest had given him the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan—what could this one hold?

Purple Chest opened: "Ding! Host obtained Sword Dao Comprehension Card!"

Five-Colored Chest opened: "Ding! Host obtained the Rinnegan."

"This time I hit the jackpot!"

All worries vanished instantly.

Sword Dao Comprehension Card: allows immediate enlightenment into the essence of any sword path.

Rinnegan: one of the three great eye techniques, the supreme eye of life and death, wielding control over yin and yang.

Just obtaining the Sword Comprehension Card was already a delight—it could perfect his Rinne Sword Path.

But when he saw the Five-Colored Chest yield the Rinnegan, Creed was stunned.

The Rinnegan—the evolution beyond the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan!

One of the most powerful ocular techniques in existence!
