Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Introduction

The view before Satoshi was divinely grim. Azora was softly grinning behind him as they both stood before the carnage that used to be the party he was kicked out of before them. "Looks like the warning of high daemon activity wasn't a bluff afterall" The young man said, kneeling down before one of the (barely) surviving members, Agrippa. The stocky, tubby fox beastman was cornered between the supposedly weak healer that once was in his team and the strongest mage in the guild, both looking down at him with a heavy sense of disdain. over his hardly bruised body.

"Karma really bites back, huh?" Satoshi said, kicking the beastman nearer the edge of the cliff that stood before them, the night's atmosphere making said cliff appear near bottomless.

"Satoshi told me and the guildmaster your guild's puny attempt at running away from the kingdom" Azora bode in, licking her lips in a suggestive manner, eyeing the bruised up fox up and down.

"What should we do with him? This slave's the last surviving member of the guild after all" he grinned sadistically, as if saying those words filled him with the sense of depraved pride.

"Well, he was the one who gave the order to kick you out in the first place." The fox was trembling, scooting as back as he could before the cliff, as the mage's large breasts jiggled as she laughed at his fear. "Oh look at him, beastmen look so cute when they're scared. Only a couple of your kind exists, and yet that is how you chose to spend the rest of your life?" She said, pointing the front of her staff at him, the orb at the end shining brightly with pure mana.

"True. You take care of him. I'll check their ruined caravan, see if there's anything salvageable there." He said, those words being the last Agrippa heard before his head was-

"I think this is enough…" Kaio muttered to himself, before closing the browser window on his phone. He then immediately opened up his messaging app to talk to one of his friends, Yui.

"What the hell did you make me read??!", Kaio typed into the chat

"What, I thought the fox-man was to your liking~" Yui responded, alongside a snickering fox sticker.

"You should've read the tags, dumbass! You didn't tell me this was a gory isekai! And he dies in episode 3!"

"Oh. Whoops! Well, it's your fault for not reading the tags either." She then sent a laughing sticker.

"That's…"

He swore he could have heard his neighbor/friend's laughing next door, which made him both embarrassed and angry at her.

She's always been like that, teasing him, but always comforting him too, especially after high school ended 5 years ago, she still stood by his side when everyone else went on with their lives.

The man stood up to stretch while looking at himself through the mirror. Monobe Kaio. 22 years old. A self-assumed NEET. You wouldn't even guess he used to be your average delinquent bully, if not for… his hair. He always curses his old self for getting a permanent bleaching to his hair. Now the tips of it are always bleach blond, no matter how many times he cuts it. He checks his body out. Well, the most he can check since his oversized hoodie covers up most of it. The way his skinny arms sag a bit was the only way you could tell he used to be more muscular during his delinquent days…

Delinquent days, eh… There's a lot of things he regrets doing during those times, between skipping classes, doing dangerous things and most generally, bullying others, especially…

"Oh yeah, how did you know I'd be into someone like Agrippa? And most importantly, how did you know I was into guys? I don't think I ever told you." Kaio typed into the chat.

"Girl intuition~ But seriously, the way you used to look at the new student during our final school year was all I needed to know."

Oh, right. Kazuki Ren. A quiet, portly man that had entered school in the middle of the year, which was honestly all that Kaio could remember about him now. He can't even remember his face, for some reason. He disappeared around the end of high school, never to be seen again. Even the police had given up on searching for him last year and presumed him as dead.

"Also, you really need to put your figures away from the window. I don't complain, but I can't imagine someone else being bombarded by figures of buff men when opening their window~" Yui sent, alongside the same snickering fox sticker.

"You!" He yelled, quickly removing the figures off his window, while being embarrassed out of his life.
