Maddie looked at Xander, who nodded subtly. Maddie turned back to the Queen:
"Your Majesty, we appreciate your honesty. Earning trust takes time, but we're willing to try – for Henry and Victoria's sake, and yours."
Queen Elizabeth's eyes welled up with tears. She handed Victoria to Maddie and stood, her regal composure returning.
"Thank you, Maddie. Alexander. I've watched from afar – your charity work, art studio, and love for each other...it's inspired me to reevaluate our family's legacy.
I'd like to propose a collaboration: Windsor Hearts, your charity, merged with the royal family's philanthropic efforts. Together, we can create lasting change."
Xander stepped forward. "Mother, this is unexpected. What changed your mind?"
The Queen smiled softly. "Becoming a grandmother. Seeing Henry and Victoria's innocent love for life...it reminded me of what truly matters. And witnessing your happiness with Maddie – I realize now love conquers all, even royal protocol."
Maddie and Xander exchanged glances, both thinking the same thing: Could they really trust the Queen's newfound openness?
Suddenly, King Henry appeared beside his wife. "Alexander, Maddie – we've come to a realization. Our stubbornness nearly cost us our son and grandchildren. We were wrong to oppose your love."
He turned to Maddie. "You've brought immense joy and positive change to our family. Will you...allow us to give you a royal title, Maddie? A symbol of our acceptance and gratitude?"
