"Saitama, I'll open a path for you!" Wanda shouted to Saitama. She thrust both hands forward, and immense chaos magic surged out like a sweeping plow, forcibly shoving the dense monster swarm ahead to both sides and carving out a relatively clean passage.
"Oh, okay." Saitama nodded. He didn't stand on ceremony—he immediately charged straight down the road Wanda had created. This time, he was even faster, because he no longer had to constantly split his focus to clear out small fry. Wanda's magic followed closely behind, continuously reinforcing the corridor and preventing the monsters on both sides from closing in.
It became an insanely efficient combo.
Saitama handled the front—smashing anything big or especially strong that couldn't be pushed aside by magic, and taking the brunt of the attacks.
Wanda handled the field—wide-area control, clearing mobs, temporarily stabilizing space, and providing support for Saitama.
One was ultimate brute force. The other was ultimate magic. Together, the synergy was absurdly good.
"That's so cool…!" Spider-Man marveled as he used webbing to help clean up any stragglers that slipped through.
Doctor Strange finally had room to focus on what he did best.
"Wanda! Help me stabilize the spatial fold on the left front! The structure there is the most fragile—it could be the weak point where the energy is leaking… and it might also be the direction of the exit!" he called out, both hands constantly tracing complex formations as he analyzed the energy flow.
With Wanda's chaos magic assisting, Doctor Strange's work became possible. Two top-tier sorcerers working together—one forcibly suppressing the chaos, the other precisely sensing and guiding—trying to carve out a path to safety through this raging energy turbulence.
The team's morale surged. Breaking out finally looked possible again.
Under the combined effort of Wanda and Doctor Strange, the violent, chaotic energy field around them stabilized temporarily to a certain extent. The monsters were still endless, and the space was still collapsing slowly, but the team was no longer running around blindly. They began pushing steadily toward the direction Doctor Strange sensed—where the energy was relatively "thin."

On the relatively intact rock face on one side of the cave, there were several huge carvings that clearly weren't natural. The style was ancient and grotesque, depicting indescribable, twisted giant shadows crawling across the earth, while tiny humans knelt like ants—or were swallowed whole. Other carvings showed a doomsday scene: stars dimmed, and the sun and moon lost their light.
"And these runes," Doctor Strange said while maintaining his spell, studying the occasional intact symbol flashing beneath their feet. "These aren't just energy-guiding runes. They're records… records about some ancient existence. It seems to be sleeping, and those dark cultists were trying to use that cube—" he pointed at Saitama's pocket, "—as a key, or an energy source, to awaken it."
Wanda's expression also turned extremely grave. Her magic came from chaos, and her perception of this kind of dark presence was even sharper.
