Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

He had only heard of the stories from the other agents. Being threatened that is. He never for one second thought it could happen to him. Not in a million years. So, as Peter Jefferson made his way into the restricted area, his daughters face was the only thing that kept him going. "Dad please help me....." the words rang in his mind. The memory painful.

"I assure you Mr. Jefferson, no harm shall come to poor dear Melody....that is if you do a small favor form me," the words hit yet again, this time propelling him forward. He knew they where using him only because he had access to this place, a scientist expedition site launched 2 months ago. Peter walked down a fleet of steps before entered what seemed to be cavern. Tech machines seemed to be spread everywhere, as men and women in lab coats seemed to move around, busy adjusting levers and taking reading of a strange orb at the center hooked to calibrators and wires.

"All you have to do is touch it," the words rang again. Peter hesitated for a second before he remembered what was at stake here.... He took a step.

The uncle Sam outside seamed to be relaxed, talking of the battle field and how nice it was to get a break from it all. After all they knew there was no danger here. As laughter erupted from them so did the ground. The blast was huge... it sent everything catapulting outward from the area of the cavern... one hour later as the news helicopter flew above the aftermath no one could believe what they where seeing.

The roomed seemed dark and cold, with only a small light that seemed to loom above a man with white receding hair, silver eyes in a black suit.. a white shirt underneath with no tie. In front of him was a nice mahogany desk. A name tag that read... Norman Peterson suggesting his name spread at the far front. Files piled to his right with the a government seal and a classified stamp.

All files where shut except one. "We cant bring him back to all of this Norman," a woman's voice rang from the darkness of the room as she came to the light. She had brown hair that was pulled back into a bun, with black eyes that seemed to march her black business suit. Her slender yet boastful body showed she was an eye catcher for many

"Desperate times call for desperate measures Poppy. You and I know all our agents are compromised right now. we need him," Norman said his voice was dark with a raspy ring to it. Poppy remained silent. She seemed restless and wanting to ague but she knew he was right.

"Bring him in Poppy," Norman said, his face firm and eyes that seemed to search for a hesitation from her. Poppy turned and disappeared into the darkness. Norman leaned back in his chair exhausted...leaving view for the opened file. a picture was stuck in the middle. the kid had blond hair with silver eyes below it a name read 'Chase'
