Chapter 141 - Chapter 141 No Possible For Us

Looking at the closed bedroom door.

The young man's face lifted slightly, but then quickly darkened.

He squeezed the phone in his hand and placed it on the coffee table beside him. He looked up and saw his feet, propped up by Su Qing. He felt a little uncomfortable, but he didn't take them down.

"Jiang Sui..."

A small face suddenly appeared from the crack in the door.

Jiang Sui's expression immediately grew colder.

Su Qing pointed at the chandelier overhead.

"It's time to sleep. I'll help you turn off the lights." Su Qing returned to his room only to realize that it wouldn't be easy for him to turn off the lights himself. The control for the living room lights was located in the entrance hall.

Without waiting for the boy to speak, Su Qing tiptoed, turned off the lights, and then tiptoed towards the bedroom.

Crack.

Accidentally bumping into the edge of the dining table, Su Qing bit her lip.

"Su Qing, are you a pig? Can't you use your phone light to see clearly?"

The cold light from the phone cast a straight line, spreading out in all directions. The boy's tone was so urgent that he didn't even notice.

Su Qing pursed her lips, lowered her head, and following the light from Jiang Sui, she saw the bedroom door. Then, turning her head, she softly addressed the figure behind the illuminated beam.

"Jiang Sui, good night."

In the quiet living room, there was no sound except the sound of Su Qing closing the door.

In the dark night, the young man stared at the door, his eyes deep and pure.

Su Qing had been to Jiang Sui's bedroom before, when he was ill.

It was very clean and tidy, almost like a case of mysophobia.

On the boy's bed, he'd left her a brand new set of pajamas, the kind with the tags still on. Even the shower gel, soap, toothbrush, and other items were neatly arranged in a washbasin.

He'd even called her stupid a little while ago.

That boy, really, he did like her.

Su Qing had read in law that no one treated someone unconditionally well. If they did, they had ulterior motives. She had nothing, so what was his ulterior motive?

Was it her love?

Su Qing, caught up in her thoughts, was initially a bit hesitant to shower, but upon seeing the things Jiang Sui had prepared, she suddenly felt at ease. She walked into the bathroom, feeling nervous and anxious.

Unexpectedly, everything was over so quickly. As Su Qing lay on bed, the sweet aroma enveloped her, and she drifted off to sleep.

She even had a wonderful dream. But when she woke up early and opened her eyes, surprised at how well she had slept, she couldn't recall the dream.

She couldn't quite recall what had happened in her dream, but the feeling lingered with her. Brightness, openness, flowers, applause, and justice—everything—left nothing in her mind and eyes except clarity.

In a daze, Su Qing left the room.

The living room was surprisingly empty, save for the folded quilt on the sofa.

Walking into the dining room, Su Qing saw the table already set with fried dough sticks, eggs, soy milk, and a small bowl of millet porridge.

There was a note under the bowl, which Su Qing picked up. It wrote:

"After breakfast, go back home. There's no possible for us already."

It was his handwriting, she can recognized. Su Qing squeezed the note and placed it on the table. She reached out and touched the food on the table; it was still warm.

He must have left not long ago.

Su Qing pondered that sentence for a long time, wondering if he'd written it down because he couldn't face her.

Su Qing bit her lip. Now she was completely sober. Last night, in her daze, she'd felt a sinister worry, wondering if he'd locked the door or something, but in reality, nothing had happened.

Sitting on the dining chair, Su Qing ate her meal in small sips.

Although her appetite was minimal, Su Qing still ate more than usual.

After cleaning up the trash and other things, Su Qing closed the door and planned to go home first. Thinking of Jiang Sui's injured ankle, Su Qing bit her lip and decided not to go home, instead going to the hospital.

She wasn't the type to complain to parents, but Jiang Sui was so disobedient.

Mei Yeqin was very surprised when she saw Su Qing.

"Director Mei, I'm here to find you about Jiang Sui."

Mei Yeqin was even more surprised, but she still let Su Qing go into her office.

Su Qing didn't know Mei Yeqin's phone number, so she take appointment number under Dr. Mei. That was the only way she could see her. It was a foolish and stupid method.

After Mei Yeqin finished her consultation, she saw the young woman in her office. She mentioned something about Jiang Sui, which made Mei Yeqin curious and intrigued.

Su Qing didn't mention Jiang Sui playing basketball in the court downstairs, but simply mentioned that he had injured his ankle.

After the young woman left, Mei Yeqin immediately called Jiang Sui.

"Ah Sui, do you know who I just ran into?"

Mei Yeqin, always outspoken, began to play it safe. Seeing the silence on the other end, she said, "Ah Sui, what's wrong with your ankle? Go to the hospital right away."

Everything else was minor, except for his own health. Mei Yeqin was always deeply concerned. She didn't want Jiang Sui to suffer any harm, especially physical harm.

"She came to see you?"

Jiang Sui immediately thought of something and frowned.

Mei Yeqin didn't care, simply reminding the young man step by step.

"Ah Sui, I don't care what you think of her now, but if you really want to be together in the future, don't you worry that if you really become lame, then even if she wants to be with you, you're willing to let her bear the reputation of having a lame boyfriend like see her boyfriend is lame this kind of reputation?"

It must be said that experience always brings wisdom. After Mei Yeqin finished speaking, Jiang Sui's eyes were almost indifferent. He stared at his trouser legs for a long time, those wounds that weren't really wounds, and he muttered a low sound "Okay."

As he hung up the phone, a text message appeared on the boy's screen.

"Jiang Sui, your leg is injured. I've told Director Mei, and I saw the note you left. However, I don't agree. If you don't see a doctor, I'll have my leg broken this afternoon."

The words were clear and calm, not the kind of words that could be threatening.

Jiang Sui's eyes froze for a moment, and almost instinctively, he decisively dialed the number.

"Su Qing, do you want get beat?"

His words were clearly harsh, but Su Qing smiled softly.

Not even a minute had passed since she sent the text message when the call came back.

What was he talking about? There's no possible that we can be together! !!!

He probably doesn't even believe it himself!
