Bella's pov
Bella Bella My name was called the hundredth time by my mother, not that I chose to ignore her, but I was still trying to get my beauty sleep, as I slept late due to Anita and I discussing our secret crush, whom we chose not to tell each other about till we turn sixteen.
Anita was known to be the cool one among us, while I am known as the snub. Some will call me arrogant, and some will say I am rude. Others will even say I am not friendly, which I never doubt, but arrogant was only a cover because I don't know how to start a conversation with people except the ones close to me, which made them think I am arrogant and rude. I really don't know how to sweet-talk someone. I give sincere opinions about people, be it good or bad, and some don't come out good, which people don't like, making them come up with the narrative that I am rude because they are used to sweet-talkers.
Anita is the opposite of that, as she always tries to please others at the expense of displeasing herself, which I will never do. If possible I want to be in contact with fewer people; I only want to interact with people I call mine, not everyone I meet.
Bella I was brought out of my thoughts by my mother, who finally made her way to my room.
"Good morning, Mummy," I greeted her as I stretched out.
"Good morning, baby. How was your night's rest? It's time to get dressed for school," she reminded me.
Can't I skip today's class? I pleaded, giving her a cute face.
She gave me the look of "That will not work, young lady. Get out of the bed and prepare for school."
I grumpily went to get dressed and prepare for today's activities. The fun part of it is I will be meeting my friend again after the long break especially Anita and a few others I talk to in my class. As I slipped into my shoes, I couldn't help but smile at the thought of catching up with my friends. The excitement of sharing stories from our break made the morning seem a little brighter, and I hurried through my routine, eager to start the day.
