Chapter 1 - Main mission

On a quiet bench near the lake in Riverside Park, a tall, fair-skinned woman sat with her back resting against the cold metal armrest. Her designer stockings and gleaming Valentino heels stood out like a beacon against the dim lamplight.

She was at least six feet tall, and her delicate, flushed face carried the unmistakable redness of alcohol.

With her sultry "mature sister" charm, perfectly shaped legs wrapped in sheer stockings, expensive heels, and an eye-catching E-cup figure, she was the kind of woman who could make a man's blood pressure spike just by existing.

From the shadow of a nearby tree, Ethan Price saw everything clearly. There was no mistaking it—Rebecca Sanders was really here.

His classmate's mother.

And in that moment, Ethan realized… the strange "system" he'd awakened to, and the visions he'd seen on that holographic panel earlier in the day… were real.

"Hey there, beautiful. How about we grab a drink somewhere?"

A man in a neatly pressed suit and polished leather shoes strolled up, eyeing the clearly tipsy Rebecca. His gaze lingered on her legs like he was staring at the Holy Grail.

To him, those stocking-clad legs looked longer than his own life expectancy.

Rebecca lifted her head slightly, her voice sharp even through her drunken haze."Why don't you go home and bother your own mother?"

Her personality was still as fiery as ever.

"C'mon, lady. You've had too much. Let me take you somewhere safe… my place has a spare room."

The man's smile had an oily quality to it—he thought his moment had arrived. If he could get her home, half a bottle of those little blue pills might just be enough to survive the night.

But before he could try anything else, Ethan stepped forward. There was no way in hell he was letting this guy take advantage of her.

That morning, the system's "virtual intelligence" had delivered a series of predictions to him:

"Go to the QuickMart on East 9th and buy this stack of scratch-offs. You'll make exactly $700."

"Tonight, your classmate's beautiful mother, Rebecca Sanders, will drink too much and end up at Riverside Park. Someone will try to take her home. Stop it."

Rebecca's daughter, Olivia Sanders, was a classmate of his—someone he once thought he was close to. They'd spent countless hours together working on school projects, and for a while, he thought something more might happen.

But just when he was sure he was making progress, she had grown distant… cold.

When Ethan finally started pulling away from her, Olivia suddenly reappeared in his life, smiling sweetly and asking him to hang out again. She'd often join him on grocery runs, tossing expensive items into the cart and letting him pay without a second thought.

For a time, Ethan had been lost in the illusion of her "kindness," but eventually, the truth hit him—Olivia didn't care about him at all. She just saw him as an ATM.

So he cut her off. Completely.

And yet… this morning, he saw her holding hands with Tyler Reed, a smirking, arrogant "class clown" who loved pointing out people's flaws in public.

As if that wasn't enough, Olivia actually had the nerve to text Ethan, asking him to come cover her and Tyler's bill at a restaurant.

That was the final straw. He blocked her.

And then, just hours later, the system's predictions started coming true. The scratch-off win, the park encounter—it was all real.

Now, the glowing panel appeared before his eyes again:

Main Quest Unlocked: "Make It Big in New York."

Dream Goal: Own $1B in cash and 10 luxury penthouse.

Achieve this through intel and missions.

Current Task: Rescue Rebecca Sanders.

Reward: God-Tier Memory: Photographic Recall.

Ethan's heart pounded. He could do a good deed and get a powerful ability? This was a no-brainer.

"Leave," Ethan said firmly, stepping between Rebecca and the man.

The suit-wearing stranger took one look at Ethan's expression and backed off, muttering something under his breath. But instead of leaving the park, he hovered in the shadows, waiting for Ethan to walk away so he could try again.

Ethan crouched beside Rebecca.

Her half-lidded eyes fluttered open, revealing the hazy recognition of someone deep in a drunken fog.

"Aunt Rebecca, it's me—Ethan."

She blinked, the name cutting through some of the alcohol clouding her mind."Oh… Ethan… come, sit… have a drink with your aunt…"

Even sitting, her tall frame radiated elegance, and her long legs seemed impossibly perfect in the park light. Ethan swallowed hard—six feet tall, gorgeous, and she still had the figure of a model at forty-two.

"Aunt Rebecca, you've had too much—"

She cut him off with a slurred, "No… I'm fine… honey…"

It took Ethan a second to realize she wasn't talking to him—she thought he was her late husband. Rebecca's husband had died years ago in a car accident, but right now, in her dazed state, she didn't seem to remember.

Before Ethan could react, she pulled him into a kiss.

For a moment, Ethan's mind went blank—Rebecca Sanders, his classmate's mother, was kissing him. Her legs wrapped around his waist, her perfume surrounding him like a warm cloud.

"Honey… kiss me…" she murmured against his lips, her voice trembling with longing.

From the shadows, the suit-wearing man's jaw dropped. He had planned to wait until Ethan left and then "collect" Rebecca for himself… but now, watching her passionately kiss a man at least twenty years younger, he realized his night was over.

With a bitter sigh, he walked away.

Meanwhile, Ethan's thoughts were spinning—this was surreal, intoxicating, and very, very real.

After several long minutes, Rebecca pulled back, her lipstick smeared across his mouth. Her glassy eyes studied him.

"…Who are you?" she asked softly, her voice confused.
