(Tomorrow morning)
Clad woke up to a knock at his door, and he got up to check who was knocking, only to be met with a maid. She had blonde hair and blue eyes, while wearing a maid's outfit that Clad could only describe as "very well made." The maid hands him a box which, as he opens sees a new set of clothes.
"My name is Juliette. I have been sent by the queen to give you a new set of clothes as she is expecting you later in the afternoon."
It was an elven costume, mainly dark green in color with golden patterns of leaves on the top, and a yellow wire attached to the side of the pants.
"Do you need assistance putting the clothes on?" Juliette asks
!?
"No, I'm fine," Clad quickly replies.
The maid waits for him outside, and the man puts his clothes on and takes a look at himself in the mirror.
"It fits me surprisingly well."
"It indeed does," says the maid.
Later, Clad walks around Fexivia and its beautiful city atmosphere, houses that are made inside giant trees, and buildings that are made out of stone can be seen next to each other. The place seemed busy, and people were selling items on the streets. Clad decides to buy an apple before meeting the elf queen again, before giving up, as he realizes that the elves don't use credits but coins instead.
"Damn, if only I had coins ," he says as he walks away from the apple merchant.
(During the afternoon)
Clad meets up with the elf queen, and she tells him that in the moment, it would be better for them to leave, as ever since after the shattering, She has been able to connect to the world tree again, making her able to see things through trees and she has noticed that a whole bunch of people with horns and black armour from across the new world have been waging war against another kingdom, destroying the old governments in the process, making them lawless lands.
"How far is it from here?" Clad asks her in a concerned tone.
"Pretty far, to arrive at the place the demons are currently at, it would be more than a month."
"What!?, How big is this world!?" he says in a shocked tone.
"That I do not know," Sheimer replies
"Now, everything is ruled by the awakened beings; luckily for me, I was already an awakened being before this happened."
Clad understands and excuses himself before leaving to tell Adonis and Lylia that they are departing when the elf guard from earlier tells him to get his friends to follow him.
"Huh? Why?" Clad asks.
"It will be faster if I guide you guys out. Would it not?"
Clad smirks and says:
"You're not wrong. Thanks"
