Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Hearing the confused girl's words, Luca couldn't help but laugh again.

"Emilia, you called me so urgently to pick you up. Did something happen?"

Luca asked.

He had an oval face, fair complexion, big blue eyes, a high nose, and lips that were a touch crimson. He was the epitome of a stunner. Luca was a mixed-race child, his father European. His Central European ancestry was the reason he looked so stunner, which was why Emilia called him her "male idol."

"I'm fired, Luca. You have to comfort me."

Emilia's eyes were about to well up.

Sebastian, sitting in the car, was practically furious. How could this little girl let another man comfort her?

Last night was her first time, so why was she so intimate with this man?

Sebastian suppressed his jealousy. He was starting to feel jealous. Luca quickly parked his electric scooter and asked awkwardly, "Emilia, how can I comfort you?"

Emilia saw the car a meter away, the pair of eyes inside glaring with anger.

This damned rich guy had the school give her a long vacation. She had just said she was going to torture him to death, and now was the time.

She said to her idol, "Hold me, hold me quickly! It's so cold, I'll catch a cold if I cry."

Emilia said this, but before she could even wait for Luca's embrace, she threw herself into his arms.

"Uh..."

Luca looked at the confused girl, but a faint smile still played at the corner of his mouth.

He reached out and wrapped his arms around her waist. He had just graduated and had never been in a relationship, but Emilia always went to great lengths to disrupt his life. Gradually, he'd gotten used to it.

If he didn't accept her confession, then his life would never be normal again. He wasn't here for her birthday last night and had planned to make up for it today, but the rumors about her friend had already spread across various forums and even appeared in gossip magazines.

As soon as he got Emilia's call, he rushed over, determined to confirm whether this confused girl had cheated.

"Emilia, do you have another boyfriend?" Luca asked, clearly concerned.

Emilia was taken aback, then nervously said, "Luca, don't listen to their nonsense. We live just a few alleys away. How could I give up on you?"

Luca leaned over and rested his chin on the top of Emilia's head.

"Really?"

Luca was still a little incredulous. His classmates had already posted many of the photos on the forum, and he had seen them too. But he wasn't jealous, just sad. He'd only been away on business for a few days and missed such an opportunity. "Of course. There's a kind of love called childhood sweethearts. Although I only discovered you a year ago, we're neighbors after all.

Luca, you have to believe in my love."

Emilia continued to coax the boy. Of course, how could such a misunderstanding occur with the man she loved?

"Well, Emilia, I believe you. I'll even celebrate your birthday afterward."

Luca said, releasing the hug.

Emilia couldn't help but chuckle. A man is a man, even his tolerance is so generous.

She believed him so easily after just a few words, unlike some young couples who argue at the slightest provocation. She quickly got on the scooter.

"Take this on. It's a bit cold."

Luca took off his only warm helmet and handed it to her.

Emilia accepted it with a touch of emotion, then said fearlessly, "Luca, I love you. I really do."

A faint blush flashed across Luca's face. He turned and looked at Emilia with a deep, slow, and affectionate expression. "Emilia, I've got a birthday present for you."

Luca was clearly embarrassed by Emilia's explicit words, but he was still happy.

"Really? Luca, I'll definitely love you even more."

Emilia sat in the backseat, a sweet, silly smile on her face.

She stole a glance at the wealthy man before her, watching his face turn pale and blue. She knew he was angry, and that was exactly what she wanted: he had to be tortured.

"Emilia, hold on tight. I'm taking you somewhere," Luca said, and was about to drive.

The man in the luxury car finally lost his patience.

"Wait a minute, you two."

Sebastian pushed open the car door, glaring at the little cat.

Damn it, she'd been ignoring him all along. No woman had ever been so bold.

"Sir, what can I do for you?" Luca asked politely.

Sebastian ignored her, staring at Emilia. Emilia said unyieldingly, "You think glaring at me will make me pregnant? Why are you glaring at me? Humph."

Sebastian, for a moment, was speechless: "......"

This confused girl always seemed so startling, but his anger had clearly subsided. He couldn't muster up any ruthlessness in her presence.

Unable to scare her, Sebastian ultimately resorted to a gentle attack.

"Emilia, can I take you to a better school?"

Sebastian said flatteringly, a kind smile on his face.

Luca studied the face, recalling the forum he'd seen last night. This man was the one who celebrated Emilia's birthday.

"Emilia, were you with him last night?"

Luca asked, his voice clearly unsure.

He didn't want to accept such an answer. He was actually attracted to Emilia, but he was a gentle man, so he rarely lost his temper. "Well, but don't worry, Luca. I only love you. Let's go. This man is my admirer, and he's always shamelessly pestering me. Today, he got me expelled by the principal."

Emilia comforted her beloved man.

Sebastian: "!

I'm so furious! What a narcissistic woman! She actually called him such a vile admirer and harassed her."

Sebastian was furious, his fists clenched tightly, and his smile froze.

"Emilia, I believe you."

Luca said calmly, his earlier melancholy mood lifting.

"Luca, didn't you say you'd take me out to play? I want to be with you tonight. You've been away on business for so many days, and I haven't been able to watch the sunrise or sunset with you. "

Emilia saw Sebastian's furious expression, yet he was suppressing it. She felt incredibly good. Finally, she could get revenge for what happened today.

As the electric car slowly drove on, Emilia waved to the wealthy man and exaggeratedly mouthed "goodbye."

Turning around, she continued to play with her beloved man. The two of them disappeared around the corner...

Sebastian, enraged, kicked the car door shut. The car let out a shrill whistle, and the driver, Thomas, quickly wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Night fell. In a shabby little attic, Orange... The yellow light shone brightly.

The house bustled with activity. It was already eleven o'clock in the evening.

Amelia's mother, Susan Miller, kept picking up her phone and calling Amelia, but it was always off.

The family was sweating at the man sitting so majestically in the living room. A wealthy man from Riverdale had come to propose marriage.

It undoubtedly put pressure on them, but this confused girl had kept her phone off all day, as if she were avoiding them.

"Second Master Sebastian, look, it's so late. Why don't you go back and get some rest? I'll have Amelia talk to you tomorrow."

Amelia's mother said gently, and her father, Richard Miller, echoed her.

But Sebastian's face was grim. How dare this woman stay out for so long without coming home!

He was worried about whether something had happened with that man.

"No need. I'll wait." "Sebastian refused such an eviction order."

Emilia's father quickly dragged Emilia's mother out into the courtyard, where they murmured, "When did Emilia become involved with Sebastian? How come I had no idea?"

Emilia's mother slapped his hand away and said, "I heard that local wealth is better than wealthy families; there's less intrigue. I think it's best for Emilia to agree. That way, we won't have to worry about finding money to buy her a house." "

The two of them were mumbling to each other, a light flickering in front of the door.

Soon, Emilia appeared at the door, but she didn't come in...

Sebastian, furious, said nothing and strode out the door.

It was just a little dark, with no lights, so she didn't realize there were three people standing at the gate behind her.

"Luca, it's late. Go back to bed. Remember to think of me when you go to sleep, when you wake up in the morning, when you go to work, when you get home from get off work, and when you come to eat. And remember to come see me after work..."

Emilia patiently instructed this first-time love interest, standing on tiptoe to place a kiss on the side of his cheek.

Then she stood there, grinning foolishly.

Luca, a little embarrassed, turned his head and looked at Emilia with a slow, affectionate gaze.

"Emilia, I will miss you." "

Luca said, their eyes locked.

Emilia's father, standing at the doorway, suddenly blurted out, "I think Luca's pretty good, too. Emilia could be queen if she marries him. Look, she keeps saying she wants to be queen."

Sebastian feigned a low cough and walked into the living room.

Emilia's mother quickly reached out and patted the man beside her, cursing, "You're just as clueless as your daughter. You'd rather have a rich man than this flashy guy. Look how steady and mature Sebastian is, not to mention he's rich."

Emilia's father: "Without you, I wouldn't have had a clueless daughter."

Emilia's mother: "!

Emilia watched Luca leave and quickly stepped forward to grab his shoulder.

Luca quickly stopped the car and looked at the little girl beside him, her expectant gaze. "Emilia, what's wrong?" Luca asked, bringing her red, frozen hands to his lips and blowing on them, gently rubbing them.

This subtle movement caught the eye of the middle-aged couple standing at the door.

Emilia's mother suddenly blurted out, "Actually, Luca's quite good, learn from him."

Emilia's father was startled. Seeing Emilia's mother's hand stretched out in the air, he took it and imitated Luca's movements, blowing on it and gently rubbing it.

He said with a hint of resentment, "Honey, let's not go out together this winter."

As soon as Emilia's father said this, he was immediately slapped in the face and begged for mercy.

"I forgot to tell you, my daughter wants to be queen because of my patient teaching."

Emilia's mother said proudly.

Emilia's father: "..."

Seeing that Emilia grew up in such a playful family, she wasn't confused. Who would be confused? If she doesn't become queen, who will? The two continued to watch the reluctant couple standing at the door.

"Luca, why don't I go to your house tonight? It's so cold, and there's no one to warm my bed."

Emilia looked at this considerate man.

Luca froze there, and for a long moment, he didn't seem to be rubbing Emilia's hand.

"Emilia, this isn't right."

The man decisively rejected her request. Emilia was a little unhappy, then said, "Oh, this isn't the first time this has happened. Didn't I spend the night in your bed last time, too?"

Luca: "......"

Last time, this confused girl, trying to force him to accept her confession, crawled into his house in the middle of the night and hid in his bed. The next morning, she even yelled at him to take responsibility. But nothing happened. He was so sleepy that he didn't even realize there was a girl in his bed, clinging to him tightly...

So, he agreed to be her boyfriend, otherwise his life would never return to peace...

The man and woman standing at the door were a mess in the wind. Kids these days are so forward-thinking, and this was their daughter...

The queen's demeanor was truly... powerful.

Emilia's mother quickly adjusted to the situation. Emilia's father, momentarily stunned, then said, "She has the same demeanor you had back then."

After another round of beatings, the two continued to stand there and watch.

Everything was peaceful now, except for Sebastian, who sat in the hall, a little impatient, one hand tightly gripping his teacup. Damn this woman! How dare she be so clingy? He was practically pissed off.

No woman he'd ever fallen for had ever been like Emilia. She'd played him, toyed with him, and deceived him.

And she even said, "Rich man, let's be friends!"

It seemed like he had to punish her tonight, that damned woman.

Sebastian felt like he was going crazy. After what happened at school today, he'd been pissed off and unhappy all day.

He'd arrived here at 7 p.m. to propose marriage, but he'd waited for hours.

Now, after finally waiting for Emilia to come home, she was still clinging to another man.

How could he not be angry?

This woman had been with him through all the things between husband and wife, and he'd come here out of a sense of responsibility for her.

A chill wind blew through the darkness. Emilia's mother suddenly blurted out, "Do you think Emilia will go with Luca tonight?"

Emilia's father flattered her, "Aren't you going to stop her?"

Emilia's mother was silent for a few seconds, then said casually, "Life abroad might be quite nice, actually."

Emilia's father: "..."

At this moment, Emilia was still clinging to her beloved husband.

Luca pulled a ring from his pocket, which gleamed brightly in the dim light.

"Emilia, when you're two years older, I'll marry you."

Luca said, slipping the ring onto her finger.
