Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Emilia's eyes narrowed with laughter, and she said anxiously, "I'm all grown up. I'm nineteen now, even if that's just my age, but I really want to marry you."

Luca: "..."

Looking at this cheerful girl, he couldn't help but laugh.

"Give me two years, and we'll have a good relationship."

Luca said gently. He only had two years left in Riverdale. Changes in Europe forced him to stay, and he had to reclaim what was his.

"Okay, okay."

Emilia was already beaming, gleefully gazing at the ring on her finger.

The man of her dreams had proposed to her; what a joyous occasion!

"Emilia, get some rest early. I'll miss you," Luca said, releasing Emilia's hand. This time, Emilia didn't pester him anymore. She simply said cheerfully, "Goodbye, Luca. I'll miss you too."

Watching the electric car slowly disappear into the darkness, Emilia danced lightly to the door.

Emelia's mother, Susan Miller, immediately grabbed her hand and said, "Damn, a limited-edition South African diamond ring! I saw it in a magazine. Old man, you have to buy me one too!"

Emelia's father, Richard Miller, couldn't help but tell her the truth.

"We can't afford that. How about I buy you a knock-off online?"

Emelia quietly withdrew her hand and said, "Mom, you already have too many rings. You can't wear them all."

Emelia's mother was startled. She looked at her own hand, a ring on every finger.

"Uh..."

Emelia happily ran into the house, but she soon felt the pressure.

In the hall sat a stone statue—oh, no, a man...

Emelia carefully avoided his gaze and turned to run upstairs. "Kitten, is this how you treat guests?"

Sebastian pretended nothing had happened and spoke gently.

Emilia knew the tycoon was angry, but she spoke gently. She had to do her best to calm this influential figure.

"Rich man, what are you doing here?"

Emilia immediately put on a faint smile and turned to look at Sebastian.

"I'm here to ask your family for your hand in marriage."

Sebastian simply stated his purpose.

Emilia pouted and said, "Wedding banquets are all decided by my parents."

Sebastian seemed to have expected this, as Emilia's parents walked in.

Without saying anything, he pulled a bank card from his wallet and placed it on the table.

"Here are five million. I own a property. You two can pick any one of them. Just collect the rent and your life will be much more fulfilling."

Sebastian was a true businessman; this had completely tempted Emilia's parents. Looking at the bank card gleaming on the table, these were like pie in the sky.

"But I just want to be friends with you. I don't want to marry you. Doesn't being friends mean I can't get these things?"

Emilia walked over and sat down at the table.

Sebastian smacked his lips, watching Emilia's bewildered expression as she stared intently at the ring on her finger.

"These are betrothal gifts. I'll give you whatever you want."

Sebastian just couldn't believe this little cat wouldn't like him. He could give her everything.

Emilia's father patted Emilia's mother, motioning her to leave.

Emilia's mother stepped forward and politely said, "You guys chat. It's late. We're going to retire."

The two disappeared into the hall, a little reluctant, watching the pie fly away.

"But what I want is for my idol to become tall, rich, and handsome."

Emilia said, just as she was about to reach for the bank card! Sebastian was furious again. This woman actually wanted to use his money to support a gigolo.

He reached out to snatch the bank card back, but Emilia wasn't prepared, so his hand dropped empty, and the card vanished...

"Hmph, rich guy! You got me expelled from school, and I haven't even asked for compensation, yet you're here on your own initiative. You have no sincerity at all."

Amelia watched the bank card she'd just taken fly away, and she couldn't help but feel a little angry.

Sebastian's face remained tense. He turned to look at this woman. Damn, confused little girl, she actually acted so disgusted with him.

"Kitten, you actually want to use my money to support another man. I'm not happy."

Sebastian's face was sour, and it stayed sour all night.

But Emilia didn't think so. She didn't want to make her husband suffer so much. That was perfectly normal.

"Aren't you also using your money to support other women? We have the same point, rich guy. You don't want to marry me, do you?"

Amelia blinked, watching Sebastian's face grow increasingly stiff. "It's you I need to support, not a man!"

Sebastian practically yelled the last part of his sentence. He was so pissed off at this confused little cat that he was practically pissing him off to death.

Elia remained fearless, saying, "Even if you want to support my man, I won't give him to you."

Sebastian frowned. "...I don't like men, so why would I support him?"

Elia admitted she was being wicked and misguided. She extended her finger, the diamond ring glaring in the bright light.

"I'm already engaged to my man, are you still going to marry me?"

Elia said proudly.

Sebastian sneered, then mocked, "It's just a diamond ring. I'll give you as many as you want."

A gust of wind blew by, carrying a gust of cold air, and Emilia shivered.

"Ahem..." She feigned a cough.

Sebastian looked at the woman with some confusion. Emilia, a bit annoyed, said, "Look at you! I'm so cold, and you didn't even take off your coat and put it on me. If my man were here, he'd definitely hold me close."

Sebastian was stunned. This little cat, her thoughts were truly unfathomable.

But he couldn't accept such a comparison. He wasn't her man, he was her man!

"Little cat, this is the first time I'm warning you: don't compare me to others."

Sebastian said angrily, walking over and scooping Emilia up, letting her sit on his lap.

He was so overbearing, not giving her a chance to resist.

Amelia felt the warmth of that embrace and couldn't help but giggle. She didn't have time to dwell on that. She was terrified of the cold, and now she wasn't cold anymore. That was the key. She wasn't going to suffer for the sake of face. "Hey, do you like me?"

Emilia hid in his arms, her legs swinging restlessly. These subtle movements rubbed against him, and Sebastian's body was always so uncontrollable. This woman, sitting on his lap, was still so restless.

But her soft body still captivated him again and again.

Sebastian said in a low voice, "I do. I really do."

He buried his head in her neck, kissing it uncontrollably.

Her long, thick, dark hair was tousled, falling to her waist.

"Hey, hey, stop it. It's itchy."

Emilia hated this behavior; it made her itch all over. But strangely,

Sebastian obediently stopped the kisses.

"Kitten, I like you. Marry me."

Sebastian tightened his arms, completely hiding Emilia in his arms, afraid that the cold wind outside would hurt her.

It was a strange feeling; he had actually fallen for this innocent little girl. "You're being insincere. We just met. You have to impress me. You know, I have a man in my heart."

Emilia, still childish, reached out and pinched Sebastian's cheek, even playfully pulling at the newly grown beard on his chin.

Sebastian howled in pain. This damn woman, pulling out the hair from a tiger's mouth. Wasn't she afraid he'd eat her?

"Kitten, I can give you everything I have. Isn't that okay?"

Sebastian promised solemnly, hiding Emilia's playful little hands in his chest.

But those little hands kept groping and scratching at him.

Sebastian tried to suppress the sensations coming from his body, swallowing his saliva continuously.

His body was already ablaze with these unbridled touches, but he was constrained by the fact that this was Emilia's home—the Millers'. "But I can't give you everything I have." Emilia's small hand repeatedly traced circles on Sebastian's chest, her answering nonchalant.

"Why?"

Sebastian tensed for a moment. He was already captivated by this little woman; how could he not have everything she had?

"Because, because, well, I don't know why."

Emilia said this with a silly smile. It was true that she liked this man's looks, but things had moved on too quickly.

A one-night stand last night, and a proposal today—it was too unreal, and her little heart couldn't accept it.

"Kitten, you're teasing me. How should I punish you?"

Sebastian said, pressing Emilia onto the table, his gaze blazing at her rosy little face.

"This is my home. You can't kiss me here."

Emilia quickly turned away, biting her lower lip tightly.

She admitted that this man was a good kisser, but how could they do this? Sebastian suddenly laughed and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Amelia pouted, displeased with Sebastian's behavior, but he quickly pulled her into his arms again.

"Kitten, it's late. Let's go home."

Sebastian checked his watch. It was almost midnight, and he worried that if he didn't take her home—Osorn Manor—this lost girl would go back to her beloved boyfriend...

Amelia was startled and pushed Sebastian's chest hard. She knew what he was up to.

"My home is right here. Where else can I go back to?"

Amelia tried to shake off the hungry wolf, but Sebastian refused to release his hold. His body was ablaze. This little body always aroused his desire. He really wanted to take her right here. Countless options raced through his mind. Taking advantage of Emilia's distraction, he leaned forward and quickly kissed her lips. Sebastian was captivated by her immature resistance and frantic struggle, but it also revealed that he had never kissed that supposedly "man of god" before and lacked any common sense. Seeing Emilia, unable to breathe from nervousness, her face flushed crimson, her small hands darting across his chest, Sebastian reluctantly released the kiss and gently pinched Emilia's nose. He didn't know why he relished this gesture. Emilia glared at the man, then said in a strange tone, "You're a scoundrel, rich man! I don't want you anymore." She hurriedly tried to escape the embrace. But just as she took a step, a gust of cold wind blew past, shaking Emilia's body. Large hands quickly grabbed her back. The small body tumbled back into Sebastian's arms, and she angrily pounded his chest. Sebastian gently patted her back, helping her to calm down.

"Kitten, are we staying here tonight?"

Sebastian asked ambiguously, looking at the shy little woman in his arms.

"There's a rug in my room. You can sleep there. I'm very sleepy. My man is taking me to…"

"Enough. I don't want to hear it."

Sebastian interrupted Emilia coldly. Didn't this damn woman know he cared?

"Amazingly"? What man would want to see the woman he loved fooling around with another man?

"Then go back. I don't want to tell you anyway."

Amelia began to rage. She hated anyone who interrupted her joyful encounter, and this rich man didn't even let her speak. Sebastian was stunned for a moment, then adopted a gentle tone. "Kitten, don't you know I'm jealous?"

"The vinegar is in the kitchen. There's none on the table. If you want some, I'll get it for you."

Amelia answered truthfully...

Sebastian was once again furious. This was a metaphor, wasn't it? This damn woman...

"Rich man, I'm so sleepy. I want to sleep."

Amelia yawned.

Sebastian looked at the room upstairs, a flicker of evil in his heart.

"Kitten, how could you bear to let me sleep on the carpet tonight? It's so cold. Don't you want someone to warm your bed?"

How could Sebastian bear to go back? What if he couldn't keep an eye on her and Emilia ran off with that man again? What would he do then?

"Warm the bed? Good idea."

Amelia's lips curled into a wicked smile.

Sebastian looked at Emilia seriously and nodded. "Look, that's my room upstairs. Go up and warm the bed. I'll be right there. Remember, don't mess with anything in my room."

Emilia bewitched the man, but that wasn't her room...

Sebastian had truly been clever all his life, only to be foolish for a moment. He'd been fooled by this little woman.

He then put Emilia down and strode upstairs, a faint smile playing on his face...

Emilia watched Sebastian disappear through the doorway of the second-floor room and couldn't help but laugh.

That room held many secrets worth Sebastian's exploration.

But she knew Sebastian would be furious, and she didn't want to be bullied by this hungry wolf.

She turned around, picked up her phone, and called her beloved boyfriend. But what had happened to Sebastian?
