Marina froze for a second, staring at her ruined skirt, then exploded,

he car screeched to a halt, the window rolled down, and a guy in black sunglasses leaned out casually.

He looked her over once, smirked faintly, and then—without a word—sped off again.

Marina's jaw dropped. "Unbelievable…"

‎By the time she reached her classroom, she spotted him sitting at the back, leaning against his chair like the king of the world.

She stomped over, slammed her palm on his desk, and said,

"Are you blind, or do you just drive with eggs for eyes?"

The boy barely looked up. "For what?" he asked flatly.

‎"For splashing me, you… you road hazard in human form!" she shot back.

‎He smirked faintly but ignored her, flipping a page in his notebook.

Marina leaned closer. "You must have bought your driving license from a cereal box."

‎Before she could continue, the teacher walked in.

"Miss Marina, to your seat, please."

Marina glared at the boy one last time before storming to her desk.
