When they got to the next town they turned them over to the adventurers' guild. Fortunately, they had a bounty out for the crew. They gave the reward of their bounty to their client. After they convinced him to accept it.
The rest of the Journey was uneventful. In two days they got to the Aurora Dungeon. An old tower building made of limestone.
They stood in front of an arched doorway and looked at each other.
"No turning back now," Uvilus murmured and Brav walked in. They were ushered in by towering pillars on both sides.
They did not get any further before they ran into the third party. A five-team party made up of a thief, a berserker, a healer, a beast tamer, and a gunner.
"You are late," a man said as he pulled out throwing knives from rage bunnies.
"We were warming up on the way here," Uvilus explained.
"They are the ones we were waiting for. The Heroes of Fel and Bodkins," the man pointed at Uvilus and Arrow respectively.
"You should have waited for us to enter the dungeon together," Arrow complained.
"We should introduce ourselves," Uvilus suggested.
"There is no time for that," Arrow said and walked past their new teammates. His party followed him and the new members joined them.
'Their Healer looks familiar,' Rye thought as he followed them closely. Moments later, he remembered where he knew her from.
'The Healer from the Healers' guild. The same one who offered me a grant,' Rye walked quickly as he tried to catch up with her.
As they went further into the dungeon, the limestone-tiled floors changed. It turned sandstone. Some dust devils blew through them.
They shielded their eyes, when they opened them, they were at a dead end. In front of them was a tall wall that touched the ceiling.
"What just happened?" Juvita asked running her hands on the wall.
They turned around to see a path different from the one they used there. Yash immediately drew his sword. Brav, Oh and some others were walking back when Juvita stopped them.
"Don't move! We have been teleported to another room," Juvita cautioned.
"It can't be. I did not see a teleportation circle," Oh mentioned looking at the thief from the new party.
"I did not sense any traps." the thief from the other team mentioned. She shook her head as she said.
One of us may have stepped on or touched something that may have triggered the trap.
