Hazel's POV.
He was now a mere shell of the man he used to be. The terrifying and scary Alpha Liam was nothing but a memory now, and a reminder not to be evil like he did. He was a lesson to future generations not to get involved in the kind of evil that he did.
With trembling hands, I reached out and started to untie the ropes that bound his body to the platform. Each knot seemed to tighten painfully around my heart as I did, making me a little nauseous, but I pushed through it all, determined to free myself from this one and for all.
As soon as the last knot came undone, I pushed his body out of the platform and onto the ground below. Blood trailed behind me as I dragged him out of the room, staining the earth with a dark crimson hue. I didn't stop until I reached the palace's cementry.
