Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 – Shattered Horizons

The world outside trembled. From the skies above, a faint hum resonated—so subtle that most would not notice.

But one man, dressed in black, stood on the cliff, eyes narrowed, sensing the disturbance rippling through reality itself.

"Impossible…" he muttered, his voice cold yet tense. "The seal… it's broken."

Across the horizon, the clouds warped unnaturally, twisting as if responding to a force unseen. The wind carried a peculiar energy, making hair and clothes ripple against the sudden pull of something immense.

His hand instinctively brushed the amulet around his neck, glowing faintly. He knew—something had shifted.

The Promise Realm, the very heart of countless vows and oaths, was no longer contained.

Its influence now seeped into their world, touching minds and bending reality.

The man's eyes darkened as he watched distant villages flicker in and out of awareness.

Some people paused mid-step, staring blankly, sensing an anomaly they could not name.

A faint echo of a boy's laughter—too pure, too familiar—whispered in the air, vanishing as quickly as it came.

He clenched his fists. "So… they've awakened it. Kento and Furi. Both of them."

A storm raged behind him, dark clouds swirling, reflecting the chaos spreading across the world.

Lightning cracked, revealing brief glimpses of strange silhouettes flying across the skies—like shadows trying to escape their cage.

Every strike of thunder seemed to resonate with the memory of promises, both broken and unbroken.

"This is only the beginning," he whispered. "If they cannot control it… if the Devourer's influence spreads… all the worlds will tremble."

The cliffside rattled as he turned toward the horizon, black coat flaring in the wind.

Above him, the sky itself seemed to fracture, ribbons of light and darkness weaving across the clouds.

He could feel it—the collision of fates, the awakening of the broken sky, and the true weight of the promises that would now reshape reality.

Somewhere, far beyond, Kento and Furi had disappeared into the blinding light—but their presence was already felt.

And the world, unsuspecting, began to bow before the whispers of the Promise Realm.
