Synopsis
Kento is just a boy standing on the edge of a broken world— a world where floating islands drift across forgotten skies, and “cursed memories” walk the earth like living nightmares. Long ago, he made a promise to his closest friend, Furi. But shortly after that day… the sky itself was sealed, the world began to lose its memories, and Furi disappeared—without a single trace. Carrying nothing but a cracked blade and an old wooden emblem, Kento begins a lonely journey across the shattered world to reclaim what was lost. One day, a mysterious man in black appears before him and reveals a terrifying truth: > ❝When a promise is too strong… it can bend the world around it.❞ To save his forgotten friend—and the world that is slowly fading— Kento must create a new promise, one powerful enough to defy fate itself… Even if it costs him everything. This is the story of a boy who steps beyond the edge of the sky, guided not by destiny… but by a single, unbroken promise.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – The Sky That Never Forgot

The wind howled across the lonely cliff, carrying with it the scent of salt and the faint echo of long-forgotten laughter. A young boy stood at the very edge, his clothes torn and stained with dust, but his eyes—bright and unwavering—were fixed on the endless blue above.

His name… Kento.

"I'll restore everything… no matter what it takes."

The words slipped from his lips like a quiet oath, almost devoured by the raging wind—but not even the heavens could silence the resolve in his heart.

This world was not the world he once knew.

Islands drifted among the clouds like ancient leviathans.

Creatures born from cursed memories roamed freely across the lands.

And high above it all, a colossal fissure scarred the sky—as if someone had tried to hide something inside it.

All Kento had left was an old wooden emblem and a small blade, dull and imperfect. Yet whenever he faced danger, a strange light would pulse from its edge, as though someone—or something—was watching over him.

But more powerful than the blade… was a promise.

"Furi… I'll find you. No matter where you've been taken."

A distant thunder cracked across the skies.

Then—without warning—the clouds tore apart as a blinding ray of light descended like a divine spear.

From within that light, a figure appeared: tall, cloaked in black, carrying no weapon but a single pair of watchful eyes that seemed to pierce Kento's very soul.

"Boy," the man spoke, his voice calm and deep. "What exactly are you searching for?"

Kento didn't step back.

The wind pushed against him, but his hand tightened around the blade and his gaze remained steady.

"I'm looking… for my world—and for the friend I've lost."

For a moment, the man was silent… then slowly, a faint smile rose on his lips.

"Good," he said. "Then your journey begins now."

And in that instant, the sky split open.

A new world revealed itself—filled with distant laughter, raging battles, and the flicker of countless possibilities.

Kento took one step forward.

It was a small step—but it marked the beginning of a story that would echo across every forgotten sky.
