Chapter Forty Eight
A/N- An encounter with Voldemort with a duel next chapter. Not enough action happening for my tastes so I decided to slip in a battle or two.
"YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY!" Lily chanted as she jumped up and down on the bed Harry was sleeping on. He groaned and rolled over. Lily kept jumping up and down and Harry finally snapped.
"All right!" He shouted grumpily. Last night had been a tough training session and he was aching all over, and not all of the aches were from dueling practice. "What are you, 2?"
"Shut it." Lily said and stuck out her tongue.
"What the…?" Harry trailed off. Lily was acting very hyper today. Frowning, he reached up and felt her temperature.
"Mmm. You don't feel sick." Harry said. Lily rolled her eyes and leapt from Harry's grasp.
"That's because I'm not." She replied and with a huge grin, started her jumping again.
Harry growled and tugged at her leg, bringing her down. Lily whimpered as he grabbed her in his arms and scooped her up.
"What am I going to do with you?" Harry said softly. Lily shivered.
"I don't know, declare me queen of the universe." She replied. Harry snorted and let out a grin, hopping up from his bed while pulling Lily with him. "So, what's the excitement about?" he asked the red haired girl.
Lily's mouth dropped open. "You don't know?" she asked incredulously.
"Know what?"
"Hello? It's Christmas!" Lily exclaimed. Harry clicked his fingers.
"Ah, that's right. I seem to remember a holiday happening around this time." Harry reminisced thoughtfully.
"Harry! That wasn't funny!" Lily snapped.
"Sure it was." Harry said and laughed at the outraged expression and Lily's face. "So, breakfast or presents first?"
Lily grinned. "Presents!" she shouted and skipped away from the Chamber of Secrets with Harry following her.
They entered the Slytherin Common room and made there way up to Harry's room. Most of the House had gone home for Christmas and only a few members from the Slytherin Hierarchy were still residing in the common rooms. Harry and Lily brushed past them, ignoring the dirty glares that they received and walked into Harry's room. On his bed, there were piles of presents for Harry and another pile for Lily.
"Yay!" Lily cried again.
"You're starting to sound like Bellatrix." Harry muttered.
Lily gasped. "Really?"
"Yep." Harry confirmed and picked up a small present. Lily followed suit and soon they were ripping the packaging off them.
"Hey, Lemon drops!" Lily said and popped open the tin. She plucked one in her mouth and cast a glance at Harry, who had also received a tin of Lemon drops. "Wonder who sent these?" she put forward.
"Dumbledore." Harry said immediately.
"Huh? How do you know?"
"I have my ways." Harry said mysteriously and winked at Lily before getting hit in the face with a pillow.
"Not the bloody pillows again." Harry muttered as he inspected another present. He unwrapped it and pulled out a small dagger. It had runes carved on it and from what Harry could read; they were locked in enchantments to make sure that the blade stayed sharp. He picked up a card that had fallen from it and read out loud.
"Dear Harry, This is a dagger from the Black family vault. I picked it out because only a Lightning Elemental can work it and you seem to be the only one I know. Try not to blow anything up while I'm away. Narcissa."
"That was nice of her." Lily said distractedly as she ripped open her present from Narcissa. Inside was a phial filled with a smoky liquid. "Shit!" Lily said in amazement.
"What's that?" Harry questioned.
"It's a vial of Holy Elemental in liquid form. This stuff could kill the strongest of demons in one blow." Lily explained.
"Good gift." Harry praised as he opened his present from Bellatrix. Inside was a set of battle robes. Finely tailored and fully black, they had a soft shimmering look to them but when Harry touched them, the outside was as hard as diamonds and the inside was soft like a bed. It appeared to be made from some kind of Basilisk skin.
Lily had also received one from Bellatrix. Hers was made for a female body, obviously.
Harry had received a book on Battle Magic from Severus, a pendent that stopped all human transfigurations from Louise and a huge box of Honeydukes sweets from the lower year's levels of the rebels. He had given Narcissa and Bellatrix two presents. He had the real presents here and he had sent the other presents as decoys for the Black family so they thought that he was making them powerful. Narcissa had received a powerful Ice elemental stone. On use only, but it could do enough damage to kill over fifty Death Eaters. Bellatrix had received a book that radiated Dark magic. It had some of the darkest curses in existence. IF the family still thought he was a goody-goody after that, then he'd be stumped for other ways to convince them short of Murder. He had gotten Albus a present as well, and he hoped he enjoyed it.
Albus opened another present and sighed as he gathered the 43rd copy of Hogwarts: A History he had received that Christmas. He spotted another present and opened it. Inside was a thick, warm pair of woolen socks. A note on them read like this. 'Merry Christmas Albus! I thought that you had enough books so I gave you something that all people should have, nice warm socks. May they warm your feet for ages to come. From Harry.'
"Cheeky brat!" Albus chuckled as he slipped on the socks.
Lily had received a ring from Severus, one that had an inbuilt shield called an Auto-Shield ring. It would block medium level curses, though if it was used to many times it could overheat and melt her finger off. She had also received a bracelet like Harry's from Louise. She had given Narcissa a book on Runes and a Rune Carving set and for Bellatrix she had given her a Book of Curses and a very expensive Wand Holster.
But perhaps the most important gifts given that day were the ones exchanged between Harry and Lily. Harry had given Lily a small necklace. It was interlocked with several white gems that glowed and on the end it had a picture of a set of Phoenix wings. When she had put it on, she had gasped as a warm feeling flowed over her. The necklace was designed to keep the temperature to a normal level no matter where the holder went.
"Oh Thank You!" Lily had said and hugged Harry tightly. She in turn gave Harry her gift. It was a small ring, with a metallic band that glinted purple in the light. It had a phoenix engraved onto it with small silver eyes. It also had a temperature charm on it as well as a small magical core. If worse came to worse then Harry could always use this if he lost his wand and his wandless magic wasn't strong enough.
"Thanks Lily." Harry said as he slipped the ring on. "But I still haven't given you my other present."
"What's that?" Lily asked excitedly.
"Well, I remember you complaining a few days ago how you were feeling tapped in the castle so I went to Albus and asked if I could arrange a day out. He was reluctant, but he really can't keep us in here. So, get dressed. We're going out"
Harry and Lily walked into the Magical Theatre wearing their new battle robes. They were booked into seeing a play called Magical Brethren, a thriller starring a plot of Renegade vampires and an overzealous Werewolf. It featured some very famous actors and was a love story based upon the forbidden love of a vampire and werewolf. It was shown on a stage, but with magic the cast could practically do anything for special effects. Harry settled himself down as the play started and grasped Lily's hand.
Voldemort laughed shrilly. He had just undergone another ritual, one that made him stronger than before. Crimson eyes burned and pale skin stretched as he ordered his terrified Death Eaters to hunt down that little brat and eliminate him. He stared at himself in the mirror. He knew that the twenty Death Eaters he sent would die, but he wanted to gauge his opponent's strength before rushing into a duel. Voldemort smirked, and flared his Aura. A sickly Black and red flared around him, his eyes turning solid black. His skin appeared to be more like scales, strong enough to repel a lot of curses. His tongue was forked, and he had grown taller and thinner. He flexed his arm and clenched his fist. With a quick agile movement, he slammed his fist into a brick wall. The wall trembled then crumpled into tiny dust. He smirked evilly. He was nearly there in achieving Immortality; soon the world would be his.
Harry and Lily walked out of the Theatre amidst the Hubble. It had been a fantastic movie but the day wasn't over yet. Harry smiled and Apparated them out of the theatre. While he wasn't allowed to apparate under law, no Auror was going to arrest the man that had fought Voldemort and killed numerous Death Eaters and came out alive. While he had taught Lily to Apparate, she didn't know where they were going. He reappeared on a mountain path past Hogsmeade and Lily opened her eyes.
"Wow!" she breathed. They were on a grassy ridge overlooking Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. The view was beautiful and she could see the way the wards twinkled in the light as she gazed down. "It's beautiful." She said in wonder.
Harry smiled and nodded before he stiffened. Lily whirled around suddenly as she felt a wave of magic wash over the area.
"Wards." Harry said, his eyes alert. Lily pulled out her wand while he did the same. "For Fuck's sake, you think they could leave us alone for one day." He complained while testing the wards. They weren't very complex, designed to keep them in. They wouldn't be able to apparate past them or use a Portkey. Harry could take them down in a minute but he wanted to deal with who had cast them first.
Lily caught a flash of movement and raised her wand. There was movement coming from the tree line in front of her and she beckoned to Harry. Harry nodded and leveled his wand. "On three." He muttered.
"One."
There was as rustle, and several leaves fell to the ground.
"Two."
Lily saw a group of people coming up the path and aimed her wand that direction.
"THREE! Multiplicus Reducto!" Harry yelled, and from his wand burst several Reductor curses. Lily muttered the same curse and both the tree line and the mountain path exploded in a shower of dust. They stood alert, ready for retaliation. For a moment there was silence as the dust settled, flames flickering and smoke rising.
Then, a loud voice yelled. "Morsemorde!"
A green mist rose and formed a sinister looking skull with a coiled snake poking from its mouth. Several shouts of curses were heard and Harry turned himself into Shadow while Lily turned herself into light. She had been learning a lot from Albus and this trick being the latest. Several curses flew past them and through them. She had to reform as a green glowing curse that signified the Killing Curse swept past her. Harry reformed as well and they both raised their wands.
"Crucio!" Harry muttered.
"Crucio!" Lily muttered.
The two Unforgivables hit their targets and screams were heard. Lily silenced them with a concussion hex and she squinted, trying to find out where the rest were. Harry's sharp eyes spotted a group lurking in foliage of trees. Smirking, he closed his eyes and muttered under his breath. A loud clap of thunder was heard and as the group sent several curses their way, he sidestepped or let Lily block the ones she could. Harry shouted one final word and a huge flash of light erupted from the sky, striking down the position in the intensity of lightning.
Death Eaters poured from their positions after that, wands flashing as they leapt upon the two teenagers. Harry ducked and slashed his wand, hitting a Death Eater in the chest before twirling it in his fingers while sending a Death Eater into the ground. Lily was weaving between the figures, casting curses as power left her wand. She felt more powerful than she ever had.
"Kurosucide!" Harry jabbed his wand at a Death Eater. The Death Eater exploded in a pile of gore and blood. Harry took no notice as he started fighting another one. Behind him, Lily was covering his back as she sent lances of magic at the enemy.
"Maherius!" Lily shouted and a Death Eater clutched his chest as if he had been stabbed. She banished him back into another Death Eater and they both fell to the ground.
Caerimonia!" Harry shouted and a Death Eater shrieked as her blood started boiling. She fell to the ground, dead within seconds. He glanced around. There were several dead Death Eaters lying on the ground. Only four remained, all were shivering as they tried to duel their way out. Harry ended their lives with a burst of purple light that enveloped them.
"Recruits." Harry muttered in disgust. What a waste of life.
Lily wrinkled her nose at the mangled bodies of some of the corpses. "Did you really have to kill them?" she said.
"Better to kill them here then let them kill others in the future." Harry said as he glanced around. Concentrating, he ripped the large ward overhead into shreds. The Dark Mark was still shining, casting a pale green glow around the ridge.
"But still, couldn't you make it cleaner?" Lily protested as she stepped gingerly over a body. "I'm going to have to wash these!"
"Sorry." Harry said blandly, sounding anything but. Lily rolled her eyes then froze as a familiar voice washed over her.
"Well, I see you have improved." A cold voice hissed.
Harry turned sharply, his wand ready to fire curses. Lily turned with him and they both stared at the black robed from of Lord Voldemort.
"Hello Harry." He said.
Chapter Forty Nine
A/N- I hope you enjoy this scene. I'm writing this to show that Harry is slowly losing his advantage over Voldemort. He may have used a ritual, but he's going to need a lot more to increase his strength and skill to Voldemort's standards. It's a very long chapter, so I hope you like it.

"Hello Tom. Have a nice Christmas?" Harry asked.
"Very well thank you. I have just stepped closer in my ultimate goal of Immortality." Voldemort replied.
"Well that's nice." Harry said. "Now if you could excuse us, we'll just be leaving."
"No, I don't think so." Voldemort replied chillingly. "You have thwarted me twice in less than a year. Not many can claimed that about me. It brings…unwanted attention to me from my Death Eaters, saying I am weak; I cannot let that happen. I cannot let dissidents rumor my ranks."
Harry said nothing, but he held his wand ready. Lily was scared, the monster in front of her had killed many good witches and wizards but she would fight as well.
"I have two options." Voldemort said as he circled the two, not feeling threatened by the two wands leveled at him. "I could kill you both here as an example…or you could join me. Think about it. I could make you more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
"There is only one Dark Lord, that's you." Lily spat out, her eyes shining. "And you don't share power."
"True." Voldemort agreed. "But I do give out power. I can reward you with your wildest dreams. I can bring back your parents Ms Evans. I can make your name revered and held in awe around the world. I can show you charms that you have never dreamed off. I can make you Immortal. You could rule by my side. Harry, I could do those things to you…but you can do those things as well. I, however, could give you the two girls you desire. Narcissa and Bellatrix could be yours to keep. I could show you power, how to summon Demons, how to wield the flames of darkness, how to crush islands like insects. But only if you join me." Voldemort finished, his crimson eyes boring into Harry's.
There was silence save for the howling of the wind.
"No." Lily said and flared her Aura. Her eyes shone with a green brilliance, green and white tendrils of magic flowing from her body. With movements too quick to see, she rolled to the side and with a roar of power, sent a beam of white sparkling magic. Harry felt the hairs on his arms stand up and quickly shielded his eyes from the brilliance of the shine. The beam slammed into Voldemort, who hadn't moved and enveloped him. Lily panted as she stood up, her wand still leveled at the crater that she had created. Dust was in the air and Harry narrowed his eyes before activating his shadow senses. The world darkened, but he could see everything perfectly. Voldemort was unharmed, standing upright and has his wand aimed at Lily.
"Look out!" Harry shouted. Lily quickly apparated as a dark crimson beam flew from the dust and exploded in an inferno where she had just been standing. She reappeared at Harry's side.
"Lily, let's kill this fucker!" Harry snarled. His aura flared and his eyes turned the purest of silver while his hair swayed from the flow of magical energies of silver and purple he had created.
"Very impressive Evans." Voldemort said as he shimmered out of the crater. He held her with a speculative look. "You are quite powerful, but you can't match my power. However, I do not want you interfering. Corpus Multiplicus Demnioca Urtroipoli Ademe Greterey!"
Lily gulped as at least twenty-five demons warped into existence. She backed away as a humanoid Demon grinned and stretched his arm, which was covered in blades.
"Remember your Holy abilities." Harry encouraged, before he leapt into action with Voldemort.
Harry jumped forward and sliced his wand up. "Neken!" He growled and a pale light erupted from his wand. Harry didn't watch to see what happened as he rolled to the side and sent a wave of molten lead at Voldemort.
Voldemort smirked as he deflected the first curse lazily and flicked his wand at the molten lead, dispelling it.
"Maastricht!" Harry sent another dark curse, the stream of magic erupting from his wand with the sound of a cannon. Voldemort grinned manically and from his hand leapt a fireball of pure black. The curse and fireball met, exploding in mid-air.
"You'll have to do better than that!" Voldemort sneered. He opened his mouth and from it came the most horrible noise Harry had ever heard. The sound was so great that he was flung like a rag doll into the air and came crashing down. Voldemort closed his mouth and leveled his wand. "Avada Kedavra!" he intoned.
Harry watched the green beam of death zoom closer and quickly apparated from his position. He reappeared and with a flare of purple, flung out his hands. The ground beneath Voldemort rumbled and cracked, before opening up in a massive hole. Voldemort had disappeared as soon as Harry had disapparated so the attack missed.
"Morendo!" Voldemort muttered and a streak of silver sliced through the ground. Harry hooked his wand behind his thumb and thrust his hand out and the evaporated as it came in contact with a circular golden dome. Harry grinned and flicked his wand. Several cannonballs shot out, and Voldemort waved his wand. The cannonballs detonated as they came within reach of the Dark Lord.
"Fratricide!" Harry said. His wand glowed and from it came a large pale curse with flickering spots of color. Voldemort apparated and reappeared elsewhere. He thrust his hand out and another large fireball made up of pure black flames erupted from his outstretched hand. Harry muttered a charm and a flock of birds flew from his wand, chattering happily before shrieking in pain as the fireball enveloped them in a microsecond, leaving nothing behind, not even dust.
"Caerimonia!" Voldemort hissed, his eyes turning black as he let lose his Aura. As a teal curse rocketed through the air, Voldemort surrounded himself by a black and red Aura, which flickered angrily. Harry's eyes widened at the power he could feel and he apparated away before the curse came in contact. He reappeared and snapped his fingers. Iron ropes bound Voldemort, who struggled for a second before flinging his arms out, breaking through them.
"Korewa Jigokudesu!" Voldemort yelled and Harry's mind tracked the words before he quickly apparated just in time. The ground beneath him exploded and transformed form grass and soil a fiery crevice. Flames burst out before retreating as the ground swallowed them up.
"Karsado!" Came an invisible voice and Voldemort turned sharply, wand raised as he muttered a powerful shield. The curse spiraled towards the shield and exploded in a burst of magical energies.
"Mollicion!" Came the voice again and Voldemort narrowed his eyes and raised a finger. Flicking the curse like it was a twig, he redirected it towards the tree line.
"Habeus Corpus!" Voldemort muttered, before he swung his cloak around himself and shimmered, before disappearing. The effects of Voldemort's last curse were apparent when a giant zombie of what appeared to be of a Dinosaur warped into view. It had two legs, big teeth and blank dead eyes. It's flesh smelled horrible as it rotted away. The zombie let out a huge roar.
"Fjern hud!" Harry shouted as he came back into view, the invisibility charm dispelled. The Zombie screeched as its torso skin was peeled off like a banana skin. It opened its mouth and spat out a stream of acidic liquid. Harry apparated, just in time to avoid the acid and the killing curse sent by Voldemort, which missed him by milliseconds.
"Ocular Reducto!" Harry muttered and the Zombie screamed out as its eyeballs exploded in a shower of blood and mucus.
"Avada Kedavra!" Harry yelled and jet of bright green light sailed through the air and into the Zombies hide. The Zombie screamed again, but the curses couldn't kill something that was already dead. Harry had to duck as silver blades sliced above his head, one nicking his cheek. He pointed his wand at the ground and shouted something. A circle of light surrounded Harry, about 2 meters off before exploding outwards. The Zombie was ripped to shreds and a pale blue shield seemed to pop out of nowhere. Harry leveled his wand and screamed a curse. Voldemort grunted as his invisibility was lifted and he spun around, wand in fingers and shimmered. The curse passed through him, and hit a demon that Lily was currently fighting.
As Harry and Voldemort battled it out, Lily had her own problems. The Demons were hard to kill. She wasted one of them with a burst of Holy magic before sending a stream of light at another one. The Demon screamed and was relieved when Lily had to cut short to avoid a flying Demon's claw. She rolled over and sent a multicolored stream of curses at the flying Demon. The Demon screeched, its bat like wings being torn to shreds and fell to the ground dead.
"Impalition!" Lily screamed and a Demon fell, a huge gaping hole in its chest. Another Demon, one that slightly resembled a tiger, pounced on her and she glared at it as it burst if a flash of light. Her holy abilities were very effective against Demons.
"Fratricide!" Lily muttered, and swept her wand over two eagle-like Demons. A red mist settled over them, and their black eyes turned red as they were affected under the Bloodlust Curse. Once used by Vikings, these Demons would attack anything and everything they saw…including other Demons.
"Caerimonia!" Lily said, aiming her wand at another Demon. The Demon's blood grew to boiling temperature and it burst into flames, all in a span of two seconds. She sent Killing Curses into the sky to attack the remaining Flying Demons. Jets of green were propelled into the winged creatures, injuring them or killing them. She flicked her wand again and quickly apparated as the area she just stood in became an inferno of flames. She aimed her wand and with the sound of a gun, a Demons head was blown off.
"Silpormo!" Lily cried and a white beam of magic erupted from her wand and propelled into a Demon, which screeched in pain. The Demon charged forward and swung its tail and Lily weaved a ward, the tail blade of the four-legged Demon disintegrating. Lily pointed her wand and was about to kill it when it exploded. She looked past the corpse to see Harry and Voldemort sending jets of light at each other.
Harry and Voldemort were dueling, wands waving and curses flashing. They had been going at it for at least 5 minutes and slowly Harry was getting tired. He was only a High Sorcerer, while Voldemort was a Master. He couldn't keep up with the older wizard much longer.
"Stupefy!" Harry launched and Voldemort laughed as the red beam hit him, and ricocheted off.
"Avada Kedavra!" Harry shouted, and Voldemort disapparated as the beam swiveled towards him. He reappeared and Harry had to duck fiery lances of black fire. He knew Voldemort as a lava elemental and his fire attacks seem to a favorite form of offensive magic.
Harry waved his wand and a Cruciatus Curse rebounded. He was pushed backwards as a very powerful curse shattered his shield, the force of the impact driving him to the ground, just in time to avoid a jet of green light that flew over his head. He apparated and reappeared, sweeping his wand in a huge gesture. A black beam washed over the area, scorching anything that resembled living. Voldemort stepped back before crouching and forming a thick and solid shield over himself. Harry directed the beam at Voldemort and the shield groaned, but held. The curse ended, and Harry was quick to leap forward and deliver a kick to Voldemort's chin. Voldemort cried out in pain as Harry's muscles, strengthened by the ritual and his shadow abilities flipped him through the air.
Voldemort landed in a crumpled heap and he jumped up and slowly wiped the blood from his chin. With a gleam in his eyes, he flicked his wand towards Harry. Harry had the sense to apparate and for good reasons as well as the 4 meter square area around where Harry had just been flared up in an explosion.
"Crucio!" Voldemort cast, and Harry apparated to avoid the pain curse. When he reappeared he had to duck as another Cruciatus curse was leveled his wand. He rolled over and jumped up when he was hit full brunt in the chest. He screamed as a white-hot searing pain spread through his body and he fell to the ground. Voldemort grinned and cast another Cruciatus curse, sending Harry into a fit of coughs that spat out blood.
Lily shoved her wand down a Demons throat and cast the final curse needed to end its life. The Demon shrieked as it exploded in a burst of white light and Lily pumped her fist in victory before she heard a familiar voice screaming. She jerked her head to see Harry withering on the ground as Voldemort stood above him. She felt a rush of searing rage fill her veins and raised her wand. "SILPORMO!" she muttered. A huge beam of white magic, larger and more powerful than she had ever created in her life, strong enough to be classed as on a High Sorcerer level, arced towards Voldemort.
"Like that, Brat?" Voldemort sneered. He launched another Cruciatus, before jerking his head up and apparating with a small pop. Seconds later a huge beam of magic washed over and above Harry, who tried to stand up. Voldemort reappeared and was about to send a curse off towards Lily before she fainted, exhausted at the toll of defeating the Demons and sending such a powerful piece of magic at Voldemort.
"Stupid girl!" He sneered. He turned to Harry, who was struggling to stand. Kicking the boy's wand away, he raised his wand and aimed it at the figure on the ground.
"Flipendo!" He snarled, and Harry gave a shout of shock as he was launched several meters through the air and landed painfully on the ground next to a smoldering crater. Voldemort walked slowly up, laughing at how pathetic the Brat was. True, he had put up a good fight, perhaps better than anyone else had but he had also been defeated.
Harry landed painfully on his back and he stared into the sky. It was as blue afternoon sky, the Dark Mark hanging up there tainting the picture of the light fluffy clouds. Cloud…Wait a minute? Harry grimaced as he heard Voldemort gloating and started muttering under his breath.
Voldemort launched another Cruciatus and laughed as the boy bit his lip, trying not to scream. A clap of thunder echoed the area and Voldemort glanced up to see thunderclouds brewing in the sky. "See, even the God know you are doomed." He said and laughed mockingly. He stopped when the boy smirked, and narrowed his eyes.
"What's so funny?" Voldemort asked. "Is the thought of torture finally snapped your fragile mind?"
"N…No." The boy said, throat raspy and raw. "This is."
Harry concentrated even through his injuries on the storm he had created. The storm responded, and a bright flash filled the area as lightning rained down. Voldemort jumped back and the lightning missed him. Instead, it hit Harry in the chest several times. The saying that lightning never strikes twice was not applied here as Harry was hit by at least fifteen lightning strikes.
Voldemort jumped back at the flash of the light and saw the lightning strike Harry. 'Fool! Hit by his own curse. Wait! If he was able to summon as storm then that means…" He stared wide-eyed at the boy and began to raise his wand.
Harry felt the lightning hit him, and pure undiluted energy filled his battered form. His magical stores replenished, full to the brim and he felt his injuries healing with the excess energy he had. He opened his eyes, which were glowing silver and stood up. Voldemort looked wide-eyed before raising his wand in desperation. Harry was quicker and he raised his hands. They glowed, before thousands of strands of electricity arced out, sizzling the air and grass blades. Voldemort screamed as he was enveloped in the elemental attack. Harry held the curse grimly when Voldemort surrounded himself by an aura of flames. The lightning continued flowing, coming in contact with the flames and trying to break through.
Voldemort felt the worst pain he had ever felt. It was comparable to the Cruciatus, the ones he had received for Grindelwald before he had fallen and Voldemort had fled his service in hopes of rising and becoming the new Dark Lord. He unleashed his fire elemental and felt the pain dull and the cool flickering of flames dance across his body. But it still hurt.
The flames and lightning battled each other, trying to beat the other in raw strength. Harry's was beginning to fade and weaken as he ran out of energy. He had been using this attack for over three minutes straight and it was draining his reserves. The flames, sensing the advantage, pushed forward, black flickering meeting purple sparks. Harry started to withdraw his attack, sensing an opening.
Voldemort felt the boy starting to weaken and with all his strength, pushed the flames towards the boy. This little brat was going to die!
Harry saw the flames leap forward and he acted. Concentrating, he sent a command to the storm. The storm responded eagerly. Several flashes of lightning were seen as they struck Harry. Raw power flowed through his head through to his arms and out his hands, pushing back the flames in an instant and enveloping Voldemort again. Lightning also struck Voldemort, sending the Elder wizard flying.
Voldemort saw the flash and knew he had been tricked. His attack faded and he was once again submitted to the horrible pain as purple sparks flew into his vision. He felt a lance of powerful magic hit him in the head and he was sent stumbling weak and wounded. The torture continued until he concentrated the last of his energies to apparate away.
Harry heard the pop of Apparition and stopped his attack at once. He wandlessly summoned his wand and looked around. After two minutes of standing alert and tense, Harry cast a scan of the area. It reported that only two people were there. Harry sighed in relief and sheathed his wand. He looked around for Lily. The little plateau was utterly destroyed. There were large fires cackling with black flames, several craters and there wasn't a single blade of grass that looked to be undamaged. Several mangled figures; the fallen Death Eaters also were in the clearing. He spotted Lily on the ground near a small fire and ran over. She wasn't moving.
Lily groaned as a wave of magic washed over her. She tried to sit up, but never made it. Panting, she struggled to get up again.
"Hold it Lily." A familiar voice said. "You're exhausted."
Lily nodded wordlessly and opened her eyes. There was a dark blur in front of her that slowly morphed into the features of a smiling Harry.
"Where's Voldemort?" Lily croaked out. Harry grinned in triumph.
"He ran away like the coward he is." He said and Lily smiled in relief. She huddled closer to Harry and sought refuge in his arms.
"He's evil." Lily whispered like a child as a wave of fear washed over her just by thinking about the red-eyed man.
"Don't be afraid." Harry said and stroked her hair soothingly. "If anything, be reassured that after today, he will fear us."
Lily smiled softly. "I'm tired." She yawned.
"You used a lot of energy in that attack. You probably saved my life." Harry explained. "What's a Holy Elemental spell you know?"
Lily yawned again, puzzled at the question. "Silpormo Curse."
Harry smiled and aimed his wand at Lily. "SILPORMO!" He shouted. A white beam, larger than anything Lily had been able to produce zapped from his wand and Lily braced herself for the pain she was expecting while mentally counting the ways she would beat Harry over the head. Instead of the pain she expected, a wave of energy washed over her, removing her fatigue and replenishing some of her magical supplies.
"What was that?" Lily asked as she sat up.
"You're a Holy Elemental." Harry said as he helped her up. "So you are immune to Holy Elemental spells. The energy helps you instead of hurting you."
"That doesn't make sense." Lily said. "Voldemort's a Fire Elemental and I remember you hitting him in the chest with a large fireball and him screaming at the nightclub."
"No, Voldemort is a Lava Elemental. While he can use fire, he's not resistant towards the lesser kinds of flames that fall into the Fire Elemental category. It's the powerful Flame spells that he absorbs." Harry said.
Lily nodded and looked around. "So, what happened when I was out?"
While Harry explained it to her, he made a Portkey from a small rock. After he was done, he grasped her hand.
"Ready?" he asked. Lily nodded and they felt the familiar rush and tug at their navel as they were swept away.
They reappeared in Hogsmeade. It was about 3:00 pm and they strolled around the little village, aware of the looks they were getting from their charred and torn robes and cuts and gashes. As they walked up to the castle they heard a pair of witches talking.
"…Flashes of light I tell ya!" one witch said. "Lots of them. Then a weird storm and a cloud of fire and lightning with the Dark Mark. It's a sign!"
The other witch snorted. "It was probably some kids playing around." She said, voice full of disdain.
Harry smirked and Lily giggled as they heard that. They reached the gates of Hogwarts in no time and walked inside the grounds. As they walked in the castle, they heard a flurry of sounds. Curious, Harry followed them into the Great Hall with Lily tagging behind.
"So, we send in four units of Auror's from the South while a team of Unspeakables attack from the east." An Auror asked Albus. Harry stared at the hall, full of Aurors and Unspeakables, all in full battle gear. Some were talking to each other; some were polishing their wands.
"What's up?" Harry asked curiously. Albus looked up at his voice.
"Harry!" Albus gasped in relief. "You're alive!"
"Of course I am." Harry said and frowned. "How did you know about the attack?"
Albus said nothing but stepped aside as Bellatrix and Narcissa Black stepped forward.
"Hey." Harry greeted and sat down. Pouring himself a large goblet of Pumpkin juice, he swallowed it down, wiping his mouth when he was finished. "That hit the spot." He muttered. He looked up to see Narcissa and Bellatrix looking upset and sad. Lily was looking just as confused as he was as she sat down.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"We heard that there was an ambush happening for you. Voldemort had heard that you were leaving the castle and prepared a strike. When we heard, we quickly contacted the Auror's and came to Hogwarts." Narcissa said as she sat down next to Harry and Lily.
"Your family let you leave?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Let's just say that our names have been blasted off the tapestry." Bellatrix said as she sat down on the left of Harry. "I've always hated the look of that thing anyways." Bellatrix continued. "But I'd like to know if we were disowned for nothing."
"There was an attack." Harry confirmed. "But we managed."
The Auror, Mad eye Moody grinned. "How many Laddie?"
"At least eight." Harry replied, leaning back. He gave Bellatrix a one armed hug to calm her and put his arm around Narcissa and Lily. "They were sorry they tried to fuck with us."
The tension in the hall left, Auror's and Unspeakables stopping their preparation.
"But the Dark Lord was meant to be there!" Narcissa burst out. There was a stony silence in the room.
"Voldemort was there." Lily said. At Narcissa's flinch she rolled her eyes. "It's a name. You don't fear the name once you meet they guy behind it."
"So you dueled ol' Voldemort again, eh?" Mad eye asked.
"Yeah. He's stronger than before." Harry said.
Albus smiled cheerfully. "I hope that you left a lasting impression on his mind."
"Oh I did. I showed him the uses of a rubber duck in combat" Harry snickered. Lily laughed outright as well, both drawing odd looks.
"You sound insane." Lily said through her laughter.
"So do you. Five Cruciatus Curses hit me, I got a reason. You don't." Harry shot back.
"Well sorry!" Lily retorted sarcastically.
"You sound like Narcissa." Harry said.
"NO!" Lily burst out before paling at Narcissa's quirking eyebrow. "I mean, really?"
"Wait! You were hit by a Cruciatus Curse from You-Know-Who, mores to that, you were hit by five?" A younger recruit said in awe. "With you, we can't lose this war!"
"Bullshit!" Harry's cold voice snapped them out of their little party mood. "The only reason I won is because he didn't cast a sixth Cruciatus and started gloating. He had kicked my arse long before then. Lily was busy killing Demons, and I was on my own. When he started gloating, I summoned a storm. He had forgotten I was a Lightning Elemental. Managed to restore my powers and hit him by surprise. I got lucky."
There was a depressed silence before Bellatrix whacked Harry over the head.
"Ow!" Harry muttered and rubbed his head. "What was that for?"
"You're no fun, you know that?" Bellatrix muttered. "Killing off the mood like that."
"Sue me, I'm Slytherin." Harry snapped.
Narcissa snorted and Lily giggled at his remark.
"Hey, that's a good saying!" Bellatrix said. "Whenever I do something wrong, I'll say that!"
"Like hell you will!" Lily joined in.
Harry just sat back and watched the Auror's leave the hall. They were glad that they didn't have to fight. As Lily's and Bellatrix's arguing got worse, he smiled. "What a nice Christmas." He said to Narcissa. "You think Voldemort would mind a Get Well card."
Narcissa looked at him if he were crazy. As Madame Pomfrey came bustling into the hall, he thought he might just be. But hey, it made life more interesting.
Chapter Fifty
Author's Notes: To the reviewers who had concerns about the basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets. It's safely asleep and can't be woken by Harry. It needs the Heir of Slytherin to awaken it, as it is only loyal to the heir of Slytherin. I was thinking of maybe having Albus to perform the ritual Harry and Lily did. What do you think? I've never heard what Sirius's Mum was called or Bellatrix's Mum so I'm making the names up. I've taking one name from Suicide Solution, a fic by Mayhem El-Diablo.
Narcissa and Bellatrix watched as Harry and Lily waved from the platform as the train started moving away from the platform. Soon their friends became two small specks on the horizon as the train puffed away.
"So, nervous?" Bellatrix asked her sister.
"What do you think?" Narcissa asked scornfully and flipped her hair over her shoulder. "I don't think that this will work."
"Of course it will work! Harry and Professor Dumbledore did it. We can't go wrong." Bellatrix scoffed and pulled out a small book on Dark magic. She flipped through the pages idly while Narcissa stared out the window, seeming to absorb everything she saw. Their compartment door opening and Regulus, Nott and McNair stepping through interrupted them from their tasks.
"Oh. It's you." Regulus said as he glared at the two traitors to his mind.
"Nice to see you too, cousin." Bellatrix said and leveled a piercing scowl at the Slytherin boy. Regulus growled.
"You won't be smirking when we get home. My Aunt and Mother is going to make you pay for siding with that Muggle loving filth and his Mudblood."
"We'll see about that." Narcissa snapped. She stood and glared at the three boys. "Now piss off!" she snarled.
"Make us!" Nott sneered. He flexed his muscles threateningly as Bellatrix jumped up.
"Do we have to?" Narcissa hissed in an icy tone. For a moment there was a frozen split second, before everyone quickly withdrew his or her wands and leveled them.
"Fuck off Regulus!" Bellatrix said icily, her violet eyes glinting. Her normal bubbly attitude was gone, replaced by a cold and calculating mood that could quickly succumb to rage.
"Stuff you Bellatrix!" Regulus hissed angrily. "You're nothing but a traitor and a Mudblood! You allied yourself with filth and you expect to come out unscathed. The Dark Lord will kill you if you don't change your ways!"
"Really? Like he tried to kill Harry, twice? And failed?" Bellatrix scoffed with scorn. Regulus snarled and with a pale glow, a burst of magic zoomed towards Bellatrix, who shifted into shadow as the curse flew through her and shattered a goblet.
Narcissa raised her hand and sent a swarm of icy shards at the boys. Regulus put his hands to his face and dropped his wand while Bellatrix hit the group with a banishing charm that sent the boys flying out the compartment and slammed the doors shut while locking them.
"Arseholes." Narcissa muttered as she sheathed her wand and stared out the window. Bellatrix snickered and picked up her book. The trip passed with a relative ease after that incident, the sun rising and settling in the sky as the train slowed and stopped with a rumble at Platform 9 ¾. Narcissa awoke from her stupor and glanced at Bellatrix, who was lying down snoring. She shook her sister out of her sleepiness and sighed.
"We better go." She said. Bellatrix rubbed her eyes, before performing a glamour charm to hide her messiness. It would not do well for a Black to look anything but perfect.
Campaspe's Black was waiting on the platform with her husband, Reterno and her sister, Dominia and her sister's husband, Orion. She was waiting for her daughters, not very pleased with the reports she had gotten from her nephew, Regulus. Her dark eyes scanned the platform as people screamed and hugged each other and she felt her lip curl at the sight of a couple of Muggle scum staring in wonder at their surroundings as their 1st year Mudblood daughter rushed up and hugged them. Stupid filthy freaks. They were the scum and tainted people of the Wizarding society. While she had refused to be branded, Lord Voldemort had earned her respect as he promised to remove the Ministry of Magic and start cleansing the world of these dirty bloods that just ruined the Wizarding society. However, her opinion of Voldemort had lowered this year. A sixteen-year-old boy had beaten him twice. Furthermore, a rumor had reached her from various contacts from within the school that he was not a pureblood. Such a thing was disgraceful, but if she had to choose between Lord Voldemort and Albus Dumbledore she would most definitely pick Voldemort. At least he had the right ideas.
Narcissa saw her mother and father and directed herself to them while tugging on Bellatrix's sleeve. She approached and her mother's eyes finally locked onto her form. Narcissa almost shivered and checked once more to see if the information that she hid was safely secured.
"Hello Mother." She greeted and bowed. Bellatrix followed suit before they both turned to their father and offered their hands. Orion kissed both knuckles and released them.
"We have many things to talk about." Campaspe said curtly. "Come."
Narcissa and Bellatrix flooed from the fireplace at Platform 9 ¾ and appeared in the ancestral home of the Black's. Sirius was already there and gave her a withering glare before stomping up the stairs angrily. A loud slam was heard as Sirius closed his door. Sirius and his Mum had not been getting on well ever since he had been sorted into Gryffindor. It had gotten worse when he had befriended James Potter, the son of an Auror couple that had killed and captured many Death Eaters and associates of the Black family. Things had just degraded from there and Bellatrix was sure that he was only a step away from being disowned and cast out of the house. It had happened when her older sister, Andromeda had married and fallen in love with a Muggle. The only reason why she wasn't dead was because she had fled the Magical world and was well hidden in the Muggle world. The Black's had very little contact with Muggles so they couldn't find George Bush if they were given directions to the white house, let alone Andromeda.
Dinner that night was tense. Bellatrix and Narcissa mainly stayed silent as the family talked about the rise of Muggleborns, the decline of the Pureblood powers and the extremist idea's of Voldemort that were praised and revered. As Narcissa picked her food, her Mother cleared her throat and the table fell silent.
"Narcissa, Bellatrix, I have heard very disturbing news about you two." She said sternly. Regulus sneered, though Sirius just remained Stoic as he usual did. Narcissa raised an eyebrow. "What news would that be Ma'am?" she asked.
"News that you have befriended a Mudblood and Muggle Lover. News that you have openly defied our Lord! News that you have disrespected other members of the Pureblood families! News that you have spent company in the Muggle Loving fool, Dumbledore! News that YOU HAVE LOST A MARRIAGE CONTRACT WITH THE LESTRANGE FAMILY, A VERY WELL RESPECTED PUREBLOOD FAMILY! NEWS THAT BECAUSE OF YOUR INTERFERENCE, 17 OF OUR BRETHEN HAVE BEEN CAPUTRED AND SEVERAL OF OUR LORD'S ATTACKS HAVE BEEN THWARTED WITH YOUR HELP! THAT NEWS!" Mrs. Black was shouting at the end, her face flushed and her eyes were flashing. She had risen and was clutching her cutlery tightly.
"I do not know what you mean." Bellatrix said respectfully. "We have only disrespected others as they have disrespected us. We had little choice but help in the attacks, and may I inform you that a Death Eater tried to kill Narcissa. The loss of contract with the Lestrange family is regrettable, but we have little need from those weak fools. They are a group of rabble with little brains that would only taint our family line."
"That may be very well so." Mrs. Black said icily, "But to befriend a Mudblood?"
"We have not befriended a Mudblood." Narcissa said while acting shocked. "The Mudblood is merely a friend of Harry's. We have little choice but to put up with her."
"That's not true!" Regulus shouted. "I've seen you talking to her and laughing with her even when that loser isn't around!"
"Do you not know of subtlety? Do you not know of cunning, slyness and manipulation? Pray, do tell me how you made it into such a respected house of Slytherin?" Narcissa narrowed her eyes. "I must act the part of a friend."
Bellatrix smirked and met her mother's dark eyes while she spoke to Regulus. "You would not be jealous dear cousin, would you? That we have befriended such a powerful person, one who could duel the Dark Lord to a stand stop, one who could inflict grave injuries in the Dark Lord's ranks? One that has power in two elements and is better well versed in the Dark Arts than anybody in this room? One that has the power of at least a High Sorcerer at the age of 16?"
Regulus flushed and opened his mouth when his Aunt silenced him with a look. He shrank back in his seat, disappointed. This was not how things were meant to be.
"A High Sorcerer? At 16?" Her mother said thoughtfully. "Tell me, does he have a relationship to anybody?"
Narcissa and Bellatrix shared a quick look with each other before Narcissa answered. "We believe that he was involved with that Mudblood Evans, but things have been tense between them lately."
"Mmm." Dominia said. "Regulus, why did you not inform of this boy's power and skill? He could be useful."
"I-I'm sorry Mother." Regulus stammered out. Sirius snickered softly at the look on his brother's face.
"Quiet You!" Orion shouted. He turned to his nieces and stared at them, appraising them. "So, you say to have befriend this boy because of his power?"
"If we are able to manipulate him and guide him to our ideals…" Bellatrix trailed off, leaving the rest unspoken. To have such a powerful wizard under their thumb…
"Continue what you are doing." Their father said. "I want him under control by next Christmas. I will see what I can do to arrange a marriage contract involving you Bellatrix. I heard that he has no guardians, I will see what I can do to take him in."
Narcissa and Bellatrix nodded loyally.
The holidays passed quickly as Narcissa and Bellatrix practiced their magic. The wards around the Black House were very powerful, powerful enough to block the signal from their wands from reaching the Ministry. But they weren't necessary; as Harry had kindly removed the charm juts before they had left. Their mother had looked pleased about that and Bellatrix thought that she might have liked Harry a tad bit more than she let on. Sirius had only stayed a few days before leaving for a trip for Romania after a huge fight with his mother. Regulus was also practicing his Dark Arts, but he was nowhere up to the standards of Bellatrix or Narcissa. So the holidays weren't too bad after all. But on Christmas day it all went wrong.
The entire Black family were all seated around the Living room. The children were opening the presents with an elegance rarely seen by boys and girls opening presents. Narcissa had received a very powerful Ice elemental crystal from Harry. Bellatrix had received a very handy book on the Dark Arts from him as well. They knew that these were cover gifts for their real gifts but were thankful anyway. When they had opened Lily's gifts, their mother had looked disgusted as they accepted them. Things were progressing all right when Narcissa and Bellatrix heard one of their Great Uncles talking.
"…Suspect the boys dead by now." He growled out, smoking a pipe.
"The Dark Lord never fails when he sets his mind to something. That Riddle kid's as good as dead. After all, the Dark Lord is taking care of it personally." Another one of their relatives had said.
Narcissa and Bellatrix stared at each other in horror. "No." Bellatrix whispered in horror. Narcissa stared, her face ashen and had quickly bolted from the room with Bellatrix following her.
"We have to warn him!" Bellatrix said in a rush as they reached their rooms and cast Silencing wards around them.
"I know!" Narcissa snapped as her mind raced. They had no owls; the Floo was monitored and couldn't be accessed without permission from the Black Patriarch.
"We have to go, now!" Bellatrix hissed.
"We need a plan before we rush in like Gryffindor!" Narcissa snapped.
"Fuck the plan! We need to help him!" Bellatrix cried out.
"Goddammit, we don't have time for rashness!" Narcissa said.
"WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS EITHER!" Bellatrix shouted as she jumped up.
"CALM YOURSELF BELLATRIX!" Narcissa hollered, her temper reaching breaking point.
"HOW THE FUCK CAN I BE CALM WHEN THE GUY I LOVE IS BEING KILLED!" Bellatrix yelled angrily.
"I LOVE HIM TOO SO DON'T USE THAT EXCUSE!" Narcissa shouted back. A silence filled the room as the two sisters regarded each other thoughtfully.
"So, you love Harry." Bellatrix stated.
Narcissa squirmed. "Well…I don't know if it's love but…" Narcissa sighed and looked wistful. "Makes me jealous of Lily."
"I know what you mean." Bellatrix sighed, "She seemed to take the news of being his Mother badly yet he still seems to like her."
Narcissa nodded, though the idea of incest was totally foreign to her. How did Muggleborns expect that two hundred and thirty six Pureblood families stayed Pure for over three thousand years?
"So, what do we do?" Bellatrix asked, having calmed down.
Narcissa looked thoughtful before her eyes lit up. "The knight bus!" she breathed.
Bellatrix looked ecstatic. "Let's go."
The two sisters crept downstairs, past the living room and were about to head out the door when a portrait woke up. The picture of Mrs. Black saw the girls and sensed out her magic. Fury rose within her as she sensed what they were doing.
"BLOOD TRAITORS! MUDBLOOD LOVERS AND FLITH FROM MY FLESH! ALLYING YOURSELF WITH MUDBLOODS AND HALFBREED!" Narcissa and Bellatrix jumped as a shrill voice boomed for the entire house to hear. Several thumps could be heard and a pattering of footsteps as the occupants in the next room heard the shouts of the portrait and came to investigate.
"Bellatrix! Narcissa! Where are you going?" Their mother asked with her eyes narrowed. Their Aunt was not as polite. After spending a few seconds conferring with her portrait she whirled around.
"You traitors!" she hissed.
"What do you mean Ma'am?" Narcissa asked elegantly.
"You're going to warn that brat." Their Aunt hissed. "And betray our Lord!"
"Is this true?" Their mother asked and took a step backwards when neither of the girls denied it. "Filth!"
Narcissa narrowed her eyes and opened the door. As she and Bellatrix walked out she heard her mother speak up. "If you leave, don't ever come back."
Bellatrix hesitated, before stepping forward and firmly planting her feet outside. Narcissa followed suit. The door slammed, leaving the two girls alone.
After a quick trip to Hogwarts, they had contacted some Auror's after speaking to Professor Dumbledore, (Who had asked them to call him Albus, then offered them a lemon drop with a twinkling eye). They were relieved when Harry and Lily walked into the hall, and were shocked at their appearances. They had changed a lot and Narcissa thought that they had finally gone through with some of the rituals Harry had always been talking about. Bellatrix was glad that they were all right and Narcissa almost smiled…(WOW!) but soon both heads turned to a new topic, how to tell Harry and Lily about their feelings.

There. Of course, I doubt anybody will turn back but at least I can say that I tried.
Narcissa and Bellatrix had been filled in on what had happened that day and the ritual Harry and Lily had performed. Needless to say that the Black sisters had been horrified. They were currently in the Chamber if Secrets.
"What have you done?" Bellatrix whispered.
"What?" Lily said. Harry said nothing, though his face was a little worried.
"You don't know?" Narcissa asked in disbelief.
"Know what?" Lily said, though her eyes narrowed at Harry, who looked a little sheepish.
"The consequences of performing dark rituals." Bellatrix said, her violet eyes shining with worry and anger.
"I think Harry forgot to tell me." Lily said and turned to Harry. Placing her hands on her hips, her emerald eyes flashed as she advanced on Harry. "Care to inform me?"
"Ahh…" Harry hesitated. At Lily's glare he sighed. "Well, rituals are a lot harder than I made them out to be. If I were one iota off, I would have died. But you wouldn't have, I was doing the ritual for you so I would have suffered the backlash."
"He's right." Narcissa said. "Rituals are very hard to complete. Most people try to use them to raise their own power and most either die or lose a part of themselves when the ritual is complete. You see, only the strongest of High Sorcerer's can use a ritual without fear of total annihilation. But they can still be shattered or back lashed by the magic if the ritual goes wrong."
"What's ironic is that to use power raising rituals, you need to be powerful to start off with. Kinda weird, eh?" Bellatrix added with humor.
"You could have been killed!" Lily shrieked and raised her hand, bringing it down quickly to slap Harry. Harry blinked, and suddenly everything sort of froze, Lily's hand was still moving but Harry's brain moved faster and that was saying something. Harry frowned, only to discover that his muscles in his face were moving slower. He sidestepped as Lily's hand whizzed slowly by and grabbed hold of it. His arm and leg muscles were moving slow as well, but his brain was apparently moving faster. Dizziness fell over Harry and when he blinked everything was moving fast again.
Lily still had her arm outstretched, trapped in Harry's firm grip. Her mouth was open in astonishment and a glance to the left showed that Narcissa and Bellatrix were similarly surprised. Harry let go of her arm and looked at his hand with a bemused expression.
"What was that?" Bellatrix spoke up. "And more importantly, can you teach me, please? I'll give you a lolly! And a rubber duck! I heard that they were rare Muggle devices!" she offered eagerly.
Harry blinked, Lily raised an eyebrow and Narcissa sighed. "Bellatrix, you are my sister and I love you dearly yet you can be an idiot sometimes."
"Idiot!" Bellatrix exclaimed. "At least I have a personality."
"I have a personality!" Narcissa shot back.
"Sure you do." Bellatrix smirked. "Like ice."
Narcissa growled softly in anger and flipped her hair over her shoulder. "At least I have an IQ above 40!"
"I am not dumb!" Bellatrix snapped.
"I never said you were." Narcissa replied smugly and Bellatrix snarled, her midnight blue hair whipping as she gestured her head towards the other two occupants in this room. "What are you laughing at!" she snapped.
"You." Lily answered and sniggered.
"Shut up Evans!" Bellatrix retorted.
"Make me!" Lily shot back and smirked. Bellatrix narrowed her purple eyes and grinned.
"Do I have to?" she said seductively.
"Maybe you do." Lily replied, a smile tugging at her lips.
Harry watched this exchange with a small look of bewilderment as his girlfriend and Mother, a odd pairing indeed and one of his only friends he trusted and someone who he had a small crush on…or not so small crush…flirt with each other while making innuendo's.
"Should I be bothered that my girlfriend is flirting with another woman, or be turned on?" he whispered to Narcissa.
Narcissa sniggered quietly. "Maybe a bit of both. Though I can't believe my sister is doing it as well."
"You going to join in? Cause that'll make my dreams come true." Harry smirked. Narcissa shot him a look of surprise before she smirked back and clambered in his lap. She ground her hips against him, her silky hair swaying over his face.
Lily and Bellatrix turned around in surprise as Narcissa climbed into Harry's lap while whispering things to him. Lily frowned, a little jealous.
"Oh don't stop. I was just getting used to having two beautiful women flirt." Harry complained. Lily's mouth dropped open and Bellatrix scowled.
"I was not flirting!" Lily cried out.
"We were not flirting!" Bellatrix exclaimed at the same time. They both looked at each other, before turning away, Lily with a small blush and Bellatrix with a tinge of red coloring her normally pale features.
"Yes you were." Narcissa said from her position on Harry's lap.
"Why are you on his lap?" Lily said and pursed her lips, a feeling of jealousy waking up in her. While she had never had sex with him before (They had restrained the urge to do it in the Chamber of Secrets, though they didn't know why) she was still very resentful of someone else touching him.
"There's plenty of room." Narcissa said. That statement that seemed so innocent spoke messages of volumes to Lily. Bellatrix didn't hesitated and walked over, curling up on Harry's left side. Harry looked at Lily and beckoned her. Lily hesitated.
She knew it. Her instincts hadn't been wrong. Narcissa and Bellatrix were both attracted to Harry, maybe even more if her empathy abilities were working right. So what would she do? True, she was extremely jealous and not happy at having to share her boyfriends. What if Harry decided that he didn't want her anymore? Lily was going to continue her train of thought when her mark grew warm. A wave of feelings washed over her, pleading, love, acceptance and more importantly, a strong sense of possessiveness. And Lily finally got what Harry had been trying to say. He wasn't going to let her go, no matter what. But would the other girls interfere.
Lily was staring at the ground, eyes unfocussed. Bellatrix cleared her throat. "Lily?" she asked in concern. She had felt a tug of attraction to the redhead the moment she had seen her as a 1st year. Bellatrix knew that she swung both ways and this hadn't disturbed her. But if she had told Lily…and the reaction of the Muggleborn at…what was it, Inkest, Incest? Bellatrix had been wary of showing her true feelings. But seeing Lily sitting there she stood and pulled out of Harry's grasp, who currently had his eyes closed and was concentrating, and Narcissa, who was touching Harry hesitantly, as if fearing an odd reaction.
Lily sat there, eyes unfocussed. She was jerked out of her thoughts when a small hand tugged on her shoulder. She looked up into the eyes of Bellatrix and instead of seeing the scorn she expected she saw acceptance.
"Come on, we're waiting." Bellatrix whispered. Lily smiled slowly and stood, wrapping her arms around the taller witch. Bellatrix tensed before hugging back. They turned back to see that Narcissa and Harry were kissing eagerly.
"Damn! They started without us." Bellatrix muttered. Turning to Lily she shrugged. "Oh well, I guess for now that it'll be only you and me."
Before Lily had a chance to process that statement, a pair of lips fell upon her own. She squeaked before a jolt of pleasure spread through her mouth and she moaned while kissing back. A heated passion arose from within the two witches and Lily almost fell over as her knees became weak. Bellatrix caught her and smiled. She kissed her again, lips meeting lips and a heat passion arose from within the two witches. Lily gasped as a tongue pressed against her mouth and she complied willingly.
Narcissa was still in Harry's lap, with him kissing small trailed down her pale neck. Every time his lips would touch her, a tingle of anticipation would run through her until she thought she would go crazy. She moaned in pleasure as one of his hands traced a pattern under her robes, his finger circling her shoulder before stroking downwards, fingers briefly flittering over her breasts. She growled impatiently and broke off the kiss. Twisting around so that she faced him, she put her hands on his shoulders and snarled. "Stop holding back! You're not going to hurt me and it's not like a virgin, so just let loose!" Her face was flushed, her hair unkempt and her eyes full of desire. Harry had no trouble fulfilling that request. He twisted her into his lap, making her face away again with his hardness grinding into her. His hand slipped into her robes again, this time moving a lot faster and more urgently while his other plunged into her silky long tresses, stroking and weaving though the pale blonde strands. His hand went straight for her breast and he mauled it roughly through the lacy material. Narcissa groaned out and he smirked, his eyes flashing silver. With a flick of his hand, her robes vanished, only to reappear neatly folded near a pillar.
"Nice." She said and grinned. Harry smirked. While many though he was a virgin, a few girls in his old time could definitely say he wasn't. He had lost his virginity in his third year to a sixth year Ravenclaw. He had continued that affair, secretly of course for a year until she graduated and he dated Cho. Cho was by all means a slut and he had slept with her several times, apparently being up to her standards. Clearing his mind, he looked towards Bellatrix and Lily and dropped his mouth in shock as he regarded the witched he had forgotten in his lust.
Bellatrix kissed Lily again, before trailing little butterfly kisses down her neck and onto her breasts. Both girls were naked, red hair and ebony tresses mixing as the girls touched and explored each other. When Bellatrix inserted a finger, Lily gasped.
"I...I've never done this before." She whispered shamefully. "To a guy or a girl."
Bellatrix smiled a genuine smile and her face lit up. "Not even Harry?"
"No." Lily admitted and hid her blushing face.
Bellatrix giggled. "Trust me, it hurts a little at first but it gets real good. When Harry's done, he'll show you. Narcissa seems to be enjoying it as well."
Lily smiled, glad that she didn't embarrass the 7th year. She glanced over at Harry only to find Narcissa and Harry watching her and Bellatrix. Narcissa seemed to be clad in only a blue lacy bra and a pair of panties and was enjoying Harry's hands as they wandered over her body.
"Having fun Lily?" Harry called out. Lily smiled.
"Yeah, you?"
Harry chuckled as he removed Narcissa's bra, his fingers running up and down her chest. "Not too bad. Don't get too worn out though, I have plans for you."
Lily snickered before gasping as Bellatrix's skilful fingers did their job.
Harry returned his attention over to Narcissa, who was gasping. Smirking, he removed her frilly underwear and vanished his clothes then turned her around.
"Ready?" he asked, his hands stroking her hair. Narcissa smirked, before releasing her grip on his shoulders and impaling herself. Harry moaned at the contact and Narcissa gasped loudly. Slowly, the two lovers began moving. Narcissa started moving up and down, with Harry holding her waist and releasing her once he lifted her just above the intended height. Narcissa would slam down, before bouncing back up from his lap like she was on a trampoline. Harry almost snickered at the thought of another use of trampolines before groaning as he saw Narcissa's chest as she bounced up. Damn, life was good!
The night went long as the four loves played with each other. Bellatrix preferred it on all fours, with Harry plunging into her from behind while tugging on her hair. Both of the Black sisters enjoyed being roughened and mauled. When it was Lily's turn, he went nice and slow while Narcissa and Bellatrix watched while they played with each other. Lily had been in pain at first, but she soon got over it and it wasn't long before she was done. She had laid back and watched as Bellatrix and Harry went at it again, her ankles around his head while he slammed into her roughly. Narcissa went next again and had screamed loudly in pleasure when Harry had tied her wrists to the bedpost and taken her loudly and roughly.
Harry slept, drained but content in his bed in the Chamber of Secrets. On his right, with her arm around him was Narcissa, her pale hair seemingly to glow beneath the blue flames he had conjured for light. Bellatrix on his left, seeking comfort from him like he was a teddy bear. Lily was on top of him, curled up. The girl's hairs met and wove, scarlet, pale blonde and dark ebony mixing and whirling to make the most beautiful color he had ever seen. He finally drifted to sleep.
A/N- I'm sorry if this offended anybody. I went through it and made sure that there were no offensive words being used for parts of the human anatomy. I also made sure it wasn't too graphic, so people can't complain that this chapter is too explicit. Hope you enjoy, and I hope I don't get banned. Good Night.
Chapter Fifty Two
Author's Notes: I know last chapter was a little rushed, but wait and see why that suddenly sprung on you. I'm going to write a sort of light-hearted couple of chapters now. Enjoy!
Harry stirred and yawned. Feeling something warm pressed against him and opening his eyes, he spotted a lump of red hair on top of him. He shot up, and looked around. A mop of pale blonde hair and a wave of shiny black hair surrounded him. His abrupt entrance to the world of the living had stirred the girls to wakefulness.
Narcissa opened her eyes and stared around.
Lily rubbed the sleep away and mumbled something incoherently, before gaping.
Bellatrix was already staring with a look of confusion on her face
And at all once, the three screamed.
"What the hell is going on?" Narcissa asked, her normally controlled features showing an utter look of bewilderment.
"Don't ask me." Bellatrix said and frowned. "Last thing I remember was…"
"You were lecturing us about Rituals." Lily supplied, and frowned as she tried to recall what had happened. "Then…"
"I don't like this." Harry said. He had conjured robes for everyone, and they were now sitting in a newly started fireplace in the Room of Requirement. As soon as they had gotten over the shock of being in bed together, the four had quickly gotten dressed and headed towards the room of requirement, as the Chamber of Secrets was a little too suspicious at this moment. When Narcissa had muttered the time charm, and the date had indicated that they were five days ahead of themselves, Harry had been very worried.
"So, we somehow lose five days and end up in bed together." Lily said, blushing. She had been a virgin one-minute, then this morning she had discovered that she was aching and there were drops of blood stained on her skin. She was very embarrassed about the entire thing.
"Do you think it was Imperious?" Narcissa asked.
"Nah, it doesn't work on me." Bellatrix said.
"Or me." Lily added.
"Same for me." Harry said. He was pacing the room, looking utterly confused. Was it Possession? He remembered that Ginny had lost track of days when she had been Possessed, but who could possess him here? It definitely wasn't Albus, who even if he wanted to possess Harry for some strange reason, couldn't. Albus was extremely good at Defence Against the Dark Arts with a score of 210, a level that Harry could only dream of. But his Dark Arts were a miserable 34. He didn't have the aptitude for the darker kinds of magic that involved possession.
"Well I guess that rules out that then." Narcissa said and frowned. Her blue eyes were unusually worried.
Harry suddenly stiffened as last nights events rushed back towards him. Judging by the expressions on the other three faces he guessed that they suddenly remembered as well.
"Shit!" Bellatrix said before appraising Lily shrewdly. "We did that?"
"And I had sex with all three of you?" Harry asked, confusion evident. Narcissa was going to glare at him before seeing that he was confused just like the rest of them.
"I don't like this." She said, echoing Harry's words.
"None of us do." Lily said. "I say we go see what Professor Dumbledore has to say."
"Good idea." Harry said. "If anyone knows what the hell is going on it'll be him. I'm certain he could tell us where we've been the last few days."
The four traveled down the corridor. At first nothing seemed to be wrong. The first sign of irregularity was a giant pom-pom hanging off a statue of Verlin the Insane. Harry had shrugged it aside as a harmless prank. Then Lily had spotted something unusual.
"Hey?" She said.
"Yeah?" Bellatrix questioned.
"What the hell is that?" Lily said, her eyebrows quirked as she pointed upwards. On the ceiling was a giant set of footprints, the kind of shoe that clowns use at circuses would only make that size footprint.
"It's a footprint." Harry said. "What the hell is going on?"
"Don't ask us." Narcissa grumbled.
Harry shrugged. "Maybe a prank?" he offered.
Lily scowled and nodded. "Probably Potter." She said scornfully before freezing and casting a look at Harry. Harry returned the look quizzically.
"Yeah, he is a bit of a dickhead." He agreed and Lily breathed in a sigh of relief.
"True." Narcissa commented. "But enough talking, let's go."
They spotted many other odd occurrences including one corridor that appeared to have been painted pink, a flight of stairs that had a large hole with a trampoline suspended above it, several portraits that appeared to be drunk with all of the giggling, burping and beer bottles that littered the canvas. Harry had wondered who would have spent the time and effort painting beer bottles just so paintings could drink. Also seen were dancing statues, four suits of armor that appeared to be trying…unsuccessfully to be having an orgy and a group of dogs playing Blackjack.
"Something really weird happened here." Bellatrix said as she took in the chaos. Even the Marauders had never done this many pranks before at such a large scale.
"You're telling me." Harry said grumpily. He was in a bad mood having been impaled on a suit of armor's sword that he had thrown aside before pouncing on another suit of obviously feminine armor. He was also wondering what the hell was going on. He was shaken out of his thoughts as he turned a corner treaded into something soft that had a terrible smell. He looked down and cried out in disgust at the huge lump of shit that his foot was currently in. He froze as he saw another lump of shit next to it and slowly lifted his head. The entire hallway, a very long hallway in fact was covered in shit. He flicked his wand and the shit disappeared from his shoe.
"Holy shit!" Lily said as she took in the huge piles of shit. Some barely came up their ankles; others spanned the corridors like mountains, looking too big to be able to fit into a corridor in the first place. There was shit as far as the eye can see. Harry noted a discarded sign and pointed it out.
"What's it say?" Bellatrix asked as Lily grabbed it and examined it.
Lily scowled angrily and said out loud. "Welcome to Shitland, population: Shit All, or All Shit. Beware of the shitbunnies and never travel into the darkness! This isn't funny!"
Bellatrix giggled. "Yes it is! I gotta tell ya, whoever did this had balls."
Harry nodded in agreement. "I shudder to what Albus will do to them. We better go."
"Another way?" Narcissa asked desperately as she took in the sight of the shit in disgust.
"This is the only way there." Harry said. He waved his wand and a blue dome circled his head. Instantly the smell ceased and Harry breathed in a huge breath of fresh air as his Bubblehead charm was cast. The other's followed suit, all casting the same spell.
"How are we meant to walk across?" Narcissa asked. "I'm not stepping in that stuff!"
Lily brightened. "I know a charm that will help!" she said and moved her wand
A pale yellow glow surrounded their shoes and when Harry took a tentative step forwards and smiled as his foot hovered several millimeter's off the ground. "Thanks Lily." He said gratefully.
"Yeah, thanks Lils." Bellatrix piped up.
"Nice work Lily." Narcissa complimented.
Lily ducked her head and blushed at the praise. "Thanks." She said softly.
"Well, let's go!" Bellatrix said and started skipping off. Harry rolled his eyes and followed the hyperactive girl leaving Narcissa and Lily alone.
"You know, if someone had told me last year that I would walking over a pile of shit while following my crush, who incidentally has three girls crushing after him which include my sister and his mother, I would have Avada Kedavra'd them on the spot." Narcissa said before tugging on Lily's hand as they followed their two friends.
The light began to fade as they traveled further within the shit pile. It was apparent that it was bigger than they had thought as the Mountains of shit rose above them. Soon Lily had to summon a ball of Holy light, to illuminate their paths.
"I got it!" Bellatrix said excitedly. "The big mountain is now called Mount Shit. The smallish one over there is Shitalot Peak and the mountain that kind of looks like a cat's arse I hereby dub Sir Shithead."
"Very funny Bellatrix" Lily said sarcastically.
"Thanks Lily." Bellatrix replied absently.
"I was being sarcastic!" Lily snapped.
"I know, and you really hurt my feelings. Can I have a kiss to make it feel better?" Bellatrix said and pressed herself close. The bubblehead charms shimmered when they cam in contact but they slipped through each other.
"Uh...I-I…um…er…" Lily stammered. Bellatrix smirked before kissing Lily, her tongue delving into the witch's mouth.
"Oh for God's sake, get a room!" Narcissa snapped. Bellatrix sighed but pushed back.
"Fine." She grumbled. "We'll finish this later Lily. And maybe Narcissa and Harry want to join as well."
Lily shook herself out of her stupor before wrapping an arm around Harry and grabbing his hand. Placing it on her breast, Harry could feel the erect nipple through her robes and began to feel himself go hard. "Harry gets first go." She said seductively. Then, shaking her head she jumped back as if she had been bitten. "What the hell was that?" she exclaimed.
Bellatrix seemed confused, before she frowned and took a startled gasp. "Why did I do that?" she questioned.
"What do you mean?" Narcissa asked worriedly.
"I felt…I felt as if I had no restraints, no cares in the world." Bellatrix said, eye wide open. Next to her Lily nodded.
"I though you said you were immune to the Imperious Curse?" Harry asked.
"I am!" Bellatrix said indigently.
Harry said nothing but waved his wand, it's end pointing at Lily and Bellatrix. A deep blue light seeped out and surrounded the girls, seemingly being absorbed into the girls. After a few seconds it had disappeared, the girls glowed a pale green.
"Well that's odd." Harry said. "You don't have the Imperious Curse on you, you have a memory charm and a charm that I don't recognize."
"A memory charm. I don't remember being put under one of those." Bellatrix said.
"That's the point Bellatrix, to not remember." Lily said and sighed. "Let's just get to the Headmaster's office."
The trip continued though it became so dark that Lily had to conjure several balls of light, just so they could see more than five meters away. Harry and Bellatrix had no problem seeing where to stand due to their Shadow Elemental abilities and they could sense the area about 10 meters away from it, but Lily and Narcissa had their wands shoot out powerful rays of lights. Every now and then Lily would shoot up red sparks that would illuminate the area in a tinge of red, before exploding in a flash of light that showed the landscape all around them. The last time she did this, Narcissa claimed to see a small speck on the horizon.
"When I find out who did this…" Lily grumbled, her eyes flashing in the dark. Harry nodded as well, his features flickering in the light.
They had arrived at the speck that Narcissa claimed to see twenty minutes later only to discover a small sign planted within the shit pile. If this hadn't been so amusing, Harry would have gagged at the sight of so much shit.
"It says…duck. Duck?" Narcissa questioned the signs sanity. Harry and Bellatrix suddenly stiffened as an object came within range of their sensors and unleashed a flying object towards them. Harry quickly dragged Narcissa and Lily down. As thud indicated that the thing had missed and he stood. He conjured a powerful glowing silver shield, and a splatter hit it. Harry looked and growled. This was shit, literally!
Lily snarled out and thrust out her hands. A blinding flash lit the area in a spectral of green and white and Harry saw several bunnies…made out of shit.
"Shitbunnies!" Bellatrix squeaked. She sent a lance of magic at them and smirked when they all exploded under the force of the dark purple spell. However her grin faded when they morphed back together. "You have got to be shitting me." She muttered.
"No, they are!" Narcissa snapped and conjured a gleaming piece of sharpened ice. She hurled it at a Shitbunny and it squealed as it was impaled onto it. Harry flicked his wand and a large jet of orange erupted from his wand. It belted into the Shitbunnies and exploded in a fireball of dark blue flames. When it cleared, there was nothing left.
"Wow! You seemed pissed." Bellatrix noted. Harry nodded curtly and started walking. He was indeed pissed. He didn't have time to be stuffing around in a fucking prank!
They emerged from the darkness a few minutes later quite unexpectedly. Harry blinked and turned around only to discover that the hallway was clear.
"What the fuck!" Lily exclaimed as she saw the hallway. It was normal.
"We didn't dream that, did we?" Bellatrix trailed off and scratched her head.
"Maybe an illusion?" Narcissa suggested.
"Who cares? There's Albus' office." Harry said and turned away. So did the rest of the group, but not before Lily's sharp eyes picked out a sign that had flecks of shit on it saying. 'Have a nice day!'
Harry came up to the stone Gargoyle. "Bugger" he muttered under his breath. Out loud he proclaimed. "Lemon drops"
Nothing Happened. "Err...Blood pops?" Still nothing. "Bloody hell"
"What's wrong?" Narcissa asked.
"I don't know the damn password." Harry exclaimed. A loud groan came from Bellatrix.
"It's usually a lolly of some sort." Harry offered.
Ten Minutes Later
"...Ice mice...FOR MERLINS SAKE MOVE YOUR STONE HIDE OUT OF THE WAY!" Bellatrix screamed, her violet eyes flashing. Lily snickered and Narcissa hid a smile. Harry and Bellatrix seemed to take it as a personal insult that the gargoyle wasn't moving.
"You want the password?" Harry snarled. "How's this for a password? You are a stupid piece of rubble, or maybe its All Gargoyles are the most ugly things that I have ever seen.
The Gargoyle sprang to life and Harry watched in disbelief. "You gotta be kidding me..."
"Don't tell me that worked." Lily said, amazed.
Suddenly a huge jet of flames sprang towards Harry who had just enough time to duck. The flames splashed harmlessly against the wall and Harry turned his eyes back to the gargoyle. If possible it looked amused. Harry wasn't.
"It tried to kill me!" Harry shouted.
"It did not." Lily said and rolled her eyes.
"It did!" Bellatrix cried out in Harry's defense. "Didn't you see its smirk?"
"It's an inanimate object for Merlin's sake!" Narcissa groaned.
"It's eyeballing me!" Bellatrix said and scampered back.
"That's it!" Harry growled. "Move, or I'll make you move."
The Gargoyle looked smug…if that was possible and Harry whipped out his wand. "Stand back." He instructed. The girls scampered back as he took ten paces away from the Gargoyle and spun around. "Last chance." Harry warned. The Gargoyle let loose another jet of flames from its nostrils and Harry flicked his wand. The Flames froze, and Harry dispelled them. "Well, don't say I didn't warn you."
"OBLIVERATO!" Harry boomed, and a large and bright beam of blue energy exploded from his wand. The Gargoyle shimmered, and when the curse hit it, a loud pop that sounded awfully like a cork being popped resonated and the curse changed directions towards Harry. But the Gargoyle didn't expect the reflected curse to be the reflected, reflected curse and in a wave of blue magic, it exploded in a bright flash. When the dust settled, all that was left was a Gargoyle head and loose rubble that led to the stairs of the Headmaster's office.
"You shouldn't have done that." Lily said tiredly.
"She's right." A voice said behind them and Harry whirled to stare at the figure of Albus Dumbledore.
"Fuck!" he cursed. Looking into the Headmaster's eyes he jerked his thumb towards the girls. "Er…they did it!"
