How has your time spent in Liuciela been? I hope the war against Wrighten hasn't affected you and mom, and I hope you two stay safe. I decided to go outside to try and make friends, so you can ease your concerns of me being lonely. P.S. I made a friend yesterday, her name is Evelyn.

Around half an hour after he wrote the letter the boy jogs down the wet sidewalk holding his letter in his right hand and an umbrella in the other keeping his brown hair dry.
(I think I'm lost… where was the post office?)
The rain pours harder, and a decent wind blows trying to take his umbrella away. The strong winds take his umbrella away, forcing him to try and find somewhere to wait out the storm, finally he finds an awning at the door of an old restaurant.
An old man with a thin layer of grey hair, stands behind the glass door. "Hey kid, come inside, it's cold out there. We'll treat you to a meal for free, uh... just tell others about this place." He closes his umbrella and shakes it a few times, before placing it into the umbrella holder.
"Thank you sir," Qiony barely manages to muster the courage to speak to this stranger. Sitting at a table for one, he watches the rain pour outside and his thoughts wander for a while before the sound of thunder snaps him back to reality.
In an unrealistic amount of time a different guy walks out of the kitchen with a tray of steaming food, fogging up his black circle rimmed glasses.
He sets the tray down onto the table and he walks away before Qiony could thank him for the free food. His gaze moves from Machi's back to the tray in front of him. On a plate is 2 pieces of fried chicken, next to it is a small bowl of fried rice with vegetables and small pieces of meat.
While waiting for the food to cool, Qiony looks around the decently decorated restaurant.
It only takes a few minutes before he is finally content with how much it cooled through frequent tests where he burned a bit of his mouth each time. Picking up a knife and fork, he separates a piece of the chicken which comes apart easily, and he stuffs it into the mouth.
(Why does this taste a bit bitter?)
Using his spoon, he eats a bit of the fried rice which is overly salted.
(Now that I think about it, this fried rice is also a bit bitter...)
Qiony watches the lightning strike outside of the window, hoping it calms soon but the pounding of the rain doesn't calm. After confirming it isn't calm enough to leave the warmth of the restaurant just yet, he continues eating.
His eyelids feel heavy and he yawns.
He blinks once and when he opens his eyes, the figures that were the kindly old man, and the chef approach him.
Then he opens his eyes a second time, the kind workers in the restaurant start dripping as if they were water.
Finally, he opens his eyes a third time. It's dark now, and he finally falls asleep.

Appearance - Shapeshifting creatures made of water, they can actively change colours and are intelligent enough to lay traps and use substances to take down prey

Information -Beasts created by the remnant calamity energy inside the sea, is strengthens by ⅕ every 1000 years until the era end. The weaker ones can't speak, but the strongers ones have enough spare energy to create sound.
