Chapter 1 - Prologue

Rain is either just dumb or just lucky to be alive as he fails to see the dire situation right in front of him. Luckily, he got dragged out of the room by someone… his vision blurred as he looks around the hall, blood splattering across the room, gnarls, twisting bones and cracking heads churn in a display so surreal a dramatic blend of green neon lights and blood, almost like a scene from a movie except he is about to be jumped by a half faced, one-eyed waiter rushing towards him. shutting his eyes in fear… immediately, he feels a pulling force that drags him out of the way. After a few seconds he opens them back only to notice that the waiter who wanted to attack him so vigorously, had completely ignored his existence. More scattered limbs fly around, sounds of scraping claws, screams and wails echo around the large ball room as they struggle to make it out of the building. The horrible scene around him is all Rain could focus on, not having an idea how his legs were moving or where he was running to just that he was being dragged out by someone. "Keep your eyes down and don't maintain eye contact" that voice… he looks towards his savior, the back of his head all he could see yet he recognized him in an instance… itsmilo. His thoughts muted as they reached the exit a blinding flash of light shining on them. Milo stops running immediately he cites an open car; releasing Rain's hand he opts to look for the key. Rain gasps as he stares at his hands and body now immersed in blood and grits of flesh, terrified by the sight his vision blurs and the quiet street transitions to a loud ringing noise in his head. His thoughts once centered on relief now focus on trying to stop breathing too fast. He was hyper-ventilating 'what the hell just happened?' the big question that plagued his mind quickly wiped as a pain so sharp it could cut through his heart, roared in his lungs it tugged and squeezed on his throat closing its air flow. "I'm dizzy…" timely, a brush of warmth fills his lungs as he felt a large jacket drape all over his shoulder covering him from the cold. He hadn't noticed until now, he left his jacket in the suite where he was just-

oh…

 "Breathe slowly rain,'

I almost  forgot…

"we're out now… I shut the gates" the assuring words from milo seemed to calm him down, he began breathing normally again.

The events recalled… so vivid, did my boyfriend just? 'are you okay?'

Did he really… take a chunky bite out of his mother's head?

sigh…. this doesn't make any sense,

Cringing his eye shut as bile threatened to form in his throat, the image so raw replayed itself…

'snap out of it we have to leave now'

holding back he tried to assess a more pressing issue… "You, why are you here and how did you...?" Milo grabs his hand cutting him off and leads him towards the car, hesitant he drags his hand back. "No, I'm not going anywhere with you!"
