Chapter 14 - The End of Tin Cans

"Damn it!" Obadiah roared, gripping Tony's hand tightly and suddenly exerting force. The Iron Monger's massive arm swung like a toy, flinging Tony away. Tony's body arced through the air and landed heavily on the ground not far away, making a dull thud. Sparks flew from the Iron Man armor, indicating Tony was in a very bad state.

Obadiah glared viciously at Dominic, then slowly controlled the Iron Monger to raise its shoulder. The massive armored shoulder instantly opened, revealing the heavy missile launcher hidden inside. The missiles were already aimed at Dominic, and the launch rack glowed red, ready to blast the arrogant intruder into pieces at any moment.

"You think you're so great?" Obadiah's voice was full of anger and contempt, carrying a cold, grinding edge, "No matter how strong you are, you can't withstand a missile bombardment! You'll die a terrible death with Stark!"

He slammed the launch button, and the missile launcher instantly spewed out huge flames. Several deadly missiles roared out with a deafening sound, heading straight for Dominic.

Facing the rapidly approaching missiles, Dominic showed no sign of panic. He still wore that arrogant smile on his face, as if the danger before him was completely insignificant. He tilted his head slightly, squinting his eyes, and a playful smile curved at the corner of his mouth, as if he was enjoying the thrill of this "game."

"Oh, missiles?" Dominic said dismissively, his voice laced with disdain and amusement, "Sorry, I thought you could come up with something more interesting."

He suddenly raised a hand lightly, a cold light flashing in his eyes. With a gentle wave of his finger, the missiles instantly froze in the air for a second, as if time was under his control. Then, Dominic's Cyclops vision erupted in dazzling red light again, instantly slashing across the air, hitting the missiles with pinpoint accuracy.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" The missiles exploded in the air, turning into balls of fire and thick smoke. The exploding debris scattered everywhere, but not even a single hair on Dominic was touched. He stood in place, his expression unchanged, as if all this was just a piece of cake.

"Oh god, how boring." Dominic shrugged, his eyes full of contempt and disdain, "Is that all you've got, tin can? Missiles aren't exactly new either." His voice was clearly sarcastic, as if he didn't take Obadiah's attack seriously at all.

Obadiah was consumed by rage, his eyes filled with disbelief and fury. He controlled the Iron Monger and charged towards Dominic, the massive steel arms crashing down like giant hammers. The Iron Monger's power was astonishing; the armor roared as it crushed the air, carrying the power to destroy everything, determined to smash Dominic into dust.

Dominic, however, remained completely at ease. He sighed softly, as if already bored by this, "Ah, it seems you really don't know how to make me happy, tin can."

Just as the Iron Monger's huge fist was about to strike him, Dominic suddenly flickered, his body disappearing from his original position like a ghost in an instant. The next second, he had appeared behind the Iron Monger. His speed was astonishingly fast, almost impossible to track.

"You know what?" Dominic stood behind the Iron Monger, saying lazily, his voice full of teasing and disdain, "I never need armor, because I myself am the invincible armor."

As soon as he finished speaking, his hands suddenly erupted with immense power. He grabbed the Iron Monger's armored back and effortlessly tore through the heavy steel shell. The sound of tearing metal echoed through the air. The Iron Monger's armor was like paper, instantly ripped apart by Dominic, revealing the complex mechanical structure inside.

Obadiah let out a terrified roar from the cockpit, trying to break free from Dominic's grasp, but it was too late. Dominic sneered, twisting his hands hard. The Iron Monger's armor was instantly dismantled into pieces by him. Huge steel components scattered everywhere, and the entire mech looked as if its lid had been directly ripped off.

"Wow, this feeling of forced demolition is really exhilarating." Dominic said playfully as he dismantled it, his face full of enjoyment, "Who needs a Rolex watch? Tearing apart tin cans with my bare hands is enough. Hehe, tearing apart a Gundam with my bare hands, brothers."

Obadiah was completely plunged into despair. His face was pale, and his eyes were filled with fear and helplessness. The Iron Monger had completely lost its combat capability; the broken armor was easily toyed with in Dominic's hands, like a pile of scrap metal.

"You... what kind of monster are you!" Obadiah shouted in terror, his voice trembling.

Dominic slowly walked towards Obadiah, still wearing that disdainful smile on his face, his eyes cold and sarcastic. He lowered his head slightly and said softly, "Monster? No, I'm just 'Superman'. And you, you're just a nobody."

After speaking, his eyes erupted with dazzling red light again. The Cyclops vision pierced directly through the Iron Monger's last defense. Obadiah's cockpit was instantly destroyed, and the sound of the explosion echoed in the night sky. The Iron Monger was completely reduced to a pile of wreckage.

"Sorry, game over." Dominic shrugged, turned casually, and walked away, his back view Chic and arrogant, as if all this was just part of his daily pastime.

"Hey... wait!" Coulson quickly called out to Dominic, who was about to leave, rushing towards him with a hint of tension and urgency. The surrounding smoke and dust hadn't completely dissipated, and the smell of gunpowder from the explosion filled the air. The scattered Iron Monger wreckage on the ground seemed to be recounting the fierce battle that had just taken place.

Dominic slowly turned his head, wearing that familiar lazy smile on his face. The corners of his mouth were slightly raised, his hands were in his pockets, and he looked indifferent. He raised an eyebrow, looking at the hurrying Coulson, his eyes clearly full of playfulness and disdain.

"Oh, Coulson, right?" Dominic's gaze was flippant, and a playful smile curved at the corner of his mouth, "Your makeup is pretty good. Look at those eyebrows, as dark as your secret files. How about you give me some black eyeliner sometime? At least I'd look cooler on camera, right?" He deliberately made a sarcastic joke about Coulson's appearance, his tone frivolous.

Coulson was stunned for a moment, and the expression on his face instantly became incredibly complex. He seemed to be used to Dominic's arrogance, but the scene before him still made him feel a sense of powerlessness. He wiped the cold sweat from his forehead with his hand, his voice slightly awkward: "Uh... you, you... killed Obadiah..."

Hearing this, Dominic showed a feigned look of surprise, raising an eyebrow slightly, his eyes full of strong sarcasm and disdain, as if he had heard a huge joke.

"Killed?" Dominic's tone was full of exaggeration and provocation. He slowly walked towards Coulson, his smile becoming more and more arrogant, "Buddy, I don't have time to care about the life and death of small fry. He's just a pile of junk in a tin can. If he's dead, he's dead. What's the big deal? You 'agents of justice' are always so sensitive about dead people... it's hilarious."

He paused, then his eyes suddenly turned cold, and his tone became even colder and more brutal, "You know what? Rules, morality... these things are just a joke to me. You think you can protect the World with laws and order? Wrong! This World only recognizes power, and I—" Dominic stretched out his hand, making an exaggerated gesture, pointing to himself, "—am that irresistible power."

Coulson stood in place, listening to Dominic's words, and an indescribable sense of powerlessness began to rise in his heart. Facing such a completely amoral, extremely narcissistic "Superman," he didn't even know how to respond. He felt a deep sense of helplessness, but as a member of S.H.I.E.L.D., he could only bite the bullet and face him.

He took a deep breath, forcing himself to remain calm, trying to calm the turmoil in his heart, then said in as steady a voice as possible: "Listen, Dominic... we at S.H.I.E.L.D. are here to protect the safety of the World, and you killing people so casually not only violates our principles but will also cause greater chaos. You are powerful, we know that, but you cannot do whatever you want like this. We need cooperation, not more destruction."

"Oh, cooperation?" Dominic scoffed, his tone clearly sarcastic, "You small fries always think you can control the situation. It's ridiculously naive. The World you protect is just barely maintained by so-called rules. And I..." He paused, his eyes becoming colder and more arrogant, "I don't need rules, I don't need restraints. This World will be under my control sooner or later, and you poor 'Guardians of justice' can only tremble at my feet."

"So..." Coulson was silent for a moment, finally only able to say in a low voice, his tone carrying a hint of helplessness and compromise, "What do you plan to do next?"

Dominic laughed, a laugh of utter arrogance, "Whatever I want to do, I'll do. Next time... maybe I'll tear down a few more buildings along the way? Who knows?" After saying that, he turned and left, leaving Coulson still standing in place.

Coulson watched Dominic's receding back, a deep sense of powerlessness welling up in his heart.
