Chapter 9 - Extreme Transformation

Over the past two months, the Azure Scaled Eagle mother would occasionally bring prey, significantly reducing the need for the Stone Village villagers to hunt.

The children were also diligently caring for the Azure Scaled Eagle chick while beginning to comprehend their Primal Treasure Techniques.

Long Xuan quickly understood the nature of these techniques. He then sat cross-legged beneath the Willow Deity, closing his eyes and concentrating on cultivating.

His breath was calm, as if merging with the surroundings, like a tranquil pool of water.

There were no unusual phenomena, making him appear ordinary and unremarkable.

Whoosh!

After a long time, he exhaled a breath of stagnant air. His still-youthful eyes, however, were bright and filled with wisdom.

He softly said to the Willow Deity, "Sister, I'm ready to take that step."

The Willow Deity's magnetic voice replied, "If you've chosen your path, then proceed. Even if you fail, I will protect your life."

Hearing the obvious disbelief in the tone, Long Xuan's lips twitched. He didn't say much, intending to prove himself with actions.

"Buzz!"

Long Xuan sat cross-legged again. Ancient runes began to appear on his body, which had previously shown no signs of anything special. They gradually outlined mysterious patterns, and the aura they emitted caused the void to vibrate.

His entire body was like it was cast from divine gold, and it slowly began to glow, resembling a young god.

Whoosh!

Like boiling water, the blood in his body began to surge, like a great river, flowing endlessly, with a shocking aura.

Blood Mobilization, as the name suggests, is to mobilize the blood throughout the body, and the most important part is the heart.

Long Xuan's heart, with each beat, emitted a thunderous roar.

With each beat, it carried the blood throughout his body, and the sound of the blood flowing became even more obvious.

Finally, he reached a limit. The blood and qi throughout his body peaked, surging like a human-shaped furnace, scorching the void. The runes on his skin slowly merged into his blood, transforming into divine radiance.

Invisible rune chains, which ordinary people couldn't see, tightly locked that bottleneck, preventing him from breaking through further.

Long Xuan had anticipated this. He mobilized the blood throughout his body, and the runes flowed, displaying a mysterious power, transforming into a series of sharp swords that pierced towards the chains.

The result was unexpected; not even a scratch appeared. Long Xuan was stunned. This was too stubborn.

Unwilling to give up, he tried many times without success, and his mood grew somewhat agitated. At that moment, the Star Essence Pearl, which had disappeared for a long time, suddenly appeared, emitting specks of starlight that captivated the senses.

When the starlight drifted towards Long Xuan, his mind became infinitely clearer. He knew the reason, but there was no time to think about anything else. Many ideas quickly passed through his mind.

When the Star Essence Pearl appeared, the Willow Deity had originally intended to intervene, but seeing the change, she withdrew in time. Feeling the Dao rhythm of the pearl, she realized it contained infinite Dao.

In that brief moment, many methods flashed through Long Xuan's mind, but only one had the greatest chance of success.

In order to break through, one must first destroy, and then rebuild. Break through that single point, using all the power of the bone inscriptions to forge a spear that pierces everything. Abandon everything and thrust directly at a single location.

Crack!

With a cracking sound, the spear, brimming with endless sharpness, shattered along with the chains, turning into intricate runes that merged into his body.

Under the influence of the primal runes, the residual blood within his body was forced out. Even so, that blood emitted a fragrant aroma and was extremely precious.

New blood, as vibrant as flames, was regenerated within him. It was a fiery red, brimming with vitality. The primal runes became even more mysterious, and the power within him began to grow significantly as the shackles broke.

The Star Essence Pearl also entered his body, and mysterious veins gradually wrapped around Long Xuan, encasing him in a cocoon. With each breath, the cocoon's light flickered, dimming and brightening.

Long Xuan was now immersed in his cultivation. The others in Stone Village were startled by the unusual phenomenon. The Willow Deity had only concealed Stone Village; the creatures outside could not see it, but the villagers could.

They came to inquire, "Great Spirit, what is happening here?"

The Willow Deity transmitted her voice, "Xiao Xuan is breaking through, causing this phenomenon. He is now undergoing his final transformation within the Cocoon."

The others relaxed, relieved that Long Xuan was alright.

Shi Hao, seeing how much stronger his brother had become, began to train relentlessly, pushing himself to the point of physical exhaustion every day.

The villagers felt sorry for the little guy, but they didn't stop him. After intense training, his physical strength gradually increased.

Every day, people came to the Willow Deity to check on the Cocoon, waiting to see when he would awaken.

Almost a month passed, and finally, Long Xuan showed signs of activity.

With a crack, the eggshell split open, transforming into divine light that nourished Stone Village, making the surrounding spiritual energy even more concentrated.

After his transformation, Long Xuan's blood Qi was vigorous, his skin glowed with a divine sheen, and his black hair was loose. Despite his youth, he was extremely handsome.

His closed eyes suddenly opened, revealing order runes. With each blink, his gaze shot out like a sharp sword, piercing through a boulder.

Ah!

He let out a long roar that echoed outwards like a tidal wave, turning all the surrounding stones into dust.

He stomped his foot and shot straight up into the sky, leaving the Willow Deity's protective range.

The sky began to gather a massive amount of dark clouds. It had been clear just moments before, but now the sky was overcast with thunder and lightning, a truly terrifying sight.

The dense flashes of lightning radiated destructive energy.

When a variable appeared in the world, the Heavenly Tribulation would descend, seeking to eliminate it.

The Willow Deity was also surprised. After the Ancient Immortal era, the Heavenly Tribulation had disappeared, only the most outstanding geniuses could trigger it.

The green branch emitted a soft, gentle light, enveloping Stone Village like a land of immortals, protecting it from the ravages of the thunder.

Myriad bolts of lightning struck down one after another, engulfing Long Xuan within them, making him invisible.

The Village Chief brought the villagers to the Willow Deity, and seeing the world-destroying scene, he asked in terror, "Great Deity, why is there such sudden lightning and thunder?"

"This is the heavenly tribulation caused by a person defying the heavens, breaking through the impossible."

The others saw Long Xuan enveloped by so much lightning, and their faces turned green with fear. If it were them, they would have been directly struck to ashes. They were all worried about Long Xuan, praying that he could safely overcome it.

The Willow Deity wasn't too nervous; she believed that this wouldn't be a problem for him. She also advised Shi Hao, "Xiao Hao, watch carefully; this will be very helpful for your future. When you make a significant breakthrough, you will also encounter such a situation."

Occasionally, lightning struck the Willow Deity, which she directly absorbed as nourishment.

Above the sky, while Long Xuan was resisting the lightning, he also had the leisure to take out various types of immortal gold and the broken True Dragon Horn.

The lightning struck his transformed flesh, causing almost no damage, only creating tiny wounds. Instead, the essence within was absorbed and utilized.

During the heavenly tribulation, Long Xuan wanted to forge his own weapon.

These materials were all difficult to obtain. Using the energy of the lightning, Long Xuan directly melted and recast them, imprinting them with Primal Treasure Technique runes, gradually forming a spear.

Faintly, one could see intermittent patterns, containing profound Dao and principles, the true meaning of which ordinary people could not understand in their entire lives.

Through the tempering of the lightning, Long Xuan's physical body became increasingly powerful, faintly emitting divine light, as if forged from divine gold. His body was strong and filled with a sense of power, making it the most perfect physique.

A full half-day passed before the Heavenly Tribulation dissipated.

Holding a mysterious spear in his hand, Long Xuan slowly floated down. Just the pressure from his physical body exuded a field of oppression. Long Xuan could now be considered a humanoid beast.

Seeing that the others were staring at him, he felt strange. Realizing he felt a chill, he looked in their direction and immediately blushed. He hastily pulled out a black robe and put it on. It turned out that his clothes had been directly struck to ashes.

Seeing that they were all worried about him, Long Xuan felt a warmth in his heart. He spoke to comfort them, "I'm fine. I feel great now. Sorry for making you worry."

The villagers all waved their hands, indicating that it was okay. Then they all went to do their own things. Before leaving, they invited him to come eat at their homes sometime.

After the villagers and the old Village Chief left, Long Xuan came to the Willow Deity.

After absorbing the scattered lightning, the Willow Deity also benefited, and her aura became more powerful. There were also a few more bulges on her trunk, ready to sprout new branches.
