"Hey — you people are being unreasonable. What if we want to stay and don't move? What are you going to do?" Kevin, who had been silently watching from the back, could no longer contain his anger. He stepped forward and shouted.
"I'm not going to do anything, but my darling will kill you," the obnoxious woman said with a smirk, which made everyone stare at her in shock.
"Hah. A bitch like you wouldn't dare. Don't you see we're from Light Academy? Do you think if you try to harm us you'll get away with it? We outnumber you. And judging by your age, you've been a ranker for a long time and you're still stuck in Tier 1 — truly trash," Blaze sneered. He thought they were bluffing, but his expression changed in the next moment.
The woman trembled with anger. She pointed at Blaze and shouted, "Make them regret coming here, darling."
"Sure," the burly man said. Suddenly his whole body radiated fierce killing intent, and he unleashed the power of a Tier-3 Ranker. Kevin, Olivia, Jasmine, and even Ruby's group watched in shock as their expressions went pale.
"Hey, hey — are you crazy? Are you seriously going to attack? Do you think if the academy finds out, you won't be hunted down like dogs?" Kevin shouted. The man seemed to hesitate at the words, but the arrogant woman only sneered.
"If we kill and burn your bodies, who would know it was us? This place has no rules. And who told you to come here without protection?" she said arrogantly, which only made the students' faces go darker.
"Damn, Tier 3!" Olivia gritted her pearly teeth and quickly mobilized her mana to use her spells when she saw the burly man pull out a club coated with purple lightning from his space ring and strike down toward Blaze. Blaze looked at the man in disbelief, frozen in shock as he felt death closing in. He hadn't expected them to act so recklessly, nor did he expect the bulky man to be Tier 3—otherwise, he would never have provoked them.

Olivia was the quickest to react, hurriedly casting one spell after another. A small and then a larger shield appeared in front of Blaze, while a white mist spread out to block the burly man's sight.
"Oh, a Rank G Ice Mist skill, a Rank E Ice Barrier, and you even used a Rank D Ice Wall skill," the burly man raised an eyebrow and glanced at Olivia—but his club didn't slow down.

Olivia's face paled when she saw her spells shatter uselessly. Blaze was terrified, convinced he was about to die as he saw the club still descending, when suddenly a golden barrier appeared in front of him, repelling the attack.
"Huh?" The man frowned at the sight and turned to see Ruby holding a small shield artifact she had activated just in time.
"A high-rank treasure," the man muttered, his frown deepening as anger flared in his eyes.
"Ruby!" Kevin, Blaze, and Jasmine shouted in relief when they noticed her intervention, but Olivia's brows only twitched.
"You crazy bastards!" Ruby shouted, cold sweat dripping down her forehead as she sensed the killing intent now directed toward her. She instantly regretted meddling, as her barrier skill was useless after using once and needed hours to recharge for another use.
"Who are you, bitch? You dare meddle in our affairs? Darling, kill this bitch first!" the woman shouted angrily. The burly man roared and leaped at Ruby, swinging his club toward her head.
'Damn,' Ruby cursed—but before the club could hit her, someone blocked it with their hand.
"Miss Amanda!" Kevin, Jasmine, and Blaze shouted in surprise and relief when they saw Amanda, but Ruby and Olivia's eyes were fixed on the other person.
"Victor…" Olivia mumbled in a daze.
"Victor." Ruby, on the other hand, lit up when she saw him.
The bulky man was in utter disbelief that someone had just stopped his powerful attack with only two fingers. Cold sweat broke out across his forehead.
T'his woman must be higher tier than I am,' the man swallowed hard, realizing how dangerous the situation was.
"You okay?" Amanda asked, looking at Ruby and Blaze. Both replied in a dazed manner—their lives had flashed before their eyes fee moments ago.
"Darling, what are you doing? Just because she's a beautiful woman doesn't mean you can just stare. Do you want to break up with me? Hurry and kill this new bitch!" the woman screamed, furious that the man had stopped his attack after being challenged by Amanda. Seeing Amanda—more beautiful than herself—only fueled her jealousy and urged her on.
'I can't even pull my axe away from his grasp! What is happening?! Damn it! And this dumb bitch has no idea of the gravity of our situation! …Wait, did they say Amanda?' the man cursed inwardly, finally realizing who the woman before him was. His clothes were drenched in sweat, and regret washed over him—for simping for this crazy woman and for choosing her in the first place. His face turned a deeper shade of red when he saw her next action, and he even had the urge to cleave her down himself.
"Forget it! It was a mistake to rely on you! I'll take care of them myself!"
The woman, full of arrogance, drew her sword and rushed forward, performing a sword technique.
Amanda looked at the charging woman coldly, her pupils faintly glowing red as the temperature around both the man and the woman spiked.
The man realized what was about to happen and shouted in panic, "No, wait—Arghhh!" He was about to plead when a burning sensation erupted from within his body.
"You bitch, di—Ahhhhhh!" The woman, thinking Amanda had frozen in fear, smirked smugly. But the next moment, extreme pain tore through her as her skin began to boil.
Within seconds, both the man and the woman were engulfed in flames, their screams cut short as they burned to ash.

Victor, Ruby, Olivia, and the others swallowed hard at the terrifying sight.
