As soon as Victor climbed to the top floor, the people who were on the stairs were directly teleported back to the ground, but no one reacted for a while as everyone was in a state of disbelief when they saw him reach the top. They did not snap out of their daze until a new set of text appeared on the screen.
[Ding Dong]
[Towerwide announcement]
[The Staircase of Wealth has been conquered]
['I am even more low profile' has cleared the Staircase of Wealth]
"Heavens, that person from the lowest floor has actually completed the Staircase of Wealth," said someone in a tone of disbelief.
"Damn, this event is going to shake the entire tower, and every faction will want to recruit him, while every evil ranker will hunt him down for the treasure," said another person.
"How come some ant from the lower floor did it?" said a ranker in frustration and anger.
"When they later learn he is from the lowest floor, they are going to get crazy and send people there to recruit him. If not successful, they will directly eliminate him. Whatever the reason, that guy will be the center of attention for the upcoming months," said another person.
Sarah, Leon, and Julian also appeared on the floor together. The most dumbfounded among them was Leon.
"How did that little shit do it?" Leon said as his jaw practically hit the floor and his eyeballs popped out of their sockets.
"Leon, get a grip on yourself," Sarah looked at Leon with a cold voice, and he immediately felt a chill and shut his mouth.
"Senior Julian, are you also going to recruit him for your faction?" Sarah asked with a frown.
"Yes, why are you worried? My faction is neutral, and many members of other factions are part of my organization," Julian said, to which Sarah relaxed.
"Honestly, I thought I would just recruit him and see if he was worthy of becoming my personal student and observe him first, but after this, I plan to directly take him as my disciple. I hope he accepts," Senior Julian said with a chuckle.
"What? You plan to take him as a student? You even rejected the top prodigies from our family and other top families?" Sarah said, and both she and Leon looked at Julian in disbelief.
"The so-called prodigies you mention don't have enough Sword Talent or a powerful Bloodline to make me take them as disciples," Senior Julian said with a snort of disdain. They did not dare say anything, as someone of his status would not lie, and then he continued, "But he not only has Sword Talent higher than mine but also a powerful Bloodline."
"What, he has higher talent than you?!" Butler Leon exclaimed, and even Sarah also looked at him in disbelief.
"Senior, if he has higher Sword Talent than you, who are the Sword Emperor and the leader of the Holy Knight Temple—the strongest Knight Bloodline user—doesn't that mean...?" Sarah said with a frown, her heart skipping a beat as she looked at Julian.
"Yes, he has the same talent as the founder , who became the first and only Sword God in history—whom everyone reveres and chases after—and the founder and first leader of the Holy Knight Temple. After him, no one has ever been able to become a Sword God," he said with melancholy, though his eyes lit up with fire. "Previously, I thought he only had talent and wasn't sure if his Bloodline was high-ranked enough, but now I think he has at least a Legendary Rank Bloodline."
Sarah and Leon's eyes shrank to the size of pinpricks as they heard Julian's subdued voice.
'I must have him join my faction before the others do. If he joins our Light Family, our faction will be the strongest once he reaches the top floor,' Sarah thought, looking up with extremely heated and dangerous eyes that made Leon step back slightly.
Swoosh
Bang Bang Bang
"What the hell?!" Sarah cursed as she felt a heavy pressure descend directly from the heavens, forcing her to her knees. She gritted her teeth as sweat fell from her forehead, and when she raised her head, she saw that Senior Julian was in the same state as her. Unlike them, many of the others fell flat on their faces, embedded into the ground, unable to move their bodies.
Zoom
"What the fuck is that?!" Butler Leon cursed, abandoning all decorum as he looked up and saw a beam of red light ascending directly from the top floor, shooting straight toward the sky.
Instantly, starting from the clouds, the entire sky turned blood red within seconds, causing everyone to frown.
'Just what is happening up there?' Sarah thought with a frown.

[???? is establishing bond with Irregular]
"Hmm, why am I here all of a sudden?" Victor looked with narrowed eyes as he found himself inside his mindspace, where the colossal Golden Tree was floating.
'Wait, I touched the sword unconsciously' Victor felt a chill run down his spine as he remembered how his mind had gone groggy, and how he had acted on instinct, touching the sword before suddenly appearing here.
Rumble Rumble
Just as he was wondering why he came here, the entire void shook, and his eyes widened when he saw planet-sized black chains descending from the heavens.
"!!!" Victor's eyes constricted when he saw a planet-sized shadowy figure controlling the chains, directing them toward him.
[Akasha Tree has detected ???? curse attacking the host]
[Akasha Tree is reacting]
Shing
Victor saw a gigantic golden leaf appear in front of him, blocking the chains as they slammed into it.
Boom
The entire void trembled as the chains were stopped by the enormous leaf, but to his horror, hundreds of thousands more planet-sized chains hurtled toward it. Victor felt a tremor in his heart—this was something straight out of Lovecraftian horror.
Woosh
Shriek
Golden light erupted from the Akasha Tree, and a beam of brilliance shot toward the shadowy figure, disintegrating all the chains before enveloping the shadow itself. It shrieked in agony before dissipating into nothingness within seconds.
[???? curse has been eliminated]
Shing
"What the..." Victor's eyes widened. Soon, a gigantic sword the size of a skyscraper appeared beside the tree, pitch black in color with glowing red lines running across it.
"Fufu, I did not expect such a scene upon waking after thousands of years," a seductive female voice whispered in his ear as arms wrapped around his body, and a soft weight pressed against his back.
