After touring the entire apartment, Sophia made a list of all the necessary items they will need; furniture, home appliances, kitchen appliances, electrical appliances, utensils, etc.
Double checking everything, they made their way to Starklight mall, one the biggest shopping plaza in the city.
Arriving there, they made they went to their first destination; to buys all the necessary furinshings for their home. Since Aria will be staying in the same room as Sophia, they decided to decorate only one room and a study and home office for them. The last room was going to be left as it was; bare for the time being.
Aria assisted or more like expressed her demands while choosing everything.
"No mom, not this. We need to buy a big bed for us, a vanity table and a huge closet that can fit both our clothes. Furthermore, our room is painted white so we need to buy everything in Beige, cream, or pastel. It will look good." Aria suggested Sophia excitedly.
Sophia actually didn't care much about such things. For her, any thing is fine as long as it served its purpose. But since Aria was so excited about it, she decided to go along with her.
"OK. We will do as you say. Now lets start selecting." Sophia told Aria as they both got busy, making their choices, wanting the best for their new house.
They spent the next two hours selecting everything they need for both the rooms.
Initially, Sophia was just going along with Aria, but as the time passed, she actually started to enjoy the process as well, suggesting new ideas, hand-picking everything herself with Aria.
Next, they moved towards the kitchen utensils. They spent half an hour there, single outing everything first-class for there kitchen; from pots and pan to spoons and forks, evrything thing they bought was top-class.
Their next destination was an electronic shop; where they bought all the appliances they needed; washing machine, iron, fridge, air conditioner and a separate mobile phone and laptop for Aria.
Sophia knew that soon she will have to work and Aria will be left alone at the apartment. She will need the phone to communicate with her daughter and incase of emergencies, wit will be really helpful. Moreover, when working she will need her laptop but since Aria also want to do investments, she will need a laptop as well. Sophia never wanted to slow down her daughter or put an end to her dreams. She was willing to do anything for her daughter.
Tired from their continous shopping spree, they made their way to the food court and had a late lunch.
Their shopping did not stop at it. After lunch, Sophia took Aria to buy alot of clothes with matching shoes and accessories for her. Picking out various styles of clothes amd shoes, she made Aria try them one by one choosing the ones which looked the best on her.
Aria intially was also enjoying her personal fashion show infront of her mother, but by they tie they reached the 10th dress, she was hell tired and exhausted from it.
"Mom thats enough clothes for now please. I am tired." Aria said, literally begging Sophia to her off.
"Ok. Ok. This is the last. You go change back till I pay the bill." Sophia agreed, chuckling in amusement as she looked at her tired but happy daughter.
Changing back into her clothes, Aria decided to explore till her mother came back. As she busy in her little adventure a dress caught her attention. Imagining Sophia in that dress, a huge smile appeared on her face as she called out the salesgiel near her,
"Excuse me big sister. Can you olease give me small size of this fress. I want to buy it for my mother." Aria requested politely to the salesgirl.
The salesgirl was initially very excited, thinking she got her first customer of the day, but when she turned around and saw Aria, her smile vanished completely as she scrowling, cursig her luck.
"What are doing here? This store belongs to a well known brand. Not evryone can afford clothes from here. Have you even seen yourself. Coming out alone and lying at such a small age, your parents haven't taught you anything. Get lost from here before I call the security. Leave." The salesgirl rudely replied.
Aria can feel herself boiling in anger, listening to the salesgirl words but she was also aware that she can't argue with her by herself; but that doesn't mean she will leave it as it was.
Reborn as a five years old, she had her own perks and privileges.
Aria blinked her eyes continously as tears started to gather, making her look completely pitiful and heart-rending. The salesgirl panicked as Aria had full-blown breakdown; sobbing grieviously as if she had lost everything and was about to die, arousing symapathy from everyone around; especially all the mothers there.
I mean, how can someone have the heart to make such a pretty and obedient little girl; beast, a monster she was.
Sophia also heard the wail. Realising that it belonged to Aria, she hurriedly ran towards the her daughter.
Reaching forwards, Sophia is astonished at the sight infront of her. Her precious daughter was wailing pitifully, breaking her heart into small pieces. She ran forward, kneeling infront of her daughter, embracing her tightly as if sheildingher from all the pain.
Tears started to fall down Sophia cheeks as well as she cuddled her daughter closer, patting her back, trying to calm her down.
All of this commotion and racket has attracted alot of attention of the passerby and the manager of the store as well.
"Don't cry. Look mommy is here. What happened princess? Tell me. Why are crying like this? Did someone say something to you? Tell mommy. you are my strong warrior princess right? Don't cry." Sophia said, trying to soothe her daughter in her embrace.
"Mom, I just saw that dress and thought it will look good on you and wanted to buy it for you. But when asked for your size in that dress, this bad auntie started to scold me, saying that i don't belong here and that mommy didn't teach me well." Aria sobbed reprehensibly, hugging her mother tighter as if afraid that she will disappear.
The passerby were also shocked listening about the salegirl's behavior towards a five years old.
"How can someone scold a pretty doll like her?"
"Exactly. Since someone ask her for something, as a salesgirl, she should provide it no matter what the other person is wearing."
"I never expected that the staff of such a well known brand will be like this. I will never shop anything from here."
"Me too."
"I will also tell my family and friends to not shop anythng from here."
The salesgirl face paled as she listening to all the conversation around her.
The manager obviously heard it as well. He can feel his face going all red from anger.
Stepping forward, he questioned the girl infront of everyone.
"Chole, what the hell is all of this? You should know that the first principle and rule hear is to respect the customer; regardless of their gender, age or anything. Every customer is a god for us. Is this how you should behave with customer?"
Chole panicked hearing the manager's words.
"Manager. I really didn't mean anything like that. Just look at her clothes. How can someone like her afford any of our clothes. She obviously is here to create troubles. I was afraid that she might destroy somethng so I asked her leave." Chole tried her best to explain herself.
Another salesgirl who was previously assisted Sophia, came forward.
"Mnager, this lady here is the mother of this girl. Just ten minutes back, she bought clothes, shoes and accessories worth 10,000$ for her daughter. How can she not afford any clothes here."
All the salesgirl in the store never liked Chole. She always covet the rich and bully the poor. She had also snatched many of their customers causing them to lose their commission. Now that they have a chance, they definitely won't leave it. The other salesgirl also joined.
"Yes manager. This is not the first time she has done something like this."
"Exactly. She also look down on everyone including our customers."
"Many of our old and new customers also left because of her."
They all continued to pour oil in the flames.
"Enough! No its not true. Manager, please listen to me." Chole pleaded in panick.
