Chapter 16 - Chapter 15: "The olive dine" and Noah Abson

laying down on the bed, Sophia brought Aria back into her as she caressed her soft and silky short hairs.

"You made me agree to your thoughts and ideas princess, but what is the actual plan. What business can we do?" Sophia asked; unconciously forgeting that she ws taking advices from her five years old daughter. Though, it is not entirely her fault. Since the day she got divorced, Aria had being covertly directing her and she was also following the path Aria laid with any questions or hesitancy.

"I actually haven't thought about yet. I thought it will take atleast a few more days to persuade you. Who would have thought you will agree so promptly." Aria chaffingly replied; poking her tongue at her mother as she grinned mischievously.

"You....!" Sophia playfully pointed at her as she jocularly pinched her tiny nose.

"Mommy, don't pinch my nose. It will grow out like Pinocchio and then, everyone will laugh at me." Aria said; hyperbolizing the fact as she make fun of her mother.

"OHH! So your nose will grow? Then let's fatten your smoach as well, should we?" Sophia declared as she started tickling Aria vigorously.

Both the mother-daughter bursted out into laughters and Aria tried to shake off Sophia's hand away from her.

"Mo..Mommy..hahahha,...No, pleae..hahahaha, Pleae stop, ...hahahha, I can't take it any more, hahahahhaaa, please stop mom." Aria shrieked; trying to protect herself from her mother's attack.

Finally having her fun at last, Sophia ultimately let go of Aria; pulling her into her arms and pat her back to calm her down.

Leaning into her mother's warm clasp, Aria breath heavily; trying calm herself down.

"Ok, enough jest for now. Lets sleep. We have to wake up early; Afterall, we will be shifting to our new house tomorrow." Sophia instructed Aria as she tucked her in the blanket; turning off the lamp beside her as both of them doze off to sleep.

...

The next morning,

Aria was sound asleep when she was jolted abruptly.

"Wake up princess. The sun is already shinning brightly high in the sky and you are still sleeping over here. We have check out of the hotel in an hour and also move into our new house. Wake up." Sophia said; trying wake up her sleeping beauty.

Aria initially groaned, kept tossing and turning in frustration but quickly jumped off the the as soon as she heard and remembered they are going to move into her new house.

"Mommy, why didn't you wake me up early. Ahh! Now I am going to be late. I have so much work to do. I have to get ready in my new dress, get a pretty hairstyle and even twin my clothes with you. OHH! I am gone be late." Aria fervidly said; running here and there, picking her clothes and rushing to the bathroom.

Sophia chuckled looking her daughter's endearing antics.

Shaking her head in amusement, Sophia got bak to her work.

After giishing their breakfast which Sophia had ordered beforehand, they left the room and checked out of the hotel.

Settling down in their pre-booked taxi, they made their way to their new home; their personal safe haven.

Soon, they reached Silvergate District.

Paying the fare, the got off the taxi and made their way to the eighth floor and then to their apartment.

Standing infront thr door of their apartment Sophia and Aria both could hardly control their anticipation and agerness.

This house was not just a place for them to stay, it was a symbol of their courage and victory over their past, their bond and love, their new beginings and letting go of ther past. This apartment is the proof of that comittments that made to each other in their hearts. This is their second step of victory from James and his abuse.

"Princess, come and open the door with your blessed hands and take your first step to your new prosperous life." Sophia said; urging Aria, her lucky charm to open the doors to their new life.

"NO mommy, we open it together. Afterall, it will be both our first step to our new prosperous life." Aria insisted instead; wanting her mother to be a part of that moment as well.

Sophia nodded; feeling blessed to have such a wonderful and sublime daughter.

Giving the keys of their new home; their new dreams to Aria; Sphia held the back of her hand as the mother-daughter pair opened the door.

The next ensuring hours drifted away with such bewildering swiftness that their passage went almost unnoticed by Sophia and Aria; cleansing the house, mopping the foor, putting away the clothes in the wadrobe, washing the utensils, clothes and curtain, in short tidying the entire house.

few hours later,

Sophia and Aria sighed as they threw themselves back on the bed; exhausted from all the chores.

"I am so exhausted mom. I can't even feel my arms amd feet." Aria whinned; worned out from helping Sophia in all the housechores.

"Me to princess." Sophia exhaled; completely agreeing to Aria's words. She herself was enervated from all the work.

"But it was no doubt fun." Both exclaimed at the same time; wanting to cheer the other person up.

Gazing into each other's eyes in stupefaction, both Sophia and Aria burst out laughing.

That is the bond of love; even when they themself were exhausted, they still wanted to exhilarate the other person up.

"Ok. Enough for the moment. Look at you, all covered in dirt and dust. Go and take a shower. Later we will go out for a celebration for our new home." Sophia ushered Aria as she herself got up and made herself busy again with all the remaining small task and then taking a bath herself.

An hour later, they were once again seated in a taxi as they made their way to a very famous restaurant which Sophia came to know about from her nighbour yesterday when she was synchronizing the house.

It was a small restaurant named "The olive dine", ran and managed by a middle aged couple, situated at the centre connected point between Silvergate District, the kinder-garden and the elementary school, the Financial District, malls and all the other place also within half an hour drive at max.

Just looking at the surrounding and the area, Aria could tell that the location of the restaurant was no doubt the very best in the city and in the new future it will definitely lead to alot of progress and prosperity.

The taxi stopped infront of a very busy, fully cowded restaurant; bustling with people of all age. Just by looking at the crowd, Aria could tell how amazing the food will be there. As they made they way to the entrance, a notice on the caught Aria's attention. The notice said that they the owners wanted to sell the restaurant as soon as possible and were willing to negotiate immediately if offered a reasonable price.

The notice left Aria completely bewildered and astonished. The business and the location were definitely good so why would anyone want to let go of it and sell it off.

Shrugging it off, Aria entered the restaurant with Sophia and settled down on a table. Aria patiently waited as Sophia went to order their food.

Aria was really perplexed at that moment. Ever since she had entered the restaurant, she had been smelling a very familiar aroma but can't recall when and where. She had definitely smelled this food aroma before, maybe in her previous life but she clearly remembered there was no such restaurant at that time when she moved into City B. Then why did that aroma felt so familiar to her.

Aria was still wondering all of that when Sophia returned.

"Wow. This place surely is illustrious. Just looking at the people, one can tell they are repeated customers. Now, I am really excited to try the food. It will no doubt be super delicious, don't you think so to, princess?" Sophia praised, clearly having high opinion and expectations for food.

Aria also nodded in peculiarity; stilling trying to recall and solve this particular mystery that had been bothering her.

"Order for table 48. Please come and collect it." A loud, familiar voice called out, leaving Aria completey stunned and exuberant.

She never thought she will ever again meet this person so soon in this life.

In her previous life, if there was any person for she felt really guilty and thankful for aside from Emily and Andrew, than it would definitely be this man; Noah Abson, the person who actually made her feel what a actual paternal effection felt like. Her campanion in pain and a very dear family to her.
