That day became the birth of a new beginning in Aria's life; filled with happiness and joy. Noah, Jenny and Henry became the family she never realised was missing. She started to spend more time with them, celebrating all the major events of her life with them instead of the Thomas family.
Despite the fact that Henry was actually 14 years older than her, Aria had the deepest and stongest bond with him. Henry unknowingly became her protector and defenderc, but more than that, he became an elder brother; an over-protctive, sister spoiling maniac who spoiled his baby sister to no end.
Being blacklisted by the J.A.N Franchise, the Thomas family faced a major backlash but even then Aria never brought her relationship with the Abson family infront of anyone; she just couldn't bring herself to do so. Maybe somewhere in her heart she knew that whatever that was happening with her was wrong but just didn't want to accept it but also made sure not even the shadow of the Thomas family cast upon anyone and anywhere near the Abson family.
They all warned her, tried to make her realise that the Thomas family was using her but she still stubbornly refused. She just couldn't bring herself to accept this truth. Somewhere in her heart, she wanted hold on this little hope that the her family won't betray her, won't stab her in her back.
Aria mocking laughed at herself, her stupidity. She really was a weak and feeable person who couldn't even stand up for herself.
Aria's came out of her dazed self as Sophia called her out.
"Pincess...princess, what wrong? Where are you lost? There is so much tasty and yummy food infront of you and you didn't even notice. What are you waiting gor, dive in." Sophia said, a little worried about her daughter's dazed melancholic expression just now.
Looking at her mother's worried face, Aria forcefully calmed herself and replied smilingly.
"It is nothing like that mom. All the food looks so delicious that I am confused and just wondering where to start?"
"Just that! You had me all worried for no reason. Now don't think nuch about and start eating." Sophia sighed in relief and started to serve the food in their place.
Biting onto such a familiar delicacy and tasting the familiar taste once again, Aria could feel her eyes welled up with tears but she couldn't let them fall infront of Sophia.
As she indulged herself into the familiar delicacies, Aria suddenly recalled the notice which had seen outside. She didn't recall hearing any of such incident ever from anyone. Even Henry who used to tell her everything never mentioned any of such event about their life.
'What could cause uncle Noah and auntie Jenny to sell their well established restaurant.' Aria wondered when suddenly a memory flashed in her eyes.
If she remembered correctly, Henry lost his left leg and became a handicap when he was 19 years old. Henry had once mentioned this incident to her when she asked him about it.
henry got into a terrible accident when he was 19; his bike crashed into a truck and was immediately sent to the hospital. All the nerves of the left leg were severely damaged and needed urgent operation but it required a large amount of money.
Uncle Noah and auntie Jenny tried their very best to come up with the money but by the time they collected it, it was already too late. Henry lost his left leg forever.
Connecting the dots between the past and the present, Aria quickly understood the entire situation. Uncle Noah was most likely selling the restaurant to gather money for Henry's operation.
Aria's face paled as she realised that her brother Henry was in danger. NO, she can't let that happen; not again in this lifetime. In this life, she must save Henry no matter what.
'But what should I do?' Aria wondered, her gaze wandering around as she tried to come up with a solution.
Just as she was pondering over what to do, a idea clicked her mind and she grinned. Turning towards Sophia, Aria excitedly exclaimed,
"Mom, I have the perfect business opportunity for you."
"Hmmm!? Already? So, what have you come up with this time?" Sophia asked; curious as well as shocked by her daughter's sudden changes.
"WHen we entered the restaurant, I saw a notice claiming that the owner wants to sell this restaurant. Why don't we buy it?" Aria excitedly told her idea.
The initially exhilarated Sophia felt as if someone has poured ice cold water over her dreams; her smile vanished of her face.
"why would we buy a restaurant and what will we even do with this place? You can't possibly expect me to become the chef, right? Even if I cook well, it can never match to actual chefs like the one who cooked this." Sophia exclaimed, pointing at the empty plates on the table between them.
"Oh my innocent mommy! I am not telling you to cook or something like that. Don't you realise, with such amazing skills, a perfect location and even traffic of such repeated customers, why would the owner want to sell such a great business off. It means that he is in dire need of money. We will not be investing in the property, we will instead invest on the chef, poach him by giving him benefits and start a restaurant business ourself." Aria explained her plan in detail; excited to the results of the plan she had in her mind.
In her previous life, it took Henry and his parents 15 years to finally make a name for themselves in the world but in this life, with her help, they could achieve the same in less than 10 years and maybe even have a much higher success. Furthermore, she will also be able to help her brother Henry.
Sophia fall into deep thoughts upon listening to Aria's words. Though a little immature, the idea no doubt is fantastic. If she could really make it happen, this will definitely be a great boost to their new life.
Aria also didn't interfere her mother, let her think it thorough before making her decision, though she knew that the chances of her mother agreeing are very high.
Pondering over it for more than half an hour, Sophia finally looked at her daughter infront of her and nodded in agreement.
"We can try to implement your idea." Sophia said; smiling brightly.
"Yay! Thank you mom." Aria bursted into joy as she thought about her brother Henry.
"You wait here princess. I will go and tell the owner about our plan to acquire the place. As for hiring him, we will negotiate it later when when we are alone." Sophia informed Aria before she excused herself, going to meet the owner.
Gazing at her mother's back, Aria's eyes shoned in determination. This time, evrything will be different and she will make sure of it.
A few moments later,Sophia returned with a huge smile on her face.
"The owner agreed to meet us. But we have to wait for an hour till the restaurant closes before he could talk to us." Sophia told as she took her seat back at the table. Aria nodded in acknowledgement as bith nother and daughter got lost in their own thoughts.
Time passed and soon all the guests left.
Both of straightened up as they gazed at Noah making his way towards them with a plate in his hands.
"My apologies for the delay and thankfullness for your wait. You cab enjoy some tea till my wife returns. SHe is on her way back. We can start our conversation as soon as she returns." Noah greets them as he put the plate on the table and settled himself down infront of the mother-daughter pair.
"Lets start with our introductions first. MY name is Noah Abson, the chef and the owner of this restaurant." Noah started the topic first while they waited for his wife.
"I am Sophia Wilson and this my daughter Aria Wilson." Sophia also introduce herself and Aria; picking up the cup infront of her.
Before they could discuss anything further, a woman entered; her expression and aura completely dejected and disconsolated but stilled trying to smile as she looked at everyone.
"This is my wife, Jenny Abson and Jenny they are the who I told about, Miss Sophia and Aria Wilson. They are the one who want to buy our restaruant" Noah made the introduction among everyone as they all settled down.
