Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: The Bully

The crowd went wild whistling. "Is she really going to fight", "They should have given her the first skinny guy", "Why is she in cosplay?", "Marry me" followed by a crowd of laughter

The orientation leader then looked at An Jian and said "I will let you wear your amour because we are gentlemen", An Jian nodded in thanks. She didn't actually want to take off her amour because she had simple robes underneath that could easily unwrap and bare her chest.

The crowd started talking among themselves "This fight is really happening", "He's tired now you can beat him", "Don't hurt my wife" follow by a crowd of laughter again.

The referee then looked to An Jian and asked "Do you have any fight experience"

An Jian said "I have won many battles in war" causing the referee to laugh in disbelief that she would be joking at a moment like this.

"Fight!"

An Jian stood across from Detective Cheng, unsure if she should attack, then Detective Cheng put his fingers in a time out position forming the letter "T" and said he forfeited the fight.

The crowd then clapped in agreement "Honorable man, I like him", "Well done"

A Chum Li Gang member with a mean look standing tall and fit like a kick boxer already in his fighting shorts came into the ring and threw a water bottle at the cage and yelled to the crowd hitting his chest "Is this a fucking joke, anyone who dares come into the ring better fight, I don't give a fuck who it is" he then looked to An Jian and spat on the floor.

This man was known for bullying his sparring partners and going too hard while sparring, punching with full force when they were supposed to be light sparring and not stopping when the opponent already gave up.

The crowd then booed him. "Get out of there asshole", "This guy's a bully, don't fight him, he never holds back","Stop the fight this guy is going to kill her"

Even the dance crew from outside had come into the warehouse to watch the recruits fight, yelled "You better not hurt our beautiful cosplayer" while all in sync each one putting their hands together like a heart shape for An Jian.

An Jian blushed and had to look away from them.

The man seeing the crowd go against him then said "I am the real hero here! Fighting me is safer than what she is going to face out there! This will teach her a lesson about coming here insulting us like this!"

Shang Min a big beefy muscular member of the dance crew already made his way to the entrance of the cage, ready to jump in and save An Jian at a moment's notice.

Detective Cheng observed the entire situation with his feelings jumping between confident An Jian would win and fear of the unknown. It was clear An Jian could take care of herself but then he had never seen her fight either, so anything could happen.

An Jian smiled and said "I agree, one must show one's potential to prove their worth on the battlefield to their comrades"

An Jian facing her challenger bowed looking down with one hand forward "Shall we begin"

Before the referee who stared at An Jian sympathetically could come between them to yell "Fight".

The man in the kickboxing shorts known as a bully leaped forward to punch An Jian while she was still looking down in the bow position.

However his punch completely missed as An Jian side stepped the punch and launched her forehead right into his nose.

The man fell to the ground holding his nose as blood started to drip down his mouth and face.

An Jian had only used a tiny bit of internal energy to form iron body at her forehead, it was actually the kick boxers own momentum hitting an unmovable An Jian that caused most of his own damage.

An Jian who was used to putting soldiers who bullied others in their place, smiled "I barely took one step forward, is the fight already over?"

The crowd was silent then exploded into cheers "Did she just win the fight?"

Shang Min who was ready to jump into the ring at a moments notice breath a sigh of relief.

The man holding his broken nose crooked to one side slammed his fist into the floor then with a roar, he straighten his broken nose putting it back in place.

He then leap again from the floor at An Jian with a punch, thinking An Jian somehow got lucky.

An Jian stepped to the side then with one hand deflected the punch and held onto the his arm at a perfect balancing point. If he moved forward he would topple over and if tried to pull back most of his weight was forward making it easy to hold him there frozen in place.

Just as he felt surprised by this, An Jian's other hand came up to his nose and flicked it like if flicking a pebble with one's middle finger, broke his nose for a second time, causing him to fall to the ground squealing in pain.

People who watched the fight couldn't tell if An Jian got really lucky or was really skilled as she barely took two steps and didn't throw a single punch but this man was squealing on the ground in pain.

The orientation leader seeing this asked An Jian to come down from the arena, realizing it could be bad for morale to have a girl beat up more of their members like this.

The dance crew yelled "Great Fight" and again made the heart sign with there two hands put together, which some in the crowd started to copy as well.

An Jian blushed and stepped down and stood beside Detective Cheng.

Detective Cheng looked at the red face girl beside him wondering is this the same girl that just beat up that bully in the ring without throwing a punch
