Chapter 25 - Nerina True Father

Nerina's POV

I let out a groan as a sharp headache struck me, causing my eyes to fly open. I immediately sat up in bed, and as I looked around, the memories of what had transpired flooded back to me.

I remembered everything, but I found myself in an unfamiliar room—a small space with just a wardrobe. Wait, what was that noise?

I quickly got to my feet and rushed to the window, throwing it open. My eyes widened as the sounds of vehicles filled the background while I stared at the familiar road below.

London.

I was back home. Glancing down at my attire, I noticed I was wearing jeans and a polo shirt. I had no idea how I ended up in these clothes, but I must have slept through the entire ride home. Tiana must have been really determined to get rid of me; I was now certain of that.

I hurried towards the door, but something caught my attention—a shiny envelope on the bedside table. I walked over to it and picked it up.
