After Nerina was confined to a cell, the alpha was extremely angry and focused on their brother, who needed to be urgently taken for surgery, leaving no room in their minds to think about the woman who had turned them down.
This situation frightened them, and their hearts ached from her rejection, even though she had not formally rejected them. The bond they shared still functioned, yet the thought of her rejection infuriated them, scared them,more hen anythign in their lives.
Even Sasha stood by her sons' side as they waited outside the ward. The only thing that could incapacitate a wolf, regardless of how strong they were, was wolf bane poison.
The men forcefully brought Zara in, who was injured from the rough treatment. She knelt before her Alphas with her head bowed, unwilling to meet their gaze.
"Look at me," Vlad commanded the frightened woman, who hesitantly raised her eyes to him, fear clearly visible in her expression.
