Clack, clack, clack!
Faced with the sudden attack, Tao Wen instinctively ducked his head, but he was still a half-beat too slow. Three stones struck his cheek.
A burning pain spread through him, making him feel as if someone had slapped him.
"Who!"
Tao Wen's heart filled with rage. He looked in the direction the stones had come from.
Whoosh!
A figure in the distance instantly plunged into the trees and disappeared, leaving only the rustling sound of footsteps.
"Looking for death!"
Tao Wen charged into the trees like a roaring cheetah.
He pushed his speed to the limit, gradually catching up to the figure.
Under the setting sun, he finally got a clear look at the person.
The man wore a black bodysuit, a black hat, and black shoes, concealing any identifying features. However, Tao Wen could tell it was a man, built powerfully, and he ran like a muscular antelope.
The man quickly emerged from the trees, into a bustling area, and continued to sprint at high speed.
Tao Wen could only keep chasing.
"Where is this place?"
After a while, the man in black stopped in front of a desolate building. The area was overgrown with weeds, and everything was filled with a sense of decay.
Especially the building itself, which was dozens of meters tall and covered in thick vines. Its crumbling exterior looked incredibly eerie.
It looked like an abandoned building from ages ago.
"Who, and why, lured me here?"
Tao Wen, filled with curiosity, hurried forward and charged into the building.
"Stop!"
Just as he entered the first floor, Tao Wen saw the figure stop in the center of the hall. The hall was remarkably empty, with cracked concrete floors and spiderwebs everywhere.
Some tenacious weeds had even sprouted from the concrete.
He was particularly surprised to find there was no passage to the second floor, which brightened his eyes. He could completely trap the person.
He immediately rushed toward the figure, intending to teach this unknown person a lesson about littering.
"Not good!"
Just as he'd charged out less than two meters, a sound came from the ground he was stepping on, and a dangerous aura rushed towards him, causing him to exclaim in his heart.
He rolled violently to the right, tumbling three meters away.
Boom!
The instant he left, a dark hole appeared in the ground where he had been, and a metal spike fell from above, plunging straight into the hole.

Seeing this trap fail, the black figure didn't stay any longer. He quickly charged towards a wall, and with a few leaps, climbed up the wall and rushed to the second floor.
"You're really asking for it! When I catch you, I'll definitely tear your mouth off!"
Looking at the black hole, Tao Wen's anger flared up, surging to his head. He roared and furiously charged towards the wall.
As he got closer to the wall, he noticed several hidden recesses. The person had used these to climb to the second floor. Tao Wen immediately jumped, using the recesses to ascend as well.
The second floor was also empty, devoid of any partitions or objects.
The person was also nowhere to be seen.
Which wall did he go up?
Tao Wen scanned the area, looking upwards towards the ceiling. He immediately spotted a hole not far away.
"Follow him!"
He immediately sprinted in that direction, not wanting to lose him.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Just as he reached the wall and prepared to climb, several sounds of air being torn apart suddenly echoed through the air.
A sharp whistling sound made Tao Wen's scalp tingle.
Without thinking, he rolled backwards.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Three black arrows, glowing with red light, landed furiously where he had been moments before. They exploded, filling the air with smoke. The solid concrete ground was shattered, breaking into pieces that scattered in all directions.
The fragments of the ground splashed onto Tao Wen, causing him a slight pain.
"It's him!"
In that instant, Tao Wen finally saw who the black-clad figure was.
It was none other than Hawkeye Barton!
This guy was here for revenge!
From the third floor, Barton's gaze was ice-cold, like Hawkeye's, radiating a chilling intensity.
When he realized he'd missed Tao Wen, Barton grabbed another arrow and took aim.
"Not good!"
Seeing the red light flickering on the arrow, a strong sense of danger instantly filled Tao Wen's heart. He felt a strong threat emanating from it.
He couldn't help but shout, and rolled towards the corner without hesitation.
Swoosh. Boom!!!
The arrow shot out in an instant, terrifying, like a dragon emerging from the water.
Tao Wen had only rolled half a meter when the arrow struck the ground.
Terrifying red light instantly enveloped the entire area; an explosion erupted in an instant, and the raging energy blasted a huge hole into the ground.
Energy also fell crazily onto Tao Wen's body.
Under this terrifying force, Tao Wen's body slammed into the wall, creating a sizable dent.
Then, he collapsed to the ground and passed out.
Swoosh, swoosh!
Barton jumped down from the third floor. Looking at the unconscious Tao Wen, he cautiously took out two ordinary arrow feathers again and shot them at Tao Wen's chest and arm.
Clap, clap.
The two arrow feathers landed steadily on the chest and arm, but after making two crisp sounds, they bounced off to the side.
"Such a tough body."
Barton's eyes flashed with a hint of helplessness. He frowned and took a rope from his backpack, then strode towards Tao Wen.
"Let me show you what I can do."
Barton said coldly, tying a knot in the rope.
Being knocked unconscious in public last time had become a constant source of pain for Barton.
He had deliberately taken two days off to lower Tao Wen's guard and then gone to some special places to buy arrows and set up the current trap. Obviously, it had all been successful.
Before this, he had already planned to strip Tao Wen naked, hang him on the street with the rope, and make him feel utterly humiliated!

"Fall!"
A strong sense of weightlessness followed, and Barton was slammed heavily onto the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.
"Escape!"
Without hesitation, Barton began to roll, attempting to flee.
However, as he rolled, he found his chest pinned down by Tao Wen's right foot, unable to move. Looking up, he saw a cold glint in Tao Wen's fiery eyes.
