Sebastian entered the rented inn and saw a few workers scrubbing the floor. He went straight to the room Leon was said to be staying in and froze the moment he opened the door.
Young master Leon was wrapped from head to toe in bandages.
"Young master, what happened?" Sebastian asked, still stunned from his long journey back.
"This is just a minor wound. Thanks to Umbros, my healing speed has improved," I said calmly. It seemed I did gain some sort of superpower, but in this world, that kind of thing was common. Probably because of Mana.
This world still had science and physics, but what set it apart from mine was the existence of Mana in the air. Humans looked the same, but inside their bodies were special channels where Mana flowed. So quick healing and magic were everyday things here.
"Umbros?"
"Forget about that. How's the Pyraxium mine?"
Sebastian still looked worried, but he took out several reddish-yellow stones. Pyraxium. It was strange seeing it in such vivid detail when I was used to its pixel form in the game.
"Pyraxium... I can't believe you were right," Sebastian said.
"You doubted me?" I asked, grinning. He stiffened immediately. I understood why, he followed me because it was his duty. I placed the Pyraxium back on the table.
"With this, Nox will not be able to escape us," I said, smiling slyly.
In the game, there was a quest where Arthur had to craft various equipment from Pyraxium. After thousands of playthroughs, I knew where the richest deposit was located, and it just happened to be at Higrid Hill, a place with an infinite mining bug. That was why I told Sebastian to start digging there.
"Are you planning to forge weapons from this? You know you are not that great with weapons, right?"
"What kind of servant doubts his master?" Umbros' voice echoed suddenly as he appeared in the room.Sebastian jumped and drew his knife, completely pointless since a spirit could not be killed without pure magic.
"Even with my power, Leon is not that great. Honestly, he is the weakest human I have ever met. But perhaps that is exactly why Camelo sealed most of my strength, to prevent chaos from consuming everything," said Umbros.
Wait. Did you just insult me or praise me? Hey Umbros, I am still your new master here.
"Umbros... that name... from the legend of the Hanz War? How... no, that cannot be. Who are you, young master? Are you really the same person I served last week?" Sebastian asked nervously.
I knew it. Sooner or later, he was bound to ask that question. Time for a little trick.
"The truth is, I am a reincarnated hero. I only recently regained my memories, so Sebastian, I need your help," I said seriously, covering one eye dramatically.
"Ah, so you are still yourself," Sebastian said flatly.
Heh. That figured. One of the main reasons Leon was so hated was because of his ridiculous delusions. He used to pretend to be a knight rescuing a princess or a chosen hero of prophecy. Since there was no concept of chuunibyou in this world, Leon was basically the only one acting like that.
"Anyway, do not worry about it. Everything I am doing is for the peace of mankind. Sure, it might look like I am chasing profit, but the goal is noble," I said. Sebastian only smiled and nodded.
"Back to business. We will send one shipment of Pyraxium ore and have them forge a full armor set."
"What are you planning to do with it?"
"Start a company, of course," I said.
Sebastian looked completely shocked.
"A c-company? Under your name, young master?"
"No. It will be under your name, but I will be the one leading it," I replied. His mouth fell open in disbelief.
"W-why would you do that?"
"First, because you are the person I trust most. Second, if the Moriet family learns I am running a business, they will try to take control of it. And lastly, I will soon be entering the academy. I will not have time to manage the company myself. So, Sebastian, can I count on you?"
Well, the real reason was simple. I did not want to drown in paperwork again. That was already my daily nightmare in the real world.
"I will do my best," Sebastian said firmly.
"Good. Handle everything with Nox. Keep him safe. He is the only one who knows how to forge Pyraxium properly. Also, find a good location for the company, somewhere away from the big ones. We do not want unnecessary pressure or attention," I said, standing up.
I had been away from the Moriet estate for three days already. It would be dangerous if they discovered where I was.
"For the next step, wait until the armor set is done and send me a letter," I said before leaving the room.
From here on, I could leave everything to Sebastian. Now, I needed to focus on one thing: surviving the academy entrance trial.
That was the game's prologue. And I still remembered clearly, it was never as easy as a tutorial.
