"Looks like I arrived just in time."
Green Arrow's expression shifted slightly, and he revealed a faint smile.
The newcomer was Anton's clone.
At this moment, his real body had already returned home; he was using the Green Arrow clone to arrive at the Osborn estate.
After promising Norman that he would look after Harry, Anton carefully analyzed Harry's current situation and discovered it was even more troublesome than he expected—and that Harry was on the brink of danger.
So he contacted the High Table.
Through their intelligence network, Anton obtained more information.
Among it was the agreement between Hammer Industries and the military: they planned to eliminate OsCorp's private armed forces and force Harry to back down.
Harry might very well "have an accident" in this assault.
Which was why Anton arrived at the perfect moment.
"Are those Hammer's people?"
The Green Arrow clone spotted figures outside the Osborn estate, rapidly closing in.
Inside the estate, OsCorp's security forces were already on high alert.
He knew—this was likely the decisive moment Harry was facing.
"Attack!"
The Hammer Industries operatives exchanged a look. Seeing that OsCorp's guards had already noticed them, they stopped hiding and drew their weapons, ready to overwhelm with firepower.
Cromwell immediately commanded his men to counterattack.
Boom! The high walls of the Osborn estate were instantly riddled with holes.
Pit after pit was blasted open, nearly tearing through the wall entirely as debris exploded in all directions.
Worse yet, Hammer's forces were equipped with incendiary grenades, quickly turning the estate interior into a sea of flames. OsCorp's armed guards were caught off guard and suffered heavy losses.
Inside the estate — underground safe room.
Harry stared at the surveillance screens, his anxiety rapidly escalating.
What little confidence he had left was almost gone.
The current dire situation made it nearly impossible for him to imagine surviving this open assault.
Harry's expression was tight, his heart uneasy.
Suddenly—
The image on the monitors changed in a shocking instant.
Whoosh!!
An arrow tore through the darkness, streaking across the screen like lightning, and pierced the throat of a Hammer Industries thug who had already breached the estate.
"Guhhh!!"
The thug's eyes bulged, his trachea and vertebrae pierced clean through. He let out a strangled, broken noise as the force of the arrow knocked him backward.
"Hm?"
The leader of the Hammer unit caught sight of this and frowned, looking toward the darkness where the arrow had come from.
But to his surprise, arrows from the darkness only grew more numerous—falling like a torrential downpour, dense beyond belief.
Boom! Some arrows exploded upon being blocked.
Flames engulfed him and several comrades nearby. In an instant, his entire body charred black—lifeless.
"Who is it?!"
The Hammer unit leader roared angrily.
"Find cover!!"
Seeing his men dying one after another to the unseen archer, he ordered them to halt and retreated behind a rock formation, peering through the cracks, desperately searching for the hidden reaper in the darkness.
Meanwhile, OsCorp's forces were stunned.
Even Harry in the safe room was staring wide-eyed.
None of them knew who this unseen master archer was.
Such a powerful ally—yet they had never even heard of him.
Cromwell recalled his overseas missions. Back then, he had heard rumors of a certain archer—called a god of death.
This mysterious figure was said to belong to a secret organization. Every mission resulted in casualties; he had never once failed. Wherever he went, gods and buddhas alike fell before him.
Almost no one who had witnessed him in action lived to tell the tale.
Just like the legendary "Winter Soldier."
Only a handful of people in the world even knew this assassin existed—he was a ghost, striking across decades, each time claiming another "high-ranking target."
If Cromwell hadn't had exceptionally wide intelligence sources, he wouldn't have known of him at all.
"That man they called 'Hawkeye'?"
Watching arrow after arrow fly—seemingly endless—he couldn't help but whisper:"Could it actually be him?"
On the other side—
The Hammer unit leader was furious.
"Stay down! Look for a chance to counterattack."
He grit his teeth."I don't believe this bastard has infinite arrows!"
No sooner had he spoken—
The arrows suddenly stopped.
The sharp, relentless whistling sounds vanished entirely.
The leader grinned viciously.
"Kill!"
He seized the moment, waving his hand and ordering the charge.
Bang bang bang bang!
Bullets flew wildly, casings clattering on the ground.
Cromwell shook off his thoughts and continued exchanging fire.
Whoosh! No one expected that from the darkness would come one final arrow.
Just as the leader predicted—the Green Arrow clone indeed didn't have unlimited arrows unless within a hundred meters of Anton's real body, who at the moment was sitting at home watching this "slaughter show."
However, the clone had timed everything perfectly—saving exactly one arrow.
For this exposed Hammer unit leader.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh! The deadly whistling returned.
A chilling prelude to death.
Terror rippled through the remaining enemies—they knew too well what these arrows meant.
Thud!!
The final arrow descended like thunder, piercing through the Hammer leader's throat.
It went straight through—front to back—and embedded itself into the rock behind him.
The arrow quivered like a rattlesnake's tail.
"Guhhh!"
Clutching his throat, unable to form a complete word, the leader collapsed against the rock, sliding down lifelessly.
"Wh…who…?"
His dying words were barely intelligible, yet clear enough for all to understand.
"Who… are… you?"
His final question echoed everyone's thoughts.
Not just the Hammer forces—the OsCorp men also desperately wanted to know who this deadly savior was.
But the one most curious was Harry, hiding in the underground safe room.
Harry never imagined someone would come tonight to save him from certain disaster.
Could it be one of his father Norman Osborn's hidden arrangements?
Not impossible.
Tap tap tap!Footsteps approached.
In the dead silence of the battlefield, the man finally emerged from the darkness.
He had no choice—his quiver was empty.
Still—
With the battle nearly over, it didn't matter if he showed himself.
And even without the Green Arrow clone, the remaining Hammer soldiers wouldn't last long.
"Hawkeye?!"
Cromwell gasped.
The descriptions he'd heard—aside from the colors—matched this man perfectly.
"Hawkeye?"
The man in green armor let out a cold laugh and turned to face him.
A chill ran down Cromwell's spine. Beneath the mask that covered his eyes, the man's gaze was filled with disdain—as if Cromwell had gravely insulted him.
"My name is Green Arrow."
Green Arrow?!Who was that?
Neither Cromwell nor the Hammer soldiers had ever heard this name.
In the underground safe room—
Harry froze upon hearing it, the name striking him as familiar. Then his eyes widened as he recalled the ambitious cinematic plan Anton once proposed when Harry invested in the DC film project.
Suddenly, everything made sense.
Batman! There was no doubt—this Green Arrow had been sent by Batman!
