Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 – Bibi Dong: Nonsense! Keep Your Hands to Yourself

I already washed.

Su Linfeng spoke with complete confidence, casually tossing aside his outer robe before pulling the blanket over himself, ready to sleep.

He was simply exhausted.

Helping Bibi Dong suppress the Rakshasa's aura had pushed him past his limits. His spirit power was not merely depleted; even his spiritual strength had been strained to the point of overload.

Spirit power could be replenished. But spiritual strength required rest and recovery.

Seeing that he truly was drained, Bibi Dong didn't press him further. After finishing the roasted fish in her hands, she tidied up a bit before lying down herself.

Not long after—

In his drowsy half-sleep, Su Linfeng turned over and instinctively pulled her into his arms.

Bibi Dong's entire body trembled. Then she heard his sleepy mumble:

"Elder Sister, you cried just now… I think it was because of me."

"Nonsense!"

Her brows knitted, and her cheeks flushed red. She scolded in a low, flustered voice, "You little brat—keep your hands still!"

But before she could finish, Su Linfeng's steady breathing turned into soft snores. Clearly, he had fallen fast asleep.

Bibi Dong couldn't help but laugh softly.

She wrapped one arm gently around his body, leaning against the bedframe as she gazed at the bright moon above Spirit City outside the window.

It had been ten years.

And for the first time in a decade, the moon over Spirit City looked full and beautiful again.

Tomorrow.

Before Qian Daoliu came knocking, she would send this brat back to Star Dou Great Forest. Whatever came after, she would face it alone.

As for his hundred-thousand-year spirit ring, spirit bone, or mismatched attributes—she no longer cared for them.

She didn't know how long had passed.

But before she realized it, she too drifted off to sleep. And that night was the first in ten years where she slept soundly, without a single nightmare.

At dawn—

The first light tinged the eastern sky pale.

At the forbidden ground behind Wuhun Hall, seven figures descended simultaneously, forming a half-circle to surround the courtyard.

They were none other than Qian Daoliu, the Grand Priest, with the six other Worship Hall elders: Golden Crocodile, Azure Luan, Mighty Lion, Radiant Feather, Qian Jun, and Demon-Slaying.

Inside the courtyard—

Su Linfeng and Bibi Dong woke at the same time.

She had planned to send him away from Spirit Hall that very day. But now—it was too late.

"You little brat."

Bibi Dong rose quickly, pulling on her clothes. Her face hardened as she turned to Su Linfeng.

"No matter what happens outside—don't come out."

Without waiting for his response, she strode firmly out of the courtyard.

Don't go out?

How could he possibly stay put?

Su Linfeng had never been one to obey Bibi Dong's orders. He hurriedly grabbed his clothes and rushed after her.

"Bibi Dong!"

The moment Qian Daoliu laid eyes on her, his expression darkened. Even more so when he sensed Qian Xunji's aura lingering faintly within her body.

In the next second—

The overwhelming Angelic Domain crashed down, suppressing her on the spot.

"So it really was you! Where is my son?!"

"Hehehe…"

Bibi Dong showed no fear. Instead, she laughed coldly, meeting his fury with defiance.

"You're too late. I've already devoured him."

"You wretch!"

Qian Daoliu roared, his usual unshakable composure breaking apart in rage. Qian Xunji was his own flesh and blood, after all.

The crushing might of a level 99 Ultimate Douluo poured down.

Bibi Dong grunted in pain as she was forced to her knees under the weight.

"Grand Priest, kill this woman!" Golden Crocodile Douluo bellowed furiously.

"Nothing less will avenge him!"

"He's right, Grand Priest. If this spreads, where will Spirit Hall's face be on the continent?"

"Not only that—our Angelic Clan's faith will be shaken as well!"

"Kill this vile woman and bury the truth!"

With Golden Crocodile taking the lead, the other Worships quickly echoed him, most demanding Bibi Dong's execution to avenge the fallen Pope Qian Xunji.

"Heh… hypocrites!"

Bibi Dong sneered, even at the edge of death, showing no regret.

"If we speak of scum, who was more despicable than Qian Xunji? He only reaped what he sowed!"

"Silence!"

"Enough!"

Qian Daoliu raised his palm, but a sudden, childish voice cut through the air.

The seven Worships froze.

They turned toward the sound—

And there stood Su Linfeng, bursting from the room with his Golden Flame Domain blazing, tearing apart Qian Daoliu's Angelic Domain as he planted himself before Bibi Dong.

"You will not lay a hand on her!"

His appearance left even the seven Worships, including Qian Daoliu himself, utterly stunned.

A six-year-old child.

And yet, he had shrugged off the domain of an Ultimate Douluo.

How was that possible?

This was no ordinary domain—it was the Angelic Domain of a level 99. And yet the boy stood untouched!

Unthinkable!

So what if Qian Daoliu was a level 99 Ultimate Douluo? He wasn't a true Angel God. The Golden Flame Domain suppressed all non-divine domains by nature.

Without reaching the Angelic Sanctuary, his domain was no exception.

But once the shock faded, another question rose:

When had Bibi Dong acquired a child by her side?

And why hadn't they known about it?

Of course—they hadn't noticed him. Su Linfeng had never left the forbidden ground in six years, and the Worship Hall rarely meddled in Spirit Hall affairs. Why would they care about one six-year-old boy?

"Didn't I tell you not to come out?"

Bibi Dong glared coldly at him. "Why can't you listen?"

"When have I ever listened?"

Su Linfeng grinned, then turned toward Qian Daoliu in the sky.

"He wants to kill you. How could I stay inside?"

Their eyes met.

Not an ounce of fear shone in Su Linfeng's gaze.

Qian Daoliu frowned, scrutinizing the boy. A flicker of familiarity tugged at him—he sensed the aura of True Solar Flame.

Could it be—this child was also Qian Xunji and Bibi Dong's…?

But then—

"What?"

His eyes widened suddenly.

"You're already at rank 24?!"

Innate full spirit power, rank 20!

And the Angelic inheritance!

At once, the same thought flashed across the Worships' minds. Their gazes snapped to Bibi Dong.

They hadn't noticed?

Su Linfeng breathed a sigh of relief. He had feared Qian Daoliu would see through his soul beast origin. But with the Destruction God's power fused into him, even an Ultimate Douluo couldn't detect it.

Taking advantage of Qian Daoliu's momentary distraction, Su Linfeng spoke firmly:

"You cannot kill her."

"What?"

Qian Daoliu's focus returned, a cold light flashing in his eyes.

"This woman killed my son. Why shouldn't I? Give me one reason."

"Because besides you, she's the only family I have left—me and Sister Qian Renxue's only family."

Su Linfeng's voice was steady.

"And your bastard son is already dead. If you kill her too, how will you explain it to my sister?"

"You…" Qian Daoliu's breath caught.

"Am I wrong?"

Su Linfeng pressed on quickly, not daring to give him time to rage.

"Do you not understand the meaning of blood ties?"

"..."

Of course, he understood.

But this reasoning—childish as it sounded—still struck him silent. So blood was thicker than water for Xiaoxue and Bibi Dong… but not for his own son?

Su Linfeng hadn't hit the true point.

But his words forced Qian Daoliu to cool down, if only for a moment. He couldn't ignore the fact that Qian Renxue carried Bibi Dong's blood. If she died, who could guarantee the Spider Queen's bloodline wouldn't awaken in Renxue as well?

Blood was thicker than water.

"Well, there's more."

Su Linfeng continued boldly, You want to kill her because she's not strong enough? Then tell me—how many Title Douluos have you seen at twenty-nine years old?
