Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 The King of Volumes is about to be born

Was George's body in this World considered a genius?

Naturally not. His memory and comprehension were quite average.

However, his original body in the Marvel Universe, having inherited Professor X's genes, truly could be considered a genius in terms of memory and comprehension.

If it were just that, he naturally wouldn't have the confidence to become the most talented and gifted student in Hogwarts's entire history.

His confidence primarily stemmed from two points.

Firstly, he didn't just have one brain. His will was singular, but after skillfully operating two bodies, it was akin to simultaneously running two brains for memory, analysis, and comprehension.

For example, when his clone in the Harry Potter World saw a math problem, if he only used the clone to calculate, it might take twenty seconds to do it mentally.

If he simultaneously let his main body in the main World awaken and join the calculation, with two brains working together, it might take less than ten seconds to mentally calculate the result.

Similarly, when he studied and learned a magic, two brains learning together were much stronger than one, at which point he was already comparable to some top geniuses.

For this purpose, he even specifically changed the main World body's schedule. In the future, while the clone attended classes during the day, the main body would also act as a second brain at night in the Marvel Universe to assist in improving learning efficiency, then catch up on sleep during the day.

Secondly, in the few days before school started, he also did something else.

That was using the supercomputer in the Mutant Academy's Underground Room to input all the books and textbooks he had read in the Harry Potter World into the computer.

He also had no intention of letting go of any knowledge points from future classes or books from the school library.

Two brains working together made him a top genius, but he still couldn't achieve photographic memory.

Let alone him, even the top Wizards and legendary Wizards in the Wizarding World couldn't possibly remember every single word from every book they had read.

But now it was different. All content was entered into the supercomputer. He only needed to search for keywords, and the relevant information would immediately pop up.

So, in the upcoming classes, if he couldn't remember the answer to any teacher's question, he could use the supercomputer to search for it, quickly get the answer, and thus earn all the points.

In exams, anything involving theoretical knowledge was no different from an open-book test for him.

In the next seven years, he would outcompete all the young Wizards, including the famous academic Hermione; she wouldn't be able to surpass him.

As for why he did this?

Of course, it was to obtain more resources and better magic. Only by being outstanding enough could he have more privileges.

If Hermione wasn't excellent enough, how would she have obtained the Time-Turner?

If Lord Voldemort wasn't excellent enough, how would he have gained the adoration of so many Wizards, the favor of teachers, and learned so many powerful Dark Arts?

So he also needed to be excellent, excellent in all aspects, preferably excellent enough to make Dumbledore suspect that he was the savior who could save the World.

Although that possibility was relatively small.

"You guys, how can they accurately sort us into a House?

It won't be through some kind of test, right? I've only read a lot of magic history; I haven't read anything else."

Colin's expression was subtly uneasy.

Young Wizards from Muggle families basically had no magic foundation. If it came to a test in that area, he truly wouldn't know anything.

"Ron told me it's a very scary test, but I don't believe it. How could the school do something dangerous to students?

If it really is, I don't think Ron could pass the test."

Ginny had an expression that suggested she didn't care about any test. She considered herself much stronger than her timid brother, Ron.

Luna still had that ethereal look about her:

"Although Dad didn't tell me exactly how the sorting works, he said the whole process is very simple, and we will be sorted into the House most suitable for us, so there's no need to worry."

"Is that so? That's good. Which House do you all want to go to?"

Colin immediately breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this, then became a bit excited.

"I want to go to Gryffindor. Harry Potter is in Gryffindor, and it's said that the greatest Wizard Dumbledore also came from Gryffindor."

"I also want to go to Gryffindor. All my brothers are Gryffindors."

Ginny replied with a slight blush.

Actually, the more important reason was that her favorite Harry Potter was in Gryffindor.

"Either is fine."

Luna and George said simultaneously.

"Ah!!!"

Just then, a scream suddenly came from the small room. It turned out that a group of ghosts had appeared by passing through the wall, startling the young Wizards.

The ghosts giggled and commented on the young Wizards, then scattered and disappeared when they saw Professor McGonagall appear.

"Now, single file, follow me."

Professor McGonagall said sternly, then led the young Wizards out of the small room and walked towards the Great Hall on the other side of the hall.

"It truly is magnificent."

As the group entered the Great Hall, George's eyes lit up.

What first caught his eye were the thousands of magic candles floating in mid-air, followed by the magnificent virtual starry sky scene on the ceiling, created by magic.

Below were four long tables, each representing a House, and each filled with Wizards from all six years.

On the tables were gleaming plates and goblets.

On the dais directly opposite was another long table, where all the school's Professors sat.

The oldest and most prominent-looking person in the middle should be Dumbledore, with Flitwick, Sprout, Lockhart, and others seated on either side.

However, he didn't see the Dean of Slytherin, Professor Snape.

After a careful recollection, he remembered that the Professor should currently be patrolling the Castle, apprehending Harry and Ron, who were already in the news.

Because Malfoy's House-elf, Dobby, was worried that Harry would encounter danger from Lord Voldemort's diary this year at Hogwarts, he sealed the entrance when Harry and Ron entered Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.

The two missed the Hogwarts Express and had no choice but to privately drive Arthur's privately modified magic car to Hogwarts.

However, due to Ron's inexperienced driving, he forgot to turn on the invisibility feature when they first took off, leading to many Muggles witnessing the miraculous sight of the car flying in the air. This incident even made it into The Daily Prophet.

At this very moment, it was estimated that the two had already arrived at the school, but they had missed the Sorting Ceremony.

He turned his head and looked around the windows of the Great Hall. Sure enough, in one window, he saw two boys peeking inside, but they were quickly pulled out by a pair of large hands.

"Poor little fellows, my condolences for two seconds!"

Harry and Ron being caught by Snape on the spot surely meant trouble ahead.

Because Lily was Harry's mother, Snape would protect Harry even at the cost of his own life.

But also because James was Harry's father, Snape genuinely disliked Harry.
