The wars in the southern countries, rather than being called wars between countries, are more accurately described as battles between cities.

Because on the southern continent, a small country consists of one city and a few towns, while a large one is only a few cities and more than ten small towns.

Compared to the central and northern continents, calling them countries is a stretch.

Easily slitting the throats of the patrolling soldiers in the palace, Yulian stepped expressionlessly into the palace where the King currently resided.

The luxurious palace was currently pitch black.

Yulian casually threw out a beam of white light, which illuminated the palace like a small sun.

"Who's there!"

The sleeping King woke up with a start, looking at Yulian with a face full of shock.

"Quickly, someone! There's an assassin!"

"The spatial barrier has been released,"

Yulian strangely looked at the lavishly dressed old man before him.

"I won't kill you, provided you cooperate well with me."

"Who are you?"

Seeing that Yulian didn't make a move, the King calmed down considerably, sitting upright on the bed and regaining his usual high-and-mighty demeanor.

It really was like his brain had been kicked by a donkey.

Yulian silently complained in his heart.

"You!"

"How dare you!"

The old King angrily stretched out a trembling finger, pointing at Yulian.

However, the next second, seeing the Magic ball in Yulian's hand, he still chickened out.

Magic—Truth-telling Magic!

"Why is the southern continent always in war?"

"I don't know!"

The moment the old King thought of lying, the white ball suddenly flashed red light, illuminating his face.

Yulian quietly looked at the old King, his silence deafening.

"Unification, we want unification."

The old King stroked his chin, hesitant to speak further.

Yulian looked at the soft white ball in his hand, a little breathless.

He had already traveled through more than a dozen countries on the southern continent, but this was the first time he had heard this answer.

Unification!

Is the purpose of the southern continent's long-standing wars unification?

"Quite ambitious."

Yulian praised him indifferently, and before the old King could be pleased, the next question popped out.

"Where is the barrier?"

"Barrier, what barrier?"

The old King was stunned, his own country didn't have a barrier.

"The barrier set up by Flamme."

The white ball didn't change, proving that the old King might genuinely not know, or perhaps he simply hadn't recalled it.

So Yulian reminded him.

"That legendary Great Mage, Flamme?"

"I remember... there really is one."

"Where?"

"In the treasury, she sent the Magic tool for setting up the barrier, but we've never used it."

"That thing requires a lot of resources to grow and be set up, and it's only specifically for the Demon Race, so naturally we couldn't use it."

"Everyone knows the Demon Race is in the north of the continent, while we are in the south."

The old King seemed to be talking about something amusing, and couldn't help but chuckle.

"Mm."

The old King didn't lie, and Yulian turned and left.

"I'm taking the item. As compensation, I'll take care of the King of Jipir for you."

"Wait, it's not the time yet!"

The old King became anxious. Although he didn't know the exact purpose of the stranger before him.

But if the King of Jipir were killed now, it would undoubtedly cause a war!

He had just fought a war with the Kalos Kingdom, and if he were to again!

Unfortunately, Yulian didn't listen to his final shout at all.

Or rather, that was Yulian's original intention.

Let the wars continue, let the entire southern continent be in non-stop war.

Paving the way for the arrival of the Demon King's Army in advance.

Yulian couldn't help but want to laugh. He never expected that Flamme, when setting up the barrier, would actually remember even the southern countries.

Even more unexpected was that these southern countries, in order to save resources for war, didn't set up this barrier which was very disgusting and terrifying for the Demon Race.

Where to land from?

Start from Indus first, bypass the Glanz Strait, head all the way south, and finally land in the Lunan region of the Jipir Kingdom?

"Who exactly was he..."

Yulian's figure disappeared outside the house, and the old King, having survived the ordeal, slumped to the ground.

He had been trying to make himself appear a little foolish. This way, although he didn't know the man's purpose, it might give him a chance to save his own life.

Facts proved that he had indeed survived.

"Wait and see, I will definitely catch you."

"And then make your life worse than death!"

The old King's face was gloomy. As the ruler of a country, being manipulated into such a state was an absolute humiliation.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing, nothing. I said I'm ready to go to war with Jipir."

"Really?"

"Are you sure you're not sending people to catch me, or something?"

Yulian's face showed confusion, a little suspicious, wondering if he had misheard?

After all, the smile on the old King's face at this moment could even be described as baby-like.

If it was true, then this guy's face-changing speed was too fast, right?

"Really, really, absolutely true!"

The old King swore with four fingers raised, and then cautiously inquired, "Sir, is there anything else?"

Yulian nodded. Naturally, there was a reason for him to return after leaving.

"The treasury has a barrier."

It was something one couldn't help but complain about. The palace of a dignified ruler of a country didn't have a barrier, yet the treasury was heavily guarded...

"Understood, understood!"

"Sir, this is the token for the treasury."

Looking at Yulian's hesitant expression, the old King felt like crying without tears.

He had tried a reverse psychology move only to be outsmarted by Yulian and have his 'home' stolen, which was also quite helpless, alright.

"You can just say you're taking the national treasure, and they will find it for you."

"Seriously, is it real or fake?"

Yulian took the token, half-believing, half-doubting.

Didn't he say that barrier was useless to them?

And a national treasure?

"After all, it's something given by the legendary Great Mage Flamme. It's said to be quite popular on the northern continent."

The old King awkwardly touched his chin. Yulian didn't delay further, and after a 'take care', he disappeared into the night once again.

"That was terrifying."

The old King maintained the gesture of waving goodbye for several minutes. After confirming that Yulian wouldn't return, he finally breathed a sigh of relief and found a chair to sit down.

"Someone..."

"Someone!"

After two calls with no response, the old King frowned fiercely and opened the palace door, preparing to go see which lowly servant was slacking off again.

"Ah!"

The old King let out a panicked scream.

As soon as the door opened, he saw bodies lying quietly all over the floor.

Guards, magic users, maids, this time Yulian showed no mercy at all...
