"Here we are, Bardock. The Forbidden Land…"

In front of them lay a giant cocoon of flesh, pulsing with a sinister light. Inside it, the ancient demon slept. Ashe, the Demon Queen, raised her guard instantly.

"You don't need to explain," Bardock said, crossing his arms, his sharp eyes fixed on the cocoon. "Anyone with half a brain can feel it… this is where everything went wrong."

The air was thick, unstable, and overflowing with dark ki. One wrong move and the entire realm could collapse.

Bardock tilted his head. "Tch… figures. Demons always love hiding inside meatballs, huh?" His eyes narrowed as faces appeared on the cocoon's surface. "I thought I'd see a monster like Hirudegarn… or maybe something smart, like Moro. But this guy—" His eyes locked on the thin figure inside, its body faintly resembling Majin Buu's gaunt form. "—doesn't look so impressive."

But the truth was obvious. The power leaking from its body was terrifying. Every breath from the sleeping demon rattled the realm.

Bardock smirked. "So this is the one tied to the Blood Moon, huh? No wonder the whole realm's gone crazy."

The Blood Moon above pulsed in sync with the demon's energy. Most assumed the demon fed the Blood Moon. But Bardock could see the truth: the Blood Moon itself was feeding this demon, keeping it alive for billions of years.

"His power's been stolen before," Ashe whispered, her eyes locked on the cocoon. "That's why he's thirsting for more. That's why the Blood Moon keeps erupting."

Bardock narrowed his eyes, activating the ability Porunga had granted him. He instantly read the demon's power level—even in deep sleep, it was over 1000.

"…No way. That's seventh-dimension strength. Just like Goku when he first went Super Saiyan Blue… or Golden Frieza." Bardock clenched his fist. "And that's while he's asleep."

Ashe swallowed. "His name is Kira… the first demon. The scrolls say he can twist pure energy into evil. But beyond that… nothing."

"Figures," Bardock muttered. He cracked a grin. "Doesn't matter. Strong or not, I'll take him head-on."

Ashe gasped as Bardock lifted his hand and began forming an energy sphere. "Wait! If you attack him now, the entire Demon Realm—"

"Relax." Bardock smirked. "This guy might be a threat… but he's not the Demon Realm itself. If he's alive, then he bleeds. If he bleeds, I can kill him."

Golden light swirled around Bardock's hand. Ashe flushed, both worried and angry. "You… you could've told me that earlier, you idiot!"

Bardock chuckled. "What's the point? You're my woman. No need to play Demon Queen in front of me."

The energy ball formed, blazing like a small sun. The Forbidden Land shook violently.

BOOOOM!!!

The entire realm roared as flames spread across the cocoon. The ancient seal cracked. The evil aura spiked.

Ashe froze. "No… he's waking up? Already?!"

Bardock's eyes gleamed. "Heh. Just as I thought. He's been conscious this whole time… just didn't care. Until now."

From the shadows, a pair of glowing eyes opened inside the cocoon. Runes burned across the demon's skin.

Bardock smirked. "Finally… an opponent worth my time."

"Bardock!" Ashe shouted. "Aina is here—our daughter's hiding behind us!"

Bardock didn't look back. "Take her. Get her out. Leave Kira to me."

Ashe hesitated, then grabbed Aina's hand. "Be careful…"

"Go!!" Bardock roared, stepping forward as his golden aura exploded.

The cocoon shattered. A towering figure emerged, dark and twisted, the Blood Moon's light burning behind him like a halo. Demon Kira stretched, his aura crushing the realm.

Every demon across the realm froze in terror. Even Majin Buu, far away in space, shivered as he sensed it. Moro in his prison opened his eyes. Even Hirudegarn in another dimension let out a desperate roar.

The first demon had returned.

Kira's voice echoed across the realm, deep and full of killing intent. "Death…"

He raised his hand. A pink energy sphere swelled, rapidly expanding into a massive orb the size of a mountain. The ki was enough to erase half the Demon Realm in one shot.

Bardock's aura flared, his body glowing with divine gold. He clenched his fist.

"Not bad," he smirked. "But you're too eager."

The two powers collided. The entire Demon Realm trembled.

For the first time in ages, Bardock grinned like a true Saiyan warrior.

"Finally… a real fight."

"Huh?!" Bardock grinned as Demon Kira's first strike failed to even scratch him.

The demon's smirk grew wider. This Saiyan was much more interesting than the woman who had once stolen his power.

Instead of rushing in, Kira folded his arms, watching Bardock with hungry eyes.

Bardock floated closer, calm as ever. Their auras clashed in the air like two storms, shaking the Demon Realm itself.

Kira's energy poured out like a tidal wave, pressing down with suffocating force.

But Bardock didn't even flinch. He smirked.

"This weak pressure? That's nothing to me. You've lived billions of years, and this is all you've got?"

With that, Bardock released his own ki—an overwhelming shockwave that blasted through the entire Demon Realm.

Demons everywhere froze, clutching their chests as if the air itself was crushing them. Even Kira's eyes widened for a moment.

"What's wrong?" Bardock mocked. "Don't tell me the great ancient demon is scared just from looking me in the eye?"

Kira threw his head back and roared with insane laughter.

"Jiehahahaha!!" His aura erupted, black-purple flames wrapping around him like hellfire. His ki spiked violently, shaking the realm in darkness and despair.

Bardock narrowed his eyes. Two thousand already, huh? Strong… but still not enough.

In an instant, Kira vanished, moving faster than sound, and slammed a fist toward Bardock.

Bardock raised his arm casually, blocking the blow with ease. The impact boomed across the skies, making the Demon Realm tremble.

"Not bad," Bardock said with a grin. "Your punch has some weight to it."

But Kira only grew wilder, his attacks speeding up, fists flying like a storm. For the first time in years, Bardock felt real pressure building. His blood boiled.

"Heh. You're making me warm up." Bardock shifted, dodging blows with pinpoint precision, then countered with a clean strike.

Kira smirked as his body scattered into particles, slipping through Bardock's fist.

"Hmph. A body made of particles?" Bardock muttered, frowning. "That's a nasty trick."

In the blink of an eye, Kira reformed behind him, hands clasped into a hammer strike. Bardock spun and dodged, countering with a whip kick. Again, Kira scattered into particles, reforming ten meters away with a mocking smile.

"You're annoying," Bardock growled. "But I'll figure you out."

Kira's grin twisted. "Kill you! Eat you!" His voice was filled with madness and bloodlust.

Bardock just sneered. "You can talk, huh? But after being sealed so long, maybe your brain's gone soft."

Without powering up into Super Saiyan, Bardock decided to push just 30% of his full strength. His speed exploded, surpassing Kira's reflexes.

Before Kira could scatter again, Bardock's fist smashed across his face. The demon's head snapped back as the impact thundered across the blood moon.

Kira reeled, but Bardock didn't stop. He unleashed a barrage of strikes, kicking and punching the ancient demon across the skies like a ragdoll.

Below, Towa and Ina watched from the Demon Palace.

"Th-that's Bardock's power…?" Towa whispered, stunned.

Ina's eyes widened in awe. "Dad… is this how strong you really are?"

High above, Bardock's onslaught sent Kira crashing into the blood moon, leaving a massive crater.

Standing over him, Bardock said coldly: "So this is it? I thought you'd be interesting. But you're just another disappointment."

He raised his palm, golden light swirling as he prepared to finish it.

But from the crater, Kira only laughed harder. The blood moon itself pulsed, feeding him endless energy. His body swelled, growing stronger, his ki skyrocketing past its old limit.

Bardock's eyes narrowed. "What the hell…? He's pulling power from the entire Demon Realm."

In a blinding flash, Kira emerged, transformed, his body larger, his aura more violent, his power now on par with the ninth dimension itself.

Blood-red eyes locked on Bardock.

"This… is fun!" Kira roared, his voice shaking the skies.

Bardock smirked, dropping into stance. "Heh. Finally getting serious? Good. Don't let me down."

The real fight was just beginning.
