Bardock vs. Demon Kira
"Since you like games so much… how about we play something exciting?" Bardock said as his aura flared up like a raging fire.
The whole Demon Realm shook under his overwhelming energy. White flames of ki wrapped around his body, and for the first time, Bardock tapped into his full base power.
Demon Kira just grinned like a child seeing a new toy. "This is fun! Let's keep going!"
He raised his hand, forming a huge purple energy sphere. The sky itself changed colors—dark red, black, then deep purple—before snapping back. The sphere grew until it was kilometers wide, crackling with destructive energy.
"With an attack like that… there's no reason to dodge." Bardock spread his arms. His aura formed a golden barrier that wrapped around his body. The massive energy sphere hit, but the shield blocked it completely—only smoke filled the sky.
But Kira wasn't done. His body blurred into light, his arm turning into a blade as he struck at Bardock's head.
Bardock tilted aside, dodging easily. His palm lit up with golden energy, and he shoved a blast toward Kira's chest—only for the demon to dissolve into particles again, vanishing into space itself.
The two of them clashed across the Demon Realm at speeds too fast for the eye. Each impact shook the ground and lit up the sky with fire.
Shockwaves rattled the land, but Demon Lord Ashe quickly created a barrier to shield the continent.
The longer the battle dragged on, the blood moon above the realm grew darker, feeding Kira's power. His ki kept rising, his madness growing stronger, and for the first time in years, Bardock felt pressure.
The pace quickened—blow after blow, explosion after explosion. The sky was filled with energy blasts, colliding in waves strong enough to erase mountains.
"It's fun! So fun! Keep fighting me!!" Kira roared, his eyes bloodshot as he fired barrage after barrage.
Bardock sighed. "You're just spamming one trick." He lifted his hand, creating a swirling black vortex that sucked in every blast.
"What?!" Kira growled, then unleashed his full evil ki. His aura turned black and purple, and even the blood moon shifted to match his power.
Kira raised his arms, his entire body glowing as he poured everything into a single super attack. The condensed energy grew into a massive sphere, towering like a dark sun in the sky.
Bardock smirked. "So this is your trump card, huh? Not bad."
The blast could have destroyed the entire Demon Realm.
"Jiehahahaha!! The game's over—die!!" Kira hurled the attack down. His power spiked to terrifying levels—strong enough that, without Bardock, only a God of Destruction could have stopped it.
Bardock closed his eyes. "You're right. This game ends now."
His aura flared, golden light tearing through the darkness. His hair spiked up, his eyes turned green, and in an instant—
"HRRRAAAA!!!"
—Bardock transformed into a Super Saiyan (Full Power). His strength multiplied 80 times over. The shockwave alone shattered Kira's giant sphere into dust.
Kira froze, trembling. "N-no… impossible… you… who are you?!"
Bardock's golden aura roared around him, lighting the entire Demon Realm. "What's wrong? Where's all that confidence? You're shaking."
Kira remembered the day he'd once been sealed by a higher power, and the fear came flooding back.
"This power… it's the same as back then…" he muttered in terror.
Bardock raised his palm, gathering a seven-colored energy sphere, twisting space itself. Kira tried to scatter into particles again, but found himself locked in place.
"You think I didn't see through that trick?" Bardock said coldly. "This ends now."
The rainbow blast struck Kira, erasing his body and even his soul. The Demon Realm fell silent.
The blood moon returned to normal, the sky cleared, and the oppressive aura faded.
Bardock exhaled, dropping out of Super Saiyan. "Finally… it's over."
After Bardock left, his son Aimo sat on the Saiyan throne under his father's orders.
For ten days straight, Aimo had been handling things he never touched before. He might have been a prince, but while Bardock ruled, no one dared flatter or obey Aimo just because of his title. Bardock's power alone was enough to silence the clans.
Now it was different. Bardock had given him the throne, and Aimo was forced to grow into the role.
At first, he thought his father was just harsh. Every task Bardock gave him seemed impossible, yet Bardock would say it was "easy." Aimo finally understood—it was training. His father had been forging him for this moment.
"Fifteen years old… and I thought I was already perfect," Aimo muttered from the throne. "But now I see how wrong I was. Father carried the whole clan on his back."
Though no one openly challenged him, Aimo knew the truth. The Saiyans were strong, divided into factions, and power alone determined loyalty. Without Bardock, cracks would soon show.
Looking at the sky, he sighed. "Ten days… still no word from father. Some of the old ones are already moving in the shadows."
Before he could think further, the palace shook.
High above Planet Sadala, two figures floated in space, staring down at the world below—Lord Beerus and his angel attendant Whis.
"Lord Beerus, we've arrived," Whis said calmly. "This is Planet Sadala, home of the Saiyans. But it seems Bardock isn't back yet."
Beerus stretched and yawned. "Tch. Whatever. Since we're here, let's check it out. I've heard about these Saiyans turning gold… Super… what was it again?"
"It's Super Saiyan, Lord Beerus," Whis corrected politely.
"Right! Super Saiyan," Beerus nodded, snapping his fingers.
Inside the palace, Saiyan guards surrounded the throne. The moment Beerus and Whis appeared, the guards attacked—foolishly.
Beerus didn't even move. Just one glare from the God of Destruction, and the guards dropped like flies, crushed by his aura. Even the Super Saiyans collapsed instantly, leaving only Aimo and a few elites struggling to stay conscious.
Beerus smirked, strolling up to the throne. He dropped into it casually. "So this is the great Saiyan throne, huh? Not bad. But where's Bardock? He's the one I came to see."
Aimo clenched his fists, sweat dripping down as the crushing divine pressure weighed on him. His golden aura flickered—he was barely keeping his Super Saiyan form stable.
Whis glanced at Beerus. "Lord Beerus, although Bardock isn't here… his son is right before you."
Beerus's eyes narrowed at Aimo. "Ohhh… Bardock's boy, huh? Interesting. In that case, entertain me."
The pressure around Aimo grew heavier, slamming him toward the ground. His knees buckled, cracks spreading across the floor. Saiyan warriors cried out:
"Prince Aimo!!"
But Beerus didn't care. "Let's see how far you can go before you break."
Aimo roared, lightning bursting from his body. His golden hair spiked higher, his aura doubling. In that moment, he broke past his limit—
Super Saiyan 2.
Beerus blinked. "Huh. The look changed. More power too… but still nothing special."
His aura pressed down harder, making Aimo's vision blur. His transformation flickered, on the verge of collapsing.
"I… am the prince of Saiyans!" Aimo shouted through clenched teeth. "I will not kneel to you… no matter what!!"
But his strength was fading. His knees shook. He was seconds from blacking out.
Beerus raised his hand lazily, ready to finish it.
Just then—
BOOM!
The palace shook as space itself tore open.
Bardock appeared in front of the throne, his hand catching Aimo before he could fall. At the same time, his own aura flared, blasting away Beerus's pressure in an instant.
Aimo looked up weakly. His blurred eyes widened. "…Father…?"
