"The fight isn't over yet. You gods sure love to brag! I wonder… when you lose, will your pride survive that blow?" Bardock's voice was sharp, his aura burning. His divine power and Saiyan bloodline energy merged perfectly, his fighting spirit flaring stronger than ever.
Beerus smirked, folding his arms. "You know the gap in our strength, and yet you still want to fight? Hmph. Very well. I'll show you the real terror of a God of Destruction! I'll make you see a truth you can't change, no matter how hard you struggle."
With a flick of his finger, Beerus beckoned Bardock forward. "Come on then. This will be your last chance."
Bardock's aura roared, blue flames and golden sparks tearing open the void around him. "Don't underestimate me, Beerus!!" His battle stance tightened, the blood of a Saiyan burning bright.
The two auras clashed.
BOOOOM!!!
Space itself cracked apart, black holes forming, storms raging across the void.
Beerus' Ultra Instinct aura flared silver and white, calm but terrifying. "No matter what attack you try, my body will dodge it on its own. You can't touch me."
Bardock grinned. "Then I'll just push past my limits until I do!"
He raised his hands, condensing a massive sphere of godly blue-gold energy and hurled it forward. Beerus sighed, flicking his finger to fire a single spark of destruction. Both attacks canceled out, dissolving into glittering particles.
But Bardock was already gone.
"Behind you!"
Beerus twisted, his body shifting on instinct. Bardock's punch only hit an afterimage. Beerus' voice echoed, calm but sharp: "It's useless. You can't land a hit on me."
But then—WHAM!—a spinning whip kick connected with Beerus' arm. The god staggered back slightly, pain running through his limb. His eyes widened.
"Tch… that actually hurt." Beerus growled, glaring at Bardock. "Good! Let's see how long you last!!"
The two exploded into combat. Fist against fist, kick against kick, their blows shattered stars, crushed galaxies, tore holes in reality itself. Blue lightning and silver flames clashed, shaking the entire Seventh Universe.
Whis watched, expression serious now. "Lord Beerus is going all out… but even so, Bardock is still standing. No… he's growing stronger." His staff glowed, reinforcing the barriers to protect the universe.
Inside the battle, Bardock roared, his aura skyrocketing. "HAAAAAH!!!" His power spiked again, nearly catching up to Beerus'.
Beerus' eyes narrowed. "This is insane… His power is climbing even while we fight! Saiyans… they really are monsters."
For the first time in eons, Beerus felt pressure. His instincts warned him—the fight was slipping out of his control.
"Enough!!!" Beerus bellowed, his Ultra Instinct aura blazing brighter, his power level blasting past 2000. "You're finished, Bardock!!"
But Bardock only laughed, fists tightening. "That's more like it! If you don't fight me at full power, then this means nothing!!"
Their auras clashed once more, shaking not only Universe 7, but spilling into Universes 6 and 8 as well. Entire realms trembled at their battle.
Whis' calm gaze sharpened. Inside, his thoughts raced. This is beyond what I imagined… even Lord Beerus might not be enough to stop him…
Just then, a voice rang inside Whis' mind. Deep. Majestic. Absolute.
"Whis."
Whis froze. His eyes widened. "...Father. The Grand Priest!"
The voice of the Grand Priest echoed through his mind. "I've been watching. This mortal Bardock… he is far beyond what we expected. Do not interfere yet. Let him and Beerus finish. When it's over… bring Bardock to me, at the Zeno's Palace."
Whis' expression turned grave. "The Grand Priest… wants to meet Bardock… personally?!"
Whis' Shock & The Grand Priest's Command
Whis' eyes widened. Something incredible just happened—
The Grand Priest himself had spoken.
"Whis. Bring this mortal to Zeno's Palace when the battle is done."
Even Whis was shaken. A mortal Saiyan, Bardock, strong enough that even Lord Beerus might not be his match? Unthinkable.
"But… no matter how powerful he is, he's still a mortal," Whis whispered to himself. "Even if Bardock's reached such a terrifying level, the gap between him and us Angels is still enormous."
His thoughts spun. Why, Father? Could this Saiyan truly mark the start of a new era?
Otherwise, how could Bardock have caught the eye of the Grand Priest himself? Out of countless timelines and parallel worlds, why this Bardock?
Whis couldn't sense the secret hidden within him.
The Grand Priest's voice rang again in his mind, calm but absolute. "You'll understand in time, Whis. What you should know, you'll know. What you shouldn't—leave it."
Whis bowed his head slightly. "Understood, Father." Even as an Angel, he couldn't resist such an order.
"Good. I haven't seen a battle like this in ages. This Saiyan is… fascinating. When their fight ends, just handle the aftermath."
The link broke. Whis floated silently, his usual smile gone. Though he was the son of the Grand Priest, he couldn't read his father's intentions. Fear and curiosity swirled inside him.
Bardock… this isn't just about strength. There's something else.
The Battle Continues: Bardock vs Beerus
On the battlefield, Beerus' aura flared with silver light—Ultra Instinct pushed to its limit. His power shot past 2,500. But Bardock wasn't falling behind.
The blood of a Saiyan raged inside him, fusing with divine ki. His Super Saiyan Blue form surged, breaking past its limits. Sparks of golden energy wrapped around him. His power blasted through 3,000, surpassing Beerus outright.
The clash restarted, fiercer than ever.
Every punch ripped space apart. Every shockwave shattered planets like glass.
Beerus gritted his teeth. "Damn it… why won't you break?!"
Even with Ultra Instinct guiding him, Bardock's raw strength and endless growth were pushing him back. Beerus snarled, gathering space energy, and suddenly vanished.
"Space jump…?" Bardock muttered, scanning. But it was too late. Beerus reappeared behind him—WHAM!—a brutal kick slammed into Bardock's back, sending him flying through a black star, shattering it into fragments.
Blood dripped from Bardock's mouth as he pushed himself off floating debris. "Tch… damn space tricks…" But his grin returned. "That won't stop me."
Before Bardock could recover fully, Beerus summoned a massive burning red star of energy, wider than the sun itself. The heat alone made Bardock's skin sting.
"Try surviving this!!" Beerus roared.
The blast rushed forward, threatening to erase everything in its path. Even Whis' barrier might not hold if it detonated.
Bardock's expression hardened. "Fine then. Let's see whose power wins!"
His aura exploded, every drop of divine ki pouring out. He roared, meeting the massive energy head-on. Slowly, piece by piece, his power tore it apart—until the colossal sphere shattered into a rain of glowing red particles.
Beerus' face twisted with rage. "Impossible! He destroyed it?!"
And worse—Bardock's ki hadn't dropped. It had grown stronger.
"His power keeps climbing… this is insane!!" Beerus thought, his chest tightening. "A mortal… surpassing me?! No… I won't allow it!!"
Bardock appeared before him in an instant, fist glowing with godly light. "Your turn, Beerus!!"
Beerus barely had time to react, pouring Destruction energy into his hands. Their powers clashed, shockwaves tearing through galaxies.
When the smoke cleared, Bardock stood bloodied but smiling. Beerus staggered, spitting blood, his body trembling.
"You call yourself a God of Destruction?" Bardock smirked. "Your attacks don't even hurt anymore. Looks like it's my win."
Beerus' pride cracked. For the first time, he was being pushed into the role of the loser—a god being humiliated by a mortal.
"Damn you… DAMN YOU!!" Beerus roared. Purple flames of Destruction burst around him, merging with Ultra Instinct's silver light. His aura shook the universe itself.
Bardock's eyes lit up. "Heh. So you're finally getting serious."
The fight was far from over.
