High above all the universes, the Grand Priest watched the battle below with a calm smile.

Everything was within his sight. His angel eyes could see past, present, and even the future of a universe. Nothing in Universe 7 could escape him.

He had known about Bardock for a long time, but chose not to interfere. A Saiyan surviving this long, gaining godly power without anyone's guidance—it was already beyond rare. But now, watching Bardock clash with Beerus in his Super Saiyan Blue Third Stage, even the Grand Priest couldn't help but feel interest for the first time in countless years.

"A Saiyan… Bardock?" he muttered softly. "A mortal who's trained himself to this point… even Beerus, the strongest God of Destruction, is being pushed back."

For a being like the Grand Priest, Beerus and Bardock were still like ants. But Bardock was different—he wasn't bound by the same rules as the Gods. That alone made him special.

Still, the Grand Priest knew the truth.

Even if Bardock could rival a God of Destruction in raw strength, the gap between mortals and gods wasn't just about power. It was about control of divine law—something Bardock had yet to master.

"Impressive… but not enough," the Grand Priest whispered, his smile never fading.

Then his expression shifted slightly. He felt a ripple—another Angel's power. The connection between Universe 6 and Universe 7 had been opened.

"Vados…" he sighed. "My daughter. You break the rules so easily. Entering another universe without permission… I should not ignore this."

He shook his head. Normally, such small things didn't concern him. But now was different. All the weight of this timeline, the focus of fate itself, was gathering in Universe 7.

"…Forget it. As long as no major incident happens, I will not step in." With that, the Grand Priest turned, already preparing to report to Zeno.

Universe 7 Battlefield

Meanwhile, the clash between Beerus and Bardock grew fiercer.

Blue flames of divine ki and purple destruction energy smashed against each other, tearing apart space itself. Every punch distorted reality, every kick shattered planets. Even Whis struggled to contain the aftershocks.

From the Supreme Kai Realm, the Kais trembled, speechless at the scale of power. Across the universe, mortals and gods alike could only pray for the battle to end.

Bardock's aura surged higher and higher. The blood of a Saiyan boiled inside him, pushing him past his limits. Even as he bled, his wounds healed, his fists only grew sharper.

Beerus frowned, sweat dripping from his brow.

"This guy… he's still getting stronger?! Impossible! Mortals should burn out, not grow in battle!"

For the first time in ages, Beerus felt pressure. The Saiyan's fighting spirit was overwhelming.

Bardock smirked through the blood on his lips. "What's wrong, Beerus? You're slowing down. Maybe you should admit defeat now, before I finish this."

Beerus didn't snap back in anger. Instead, he chuckled—a cold, sharp laugh that made Bardock narrow his eyes.

"What's so funny?" Bardock asked.

Beerus' grin widened. "I'm laughing because… in all my years, this is the most fun I've had. But it's also the last. This fight is almost over. And you, Saiyan… you'll die here."

He raised his fist, divine destruction energy burning hotter than ever. "Don't mistake me. I've been holding back. Now… I'll show you what a God of Destruction truly is!"

Bardock's smirk faded into a glare. "Tch. Stop talking, Beerus. If you've got a trump card, then bring it out! Let's settle this!"

The space between them shook as their auras expanded, blue and purple flames raging like colliding suns.

The real fight was just beginning.

Beerus smirked when he felt Bardock's killing intent.

"Heh… finally, I made you look serious."

He closed his eyes, drawing all of his destruction energy back into his body. The purple aura vanished, replaced by something else. A blinding white light began to shine from him—calm, infinite, yet overwhelming.

Bardock's eyes widened. "Tch… that energy… I know this feeling!"

It wasn't Destruction energy anymore. It was something purer. Something divine.

The heat of Beerus' aura skyrocketed. Bardock remembered the moment during the Tournament of Power when Goku awakened Ultra Instinct from the Spirit Bomb. As a time traveler, he already knew Beerus had mastered this technique, though it was never shown in the "original" story.

Bardock grinned, instead of being afraid. "Ultra Instinct, huh? Good. That just makes this fight even better!"

The Saiyan blood in his body boiled hotter. For a Saiyan, facing a stronger enemy was never something to fear—it was the greatest chance to evolve.

Whis, floating at a distance, spoke softly. "So… Lord Beerus is finally using that power. I never thought a Saiyan would force him this far…" His calm face carried the smallest hint of excitement.

Beerus' aura finished transforming. The purple of Destruction was gone, replaced by silver-white light. Steam rose off his body, his wounds gone, his posture steady and divine. His eyes glowed sharp, movements impossibly calm.

"This power… it's completely different," Bardock muttered, clenching his fists tighter.

Beerus folded his hands behind his back and spoke coldly. "No one has ever forced me to use this, except Whis. Not another God of Destruction. Not anyone. You should feel honored, Saiyan."

Bardock's lips curled into a smirk. "Heh. Good. Then I'll break it." His fighting spirit blazed, no fear in his eyes—only burning excitement.

Beerus sighed. "What a shame… I didn't plan to kill you. But with the threat you carry, I have no choice." His tone was cold, final. "Destroying unstable elements is my duty as a God of Destruction. You don't belong here, Bardock."

"Ridiculous!" Bardock roared. His ki flared, firing a massive blue energy blast.

But Beerus' body moved on its own, dodging effortlessly. Every punch, every kick Bardock unleashed after was the same—fast, ruthless, perfectly aimed—yet Beerus weaved through them like a ghost. Ultra Instinct guided him beyond thought.

Bardock's eyes narrowed. "Tch… so this is Ultra Instinct. I can't land a hit…"

In an instant, Beerus countered, slamming a heavy punch into Bardock's guard. The force ripped through Bardock's defenses, sending him flying across space. His arms trembled, blood dripping.

"It hurts… Ultra Instinct really is something else," Bardock muttered, panting but grinning through the pain. "But don't think I'm done."

His aura erupted again—blue divine ki exploding, but now mixed with golden sparks of his bloodline power. His energy skyrocketed, multiplying by the hundreds. The universe shook as Bardock's battle power climbed higher and higher.

Beerus' eyes widened slightly. "This guy… his energy keeps rising… even now?!"

The gap wasn't as wide anymore. Bardock's aura roared like a storm, his ki reaching new heights.

He pointed at Beerus with fire in his eyes. "Ultra Instinct or not… I'll still break through you!"

Beerus smirked, but his expression carried a hint of seriousness. "Hmph. Then come, Saiyan. Show me… if you really can surpass a God."

The two auras flared, white and blue colliding across the stars, their next clash about to shake the entire universe.
