Chapter 7 - Purple and White the colors of mockery.

After interrogating a total of 20 prisoners, Jack left the building disappointed.

"Ahhh, what a load of crap! None of them knew anything about the recent murder cases or who the assassin might be. How am I supposed to move forward now?"

Meanwhile, someone was approaching Jack. A man with purple hair and eyes as white as snow: Lorenzo.

"Well, well, look who it is. The angel of death himself, who only brings misery to Cambridge, haha."

"It had to be you, Lorenzo. Go back to your land, Italian! You should be protecting your country, not England."

Said Jack, looking at Lorenzo with a face of disgust.

"That's if I feel like it, you idiot, haha! Let's play a little game, shall we? Let's both try to solve a case, and whoever cracks it first and catches the culprit wins the competition."

"UH! No way I'm playing your little games, Lorenzo."

"Are you afraid of losing to me and get replaced by me in that case you've been trying to solve for months?! Hahaha!"

"Now you'll see! I accept the challenge!"

"Now you're speaking my language. The case will be the one detectives have been trying to solve for weeks, the case of the women who have been abused… if you know what I mean."

"Perfect! I'll see you later when I'm collecting the payment for solving the case."

"Bye, little skinny angel, hahahaha!"

Lorenzo… you've been bothering me ever since I started working as a detective. It's time you realize who you're messing with! (Jack's inner thoughts)

Jack then left the place to start investigating the case.
