The rumbling continued as the security team approached the noise, while Dante remained restrained in the chair. Daniel moved from the corner to stand next to Johnathan.
Johnathan turned to Dante, giving him a thoughtful look as if he were considering leaving him to go with them toward the source of the rumbling sound.
Dante, we still have much to talk about. However, I must go and deal with this. You must stay with Daniel and only with Daniel.e will talk after"
Jonathan says to Dants before he hurriedly leaves to help.
"It's just you and me, dear Marked One. I wonder what we could talk about."
Daniel playfully whispers to Dante in a mock seductive tone. He undoes Dante's restraints, allowing him to stand while keeping him within the room.
"Feel free to ask your questions; I know you have many. Don't worry, I won't get bored."
Daniel waits patiently for Dante to begin asking his questions, crossing his arms and tapping his fingers.
"Most of my questions have already been answered," Dante thinks for a moment before speaking again. "Well, my last question is: what will happen next?"
Daniel smirks, predicting Dante's question: "Well, now we will train you and teach you how our world works. Then we'll see if you are ready to become a sorcerer."
Dante's eyes widen at the thought of sorcery truly existing and what he could do with it. "Do you mean like magic and stuff?" Dante asks, nervousness and excitement lacing his voice.
Daniel turned towards the door, his golden hair swaying as he opened it. He glanced back at Dante with a slight smile and said, "Come find out, marked one. Once you step through this door, a new life will begin for you, dear Dante."
Dante followed Daniel out of the room, curious and determined about the journey ahead.
"I'll take you home, and tomorrow we'll discuss your training." Daniel says to Dante, leading him out of the building.
"What about the rumbling from earlier? Won't you attend to that?" Dante asks, realizing the rumbling had stopped moments ago.
"Oh, that has already been taken care of. Captain Pierce works quickly when it comes to intruders," Daniel says, holding back his smirk.
Daniel leads Dante to a carriage, opening the door for him. "Well, it's time we part. Tomorrow we'll continue our chit-chat. Take care and rest up, Dante," Daniel says as he closes the carriage doors, watching it speed off.
Inside the carriage, Dante looks out the window, reflecting on the events of the past two days and wondering what lies ahead in his adventure.
As the carriage approaches his home, he sees Olivia sitting on the stairs with a worried look. However, her face lights up when she sees Dante exit the carriage.
Olivia runs to hug Dante tightly, tears streaming down her face as she clings to him, afraid he might disappear again.
"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere for a bit. I'm here now, crybaby," Dante says while brushing Olivia's hair softly.
Aunt Maria walks out of the house with a worried expression on her face, approaching the two siblings and hugging them both. "Come inside, Danten; we must speak," she says.
