This will change a lot as the story goes on, and I might just have to make different ones, but that's ok, if you want info on power and how I'm treating the scaling it's here.
This is to help keep track of how powerful characters, and so on are, and explaining a few things, like world tiers, as they are revealed in the story.
Also, I'll adjust things so the scaling stays consistent within and across worlds.
So, random weakness that makes no sense for a joke? Toned down or removed.
I don't hate those gags, but if your character can blow up a planet or worse a damn universe, them getting cut on a normal knife, hurt by a rock, or put at gun point is a bit too much.
Tier 1 World.
These worlds typically have less prominent supernatural elements or are taken to a lesser extent. Most characters with a few exceptions, up to 5 are only around superhuman in power.
Also, their cosmology is typically not that large, but a few exceptions are noted as even with a large cosmology, if the characters don't have any interactions at that level, it will be ignored and resulted in being placed in this tier.
Requirements: Any world from the Below Human level to Multi-city block level.
Example, Star Vs the Forces of Evil has some really powerful spells, and magic mode Star, or Glossaryck are very powerful, but aside from a few spells and special modes, nobody is all that powerful. They are glass cannon types and at that point, it's not that crazy to place them here.
Due to the rarity of anything high-end, it ends up being a Tier 1 World.

Star Vs the Forces of Evil ranking system:
The tiers are based on in-universe logic, cause of course a Peak human would not fall into 'Normal human grade' otherwise, but this is fiction, so we get to have fun and do cool absurd things like that.
As I mentioned before magic user characters in this verse are glass canon, but I'll chalk it up to magic in this world being environmental and external system rather than an internal power system, like chi or chakra.
So, I would say they aren't casting the spells themselves, instead they are more so programming the magic around them to do it, itself.
It's like the difference between coding yourself and asking an AI model to do it for you.
So, I decided that magical catalysts like Star's magic wand, give you temporary levels. So long as the catalyst still has power in it, and you have it in your possession, you'll keep the extra levels, otherwise, you're back to base level.
How many extra levels? Depends on your magic proficiency and affinity, basically your magic stat, but there's a minimum level boost a catalyst can give depending on its item rank.
Normal Human grade: 1-34(Levels: 1-5)
It goes from an Average human to a Peak Human. So from some guy on the streets to Olympic athletes and top world champion fighters and so on.
Examples: Marco's Parents, and the other normal human characters.
Expert Fighter grade: 35-159(Levels: 6-25)
It goes from street tier to small building level. Most super powered characters in anime and so on end up in here.
Examples: Marco, Star(No wand), Average Monsters
Magic User grade: 160-499(Levels: 26-100)
It goes from building level to multi-city block level. Since like I said before magic can go beyond this level by A LOT, this is only the limit of base power, and your magic proficiency can always grow beyond this.
Don't be fooled, the range in this grade is big, so just because two vastly different characters in power fall in here it doesn't mean, they are equal at all.
Examples: Powerful monsters, Magic Council, Advanced magic users, Star(With Wand), Father Time, Glossaryck, etc

Item ranks
Since they were mentioned might as well add them now.
These are the ranks of items, and how powerful they are.
Inferior rank: This is the lowest rank which contains most things from normal stuff.
Examples: Pencil, Normal Sword, Glass Cup
Poor rank: This is the second-lowest rank, and it contains items capable of mass destruction or an equivalent effect.
Examples: Grenades, C4, and basic magic items.
Normal rank: This is rank is for items just shy of nuclear weapons.
Examples: Missiles, Tanks, and Advanced magical items.
Due to the nature of the current verse(Star vs evil), I decided to add a +++ to the items, if it has a triple plus, that means it has the potential to tap into those overpowered spells, and magic stuff I mentioned before.
Obviously only at least Normal rank items can be that powerful, and I don't think this will translate to other verses, but I'll see when the time comes.
If you have any questions, you can ask them here, I'll be more than happy to answer any questions, you may have.
