Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 Riot in the Auditorium

Kaisen didn't hesitate to use an ender pearl in the corridor, and in just a few breaths, he arrived at the corridor on his office floor.

The four little ones sat beside his office, chattering about something.

"What are you doing here?" Kaisen shouted at them.

"Ah, uh... Professor Kaisen, we came to... uh..."

"Never mind, to be honest, I welcome you all. Come on in."

Kaisen waved his hand, opening the office door and letting everyone in.

He then took out snacks and drinks from the cabinet and placed them on the coffee table.

He still hadn't forgotten Dumbledore's instructions.

"Please wait a moment while I finish this, and of course, you can come over and watch. After your third year, you'll start choosing elective courses; perhaps you can try Alchemy or something similar."

Kaisen, pretending to be busy, pulled out a massive redstone lamp block from under his desk. After violently dismantling its outer casing, he began fiddling with the various redstone circuits inside.

And as he expected, the four little ones gathered around him, curious.

"Why isn't this Alchemy based on magic runes?" Hermione asked, a little curious.

"Have you heard of the Enchanting Table? I prefer to let the Enchanting Table's enchanting effects replace the work of magic runes; it's more stable and more durable," Kaisen explained while dismantling the redstone lamp.

"Then what are these wisps of red?"

Hermione asked again.

Kaisen was very pleased with Hermione, his 'straight man' partner, and a piece of redstone appeared in his hand.

"This is an alchemical substance I refined myself. I call it redstone. It's a magical energy crystal that can, to a certain extent, replace the function of magic circuits."

"And the problem with this redstone lamp is very simple: the redstone circuit is broken. This is also where redstone circuits are more advanced than simple magic circuits. If this were a magic lamp, it would have exploded long ago," Kaisen said with a laugh.

"Can this lamp still be fixed?" Ron leaned his head closer and asked.

"Mm-hmm, it's very simple. You just need to find the broken spot and reconnect it."

"As long as you touch a redstone circuit with redstone, the redstone circuit will light up. Sometimes, when I make a large redstone mechanism with circuit errors, for example, if the switches are very complex and I'm too lazy to open them in order, I'll just remove the outer casing directly."

"Then, like this." Kaisen directly placed a small redstone block on a redstone circuit closest to the redstone emitter.

"Then wouldn't such redstone Alchemy be very easy to destroy?" Hermione asked.

"Use an outer casing."

"Oh... right." Hermione said, a little embarrassed.

"Mm-hmm." Kaisen quickly repaired the redstone lamp he had just broken, then looked at the others.

"I guess you have good news for me?"

At this, Neville immediately became excited.

"During Flying Class today, Malfoy didn't learn his lesson and still tried to cause me trouble. I taught him a good lesson! He put my Remembrall in the tree, so I put him in the tree too!"

As Neville spoke, his face was flushed, and he was exceptionally excited, like a hero who had defeated a great evil dragon.

"That's great, and I can see that you've regained your confidence. Believe me, your grandmother will be surprised by your change when you go home for Christmas," Kaisen said with a smile.

"She will?" Neville asked, his eyes sparkling.

"She will." Kaisen answered without hesitation, and at the same time, secretly made up his mind that it was necessary to write a letter to Neville's grandmother.

Constant suppressive education is not advisable.

"Also, Harry successfully joined the Quidditch team! He's the youngest ever since the school was founded, personally approved by Professor McGonagall!"

Neville continued to share with Kaisen, and he seemed like he could talk for ten days or half a month once he started.

It wasn't until the sun began to turn yellow that the four realized they had been there long enough, and it was time to leave.

"Oh, right, here are some small gifts for you. I hope you don't mind them. Perhaps you can also use these to make some interesting small objects." Kaisen waved his hand, and four fist-sized redstone cubes appeared on the coffee table in front of him.

"Thank you, Professor!" × 4

"Go on, although it sounds a bit cheesy, study hard."

Kaisen stretched his muscles and left his office, heading towards the Great Hall.

He heard there was lamb chop for dinner tonight; he had to properly savor it.

The Professors who came for breakfast, lunch, and dinner weren't always all present. Most of the time, Professors only attended on special occasions like the Welcoming Feast or the Halloween Feast.

And Kaisen also rarely saw Professor Snape, who usually seemed invisible, at the Professors' table on a normal day.

"Good evening, Severus... Perhaps that greeting is a bit strange."

Snape shook his head: "I've seen stranger greetings..."

As he spoke, he looked up at the Professors' table, making sure no one was paying attention to them, and then at Quirrell's empty seat. After a moment of thought, he spoke: "Did Dumbledore tell you about Quirrell?"

"Hmm... not really. I discovered it myself," Kaisen replied.

Snape nodded: "Very perceptive. That day I went to Hogsmeade to acquire a Potion ingredient. I saw you and Hagrid completely drunk at the Hog's Head Inn, and there was a man in black, seemingly trying to trick information out of you. Who was that person?"

"I couldn't see his face clearly, but I think that was Quirrell, asking Hagrid about Cerberus and me about how to get through my piston door... Did he ask you?"

"No. If he still needed to ask me about such a logic puzzle, he really should go to St. Mungo's to get his head checked." Snape's words showed no attempt to hide his disdain for Quirrell.

"Yes, uh..." Kaisen agreed, then suddenly paused.

"Dumbledore trusts me, and he also told me to give Quirrell a push if necessary, which means telling him the correct options." Snape noticed Kaisen's pause and explained.

"As for Quirrell, or rather Lord Voldemort, I don't really have an opinion. He's just a powerful and evil Dark Wizard. It's just that Dumbledore is always so superstitious about that prophecy. I've just arrived, I'm still a newbie. Honestly, does he really think he can rely on Harry, a child, to defeat Lord Voldemort?"

"Prophecy... sometimes it does demand reverence."

"Uh..." Kaisen was a bit unsure how to continue the conversation, so he could only dryly say: "I always thought Potions was a materialistic subject."

"Not so." Snape was about to explain when he was interrupted by a commotion from the students' table below.
